Your Fruitfulness Is Directly Related to Your Knowledge of Divine Truth.

Every farmer who enjoys a bountiful harvest does so only after a lot of hard work. He must cultivate the soil, plant the seed, and care for it till it matures. Each step is deliberate, disciplined, and systematic.

Similarly, bearing spiritual fruit is not a spontaneous or unplanned process. It necessitates our diligence in obtaining knowledge of God's will as revealed in His Word. It is the prayer of Paul in Colossians 1:9, which he repeats in verse 10.

The phrase "growing in God's understanding" (v. 10) might be rendered as "increasing by God's knowledge." Both versions are acceptable. The first emphasizes the urge to grow, whereas the second highlights the need of knowledge in spiritual progress.

The Holy Spirit renews your mind and modifies your thinking as your knowledge of God's Word grows. While you gaze into the Lord's revealed glory, you "are being converted into the same image from glory to glory" (2 Cor. 3:18). You've "put on the new self, which is being regenerated to genuine knowledge in the image of the One who made him" (Col. 3:10).

One of Satan's schemes to stifle spiritual activity is to distract Believers with humanistic philosophy and other bankrupt substitutes for God's truth. That is why he sent false instructors to Colosse to preach that simply knowing God's will is insufficient for true spirituality. That argument was challenged by Paul, who stated that Christ is the fullness of god in bodily form (Col. 2:9). "All the treasures of wisdom and understanding" are "hidden in him" (Col. 2:3). He is all you require!

The Bible instructs you to develop in the grace and understanding of Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 3:18). Is that how you live your life? Are you anticipating a fruitful spiritual harvest?

The Great Tribulation

It is our belief that the Great Tribulation referred to in the New Testament Book of Revelation (chapters 6-11) is unfolding before our eyes. In the near future, we will devote the "Tribulation" tab on our "Trending" menu to this emerging reality. As people continue to unplug from mainstream media, our commitment is to present the truth and encourage our audience to understand current events from a Biblical perspective. The Watchman

In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
