United Nations Urged to Report on Uyghurs Before Beijing Winter Olympics.

The Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC), a bipartisan group of US senators, is urging the UN’s human rights office to provide its evaluation of the persecuted Uyghur ethnic group in China’s Xinjiang area before the 2022 Winter Olympics.

In a letter to UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet, chair and co-chair of the CECC, Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) and Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) wrote, “Doing so would provide a global public service as the international community’s attention turns to China while it hosts this international spectacle.” “It would also reaffirm the fact that no country is beyond scrutiny or above international law.”

The Chinese regime is conducting genocide against Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, according to several Western nations, notably the United States, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. More than a million Uyghurs are being held in internment camps, where they are known to be subjected to abuses including as forced sterilization, abortion, rape, torture, forced labor, and the separation of children from their families.

The Chinese Communist Party has denied human rights violations in Xinjiang, claiming the camps are “vocational training centers.”

In a speech to the Human Rights Council in Geneva in September 2021, Bachelet expressed regret that her office had not been able to report progress on the “seek meaningful access” to Xinjiang.

Despite having made “no concrete congress” in conversations with CCP officials on a possible travel to the province, her office claimed three months later that it was finalizing its assessment of the situation in Xinjiang in the coming weeks.

Beijing will host the 2022 Winter Olympics, which will begin on February 4th. A collection of countries, including the United States, Australia, Canada, Lithuania, and the United Kingdom, have issued diplomatic boycotts against the competition. The US will still send athletes to the Olympics, but not as part of an official delegation.

António Guterres, the United Nations Secretary-General, has come under fire for accepting an invitation to the Beijing Olympics from the International Olympic Committee in December 2021. According to a joint statement released on Jan. 14, a coalition of 250 civil society organizations known as No Beijing 2022 is urging Guterres to reconsider his decision.

“Your participation would undermine the United Nations’ efforts to hold China accountable and go against the core principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and relevant treaties,” the organization said. “As the highest representative of the U.N., your attendance will be seen as credence to China’s blatant disregard for international human rights laws and serve to embolden the actions of the Chinese authorities.”

António Guterres’ lack of awareness here is inexcusable. What business does this man have going to Beijing? Did he miss the slave labor and forced sterilization memo’s? It’s hard to think of a logical way this man could have assumed his attendance would go unnoticed at the very place he should be working his tail off to help liberate.

It should come as no surprise to anyone who pays attention to global politics that this is happening. However, one could speculate and say that tensions across the board are running higher than ever for the Chinese Communist Party. Something has got to give, America and the rest of the world are no longer able to turn a blind eye from persecution due to the rapid spread of information in this digital age. António Guterres proves to be a good example of this case. The question remains, who will stop the CCP from committing further violations against human rights, and how much longer until that takes place? The people could surely rise up and put a stop to it, but i guess we’ll have to see if the CCP will be able to survive the tumble it’s currently Taking. California and New Jersey governors ordered National Guard troops this week to help with their COVID-19 response.

Guard personnel would be sent to long-term care facilities such as nursing homes around the state, according to New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, a Democrat.

“While the Omicron variant surges across the country, this deployment will send members of our National Guard to long-term care institutions with staffing needs and will act to preserve the health and safety of long-term-care residents,” Murphy said in a statement.

The approximately 150 Guard members will assist residents with daily activities and meal preparation in addition to testing and screening employees, residents, and visitors.

According to state health officials, there are 513 long-term care institutions in New Jersey with active COVID-19 outbreaks. COVID-19 is a sickness produced by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus that affects around 5,600 residents and 8,600 staff members.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, also activated over 200 Guard members on Friday to assist in the response to the nationwide COVID-19 outbreak.

According to Newsom’s office, guard personnel would assist in the establishment of new testing facilities as well as the maintenance of existing ones. The action is intended to fill the gap until permanent personnel can be hired at the sites.

COVID-19 cases have risen dramatically in the United States in recent weeks, owing to the dominance of the Omicron version of the CCP virus.

However, while the variant is more transmissible than the Delta strain, research and real-world data reveal that it produces fewer cases of severe sickness, and most hospitals are not currently full.

However, several hospitals are nearing capacity, and many are scrambling to fill staff vacancies brought on in part by the COVID-19 vaccine obligation.

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, a Democrat, indicated this week that the Washington National Guard will be activated to assist hospitals in need.

Governors in several states have lately deployed National Guard personnel in response to the storm.

Republican Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and Republican Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine both activated 1,000 soldiers of the state’s National Guard earlier this week to assist state and local officials in responding to the outbreak.

Except for Sununu, Maine Gov. Janet Mills, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, all Democrats, activated National Guard troops last month. “In consultation with our health care systems, I am deploying members of the Maine National Guard across Maine to expand our ability to treat people with COVID-19 and to provide care for Maine people grappling with other serious medical conditions,” said Mills in a statement.

Officials from the federal government stated this week that they don’t believe the Omicron-fueled wave has peaked yet, but that when it does, cases might drop dramatically, as they did in South Africa, where the strain was initially detected.

So where do we go from here? In the event of a serious catastrophe are we going to continue playing this two tier society simulation? Or will people stand up and admit that they’re wrong? Or will they just carry on, getting MRNA boosters due to the weaning of efficacy over time and across variants. Why is it that these people in society are begging to be coddled? Their actions have displaced hard working Americans during very uncertain times.

The information is out there, it’s been brought to the attention of the right people. Problem is, that just doesn’t quite fit their narrative. Nobody is going to believe a lab leak if they don’t take the time to do the research themselves. Because when it comes down to it, we have our word against theirs; And we don’t control mainstream media like they do. Now more than ever it’s important that you not only look outward, at the news and seek information; But that you also seek peace inwardly for salvation with Jesus Christ. The truth is, these governers don’t want to speak about the vaccine mandate because they know that there are real, hard working Americans who have been displaced. So they don’t want to give the people a pedestal to stand on, they want to keep everyone affected by the medical tyranny very quiet. Are we to seriously believe that nobody has anything to say about this? People in the public eye are scared to speak out, because fans are fickle. Never mind your social status when your God given rights are being stripped of you. Anyone can take a look out there and know that it’s time to work on your relationship with God.
