Update: 2/23/22 @5:45PM Satan Soldier Trudeau, a.k.a Boy-Emperor Invoked the Emergencies Act Without Significant Cutoff Points Under the Law, Canada Brown Shirts Set to End Freedom Convoy “Legal Demonstration”
Trudeau Revokes the Emergencies Act, Stating That the “Immediate Emergency Situation Is Ended
After invoking the Emergencies Act little over a week ago in response to persistent trucker convoy blockades and protests, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the government will stop using it.
Trudeau, together with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, Justice Minister David Lametti, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino, and Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair, made the announcement on Wednesday.
"We're ready to affirm that the issue is no longer an emergency today, following thorough evaluation." As a result, the federal government will no longer invoke the Emergencies Act," declared the prime minister.
While the "urgent emergency scenario" has passed, Trudeau stated that the issue "won't go away."
"At home and throughout the world, we must always struggle to safeguard and enhance our democracy," he told reporters.
On Monday, the House of Commons approved a vote affirming the convoy's time-limited emergency powers, which included broad financial options to suspend support.
If the Act was not withdrawn within 30 days, it would have expired.
Any infractions of the law that happened during the ten days the measures were in place, according to Lametti, would be pursued through the legal system.
In terms of the financial methods used, the RCMP has already started unfreezing accounts associated with people involved in the convoy.
Some bank accounts, however, will stay blocked, according to Freeland. She said in French, "Not because of the emergency measures." "There will be further orders, such as court orders, and bank accounts may be frozen as a result of these orders."
Over the weekend, police teams from throughout the nation joined forces to relieve the truck and protester bottleneck in downtown Ottawa, which had been blocking the city for more than three weeks.
Many of the trucks that were part of the Freedom Convoy have subsequently reassembled on private property outside of the city.
When asked about the threat posed by these new encampments, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded that law enforcement has the resources to deal with the matter.

The Trudeau government went public with a condemnation of Cuba over its lack of free speech protections as the government deployed unprecedented powers to crackdown on Canadian truckers and their supporters. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has invoked the 1988 Emergencies Act for the first time to freeze accounts of truckers and contributions by other Canadian citizens. It was entirely unnecessary and, while the media is largely supportive of Trudeau, the powers have been condemned by civil liberties groups in Canada.
Trudeau has pushed to retain these powers while denouncing Cuba for seeking to intimidate those who wish to protest in that country.
We can always expect the regime and its supporters to try to outlaw things they don't like. And once such things are illegal, we'll hear all about the evils of the "lawbreakers" any time those lawbreakers threaten the prestige or power of the regime. (Lawbreaking in favor of the regime, of course, is always tolerated.) It's a highly successful trick they've been using for thousands of years.
So Trudeau's emergency order in Canada empowers him to do some heinous things, such as prohibit individuals from traveling and jail them without charge. Now, we don't know if he'll do it, but what he may do is really concerning." SRH...
The mayor of Ottawa proposes selling confiscated "Freedom Convoy" trucks.
The three-week-long "Freedom Convoy" demonstration in Ottawa's downtown sector was dealt with harshly by police. Officers arrested marchers and impounded their cars on Friday and Saturday. Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson now wants to auction the impounded trucks and tents in order to recuperate millions of dollars misspent during the three-week standstill.
Watson repeatedly told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) on Sunday that the convoy's impounded trucks, campsites, and other vehicles should be auctioned, claiming that Boy-Emperor Trudeau's emergency powers may allow him to do so.
"Under the Emergencies Act, I've asked our solicitor and city manager, 'How can we keep the tow trucks, campsites, vans, and everything else that we've confiscated and sell those pieces of equipment to help collect some of the costs that our taxpayers are bearing?" Watson claimed to the state media.
79 automobiles were looted and towed to impound yards, as per the Ottawa police.
Demonstrators cost the Canadian capital CAD 1 million ($785k) every day, according to City Treasurer Wendy Stephanson. In a separate interview with CTV, Watson stated, "We should punish those people who have produced this mayhem."
It's uncertain if the mayor's proposal to sell the automobiles will be carried out. There's also no indication on whether the auctioned automobiles will even cover the $14 million in Brown Shirts costs.
Clearing out demonstrators over the weekend, according to Interim Police Chief Steve Bell, was "very costly."
"We've already spoken with our federal and provincial allies how, in the end, we'll look at having money supplied to the police department for that purpose. Those debates are still going on "Bell said. "We're still keeping tabs on our expenses. Our partners are continuing to work with us to determine the expenses of police to really handle this event, and we will be able to offer exact statistics at the conclusion."
"The unlawful occupation is finished," Bell declared on Saturday. On Sunday, he noted that security walls had been erected around downtown districts, with a "very substantial police presence."
The trucker convoy has yet to issue a statement on their impounded cars and their plans for retaliation... One would think they'd hire a lawyer and utilize contributed monies to try to get their autos back.
According to Ottawa Brown Shirts, at Least 170 Demonstrators Were Detained on Friday and Saturday Alone, Bringing the War of Ottawa to a Temporary End
After almost 200 protestors were detained and many more departed the area, Ottawa Police Chief Steve Bell proclaimed the 'Freedom Convoy' rallies in Canada's capital to be concluded on Saturday.
"This illegal occupation has come to an end. We'll keep working on our goal until it's done," Bell said, noting that there were still some minor protests in Ottawa.
On Friday and Saturday alone, 170 arrests were made, according to the police chief. On Saturday, protest leader Tom Marazzo said that many participants had "chosen to peacefully retreat" and would "just reassemble as a grassroots movement."
Bell, on the other hand, promised on Friday to track down and financially penalize individuals who were part in the demonstrations. "If you participate in this demonstration, we will actively seek to identify you and pursue financial fines and criminal proceedings against you," he said.
Satan Soldier a.k.a Trudeau did what all boy-emperors have ever done, he chose violence and intimidation.
Heavily Armed Ottawa Brown Shirts Arrest Over 100 Members of the 'Freedom Convoy' Protestors
Please check back frequently for updates. Canada's capital, Ottawa, is a city that's known for its multiculturalism.
Feb. 19 was another violent day for protestors in downtown Ottawa, where police shattered vehicle windows and pushed back against them. It was approximately 1pm on February 19 when Ottawa police announced that 47 persons were detained and 38 vehicles were towed.
Protesters opposed to COVID-19 demands continue to face considerable police presence in downtown Ottawa, a day after law enforcement stepped up operations against them.
There are still a few trucks and cars at the protest site despite the efforts of the police, who removed a large number of them on Feb. 19 before more arrived.
As of Feb. 19, there were some fresh protestors in the neighborhood, as well.

The expanded police operations came following the federal government’s use of the Emergencies Act. Police said they made over 100 arrests and towed 21 vehicles from the downtown core on Feb. 18.
Mounted police and officers on foot advanced on protesters on Feb. 18, knocking down some people. Some police officers were heavily armed, including with assault rifles.
Also on Feb. 19, the House of Commons resumed proceedings after suspending its sitting on Feb. 18 due to police operations on Parliament Hill.
HNewsWire-Interim Ottawa Police Chief Steve Bell informed reporters during a news conference that Ottawa police had made over 100 arrests (including high-profile organizers Tamara Lich, Chris Barber, and Pat King) and impounded at least 21 cars.
Law enforcement agencies had control of the situation on the ground, according to Bell, who described the strategy to attack demonstrators as "methodical" and well-thought out.
"This effort will operate 24 hours a day until the inhabitants and communities reclaim their city," Bell added.
In an attempt to put a stop to the protests, officers from throughout Ontario and Quebec, as well as the RCMP, have joined Ottawa police.
"Freedom Convoy" Organizers Face First-Time Judge In Ottawa Arrests Top 100
Organizers Tamara Lich, Pat King, and Chris Barber, three of the more than 100 "Freedom Convoy" protestors detained in Ottawa on Friday, will see a judge on Saturday for the first time in connection with their arrests. They'll face a slew of charges, most of them very minor, like impeding police, encouraging others to conduct mischief, and encouraging others to follow a court order.
The police used a variety of forceful methods to disperse the demonstrators on Friday, hoping to end a four-week occupation. Police in Ottawa ultimately denied using tear gas on protestors, claiming instead that protesters had fired gas at them from behind. On Friday and Saturday, the police stated that no gas had been used.
There are now over 100 people detained as part of the "Freedom Convoy" demonstration on Parliament Hill; organizers Tamara Lich, Pat King and Chris Barber will appear in court for the first time Saturday as the police crackdown continues on the demonstrators. More than a dozen misdemeanor charges are expected to be filed against the two men, including one for impeding police.

As a result of the "illegal" protests and street blockades, MPs will resume their discussion today on the use of the Emergencies Act to respond to them. The discussion began on Thursday, but House leaders from all parties agreed to cancel Friday's session due to a recommendation from Parliament security, according to Mark Holland, the Government House leader.
The Majority of Mainstream Media Has Disregarded Canada’s Violent Onslaught on Its Residents and It’s Clear That Peaceful Protests Will Not Be Accepted by the Globalist Community, Which Includes Canada’s Beautiful Boy MP Trudeau
In a final warning to the assembled protesters, Freeland said those who have their big rigs on Ottawa's streets will see their insurance cancelled and their corporate accounts suspended — a move that could make it difficult for these drivers to ever work again.
"The consequences are real and they will bite," she said. Meanwhile mainstream outlet reporters are taking a hacked list of donors the GiveSendGo Freedom Convoy fundraiser and have been harassing people who donated as little as $50.
At Least 70 ‘Freedom Convoy’ Protesters Are Arrested by Heavily Armed Ottawa Brown Shirts, Who Will Run “24 Hours a Day”
HNewsWire-Interim Ottawa Police Chief Steve Bell informed reporters during a news conference on Friday afternoon that Ottawa police had made at least 70 arrests (including high-profile organizers Tamara Lich, Chris Barber, and Pat King) and impounded at least 21 cars.
Law enforcement agencies had control of the situation on the ground, according to Bell, who described the strategy to attack demonstrators as "methodical" and well-thought out.

Every American watching events develop in Ottawa should be terrified, because Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has chose to unleash what appears to be the military on unarmed civilians who are simply asking for their freedoms back after they were taken away via COVID.
Some cops allegedly used military-style weaponry as they moved in on the three-week-long rally, according to accounts.
HNewsWire Reports police officers (or maybe even special ops) outfitted in full combat gear with assault rifles equipped with silencers approached unarmed protesters.
Trudeau Brown Shirts Move In To Arrested Peaceful Protesters
The regime doesn't need the world to see what's happening in downtown Ottawa.
AP News reports police have begun arresting protesters at the trucker demonstration in Ottawa's downtown district.
These are sweeping emergency powers that will be used against some of our most acclaimed figures and shut down some of our most cherished causes. Under this law, the only thing preventing Trudeau from shutting down movements - even historic movements like the Civil Rights marchers - is his affinity for the cause as opposed to the underlying conduct.
For the first time in history, Satan Soldier, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act to clampdown on what he has described as an attack on democracy itself in Canada. While civil libertarians in Canada have condemned the move as threatening core free speech and associations rights in the country, the American media and legal commentators have largely supported Trudeau in the use of these extreme controls.
Are people offended by the use of such measures against domestic rights marchers? or Canadian truckers. As the Canadian Civil liberties Association correctly noted, there is no restraining principle in Trudeau’s use of these powers. Trudeau just declared that the convoy “seriously threatens the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada” without any actual support for that finding.
Days after Prime Minister Satan Soldier Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act to crack down on protesters nationwide, Canadian are preparing to clear hundreds of truck drivers from Ottawa, according to Reuters.
'Freedom Convoy' demonstrators against the government's medical tyranny have staged a three-week-long siege of Ottawa's downtown district that prompted Trudeau on Monday to invoke the Emergencies Act to crack down on what he has described as an attack on democracy.
On Thursday evening, brown shirts began moving in on the downtown district, arresting peaceful protesters. HNW noted that two key organizers were arrested, as well as Tamara Lich and Chris Barber. The two have been described as top leaders in the movement. Authorities are expected to unleash a wave of arrests on Friday.
Some Canadians are outraged their regime would even enact such powers (not seen in fifty years) on what has been described as 'peaceful protests,' However, the Trudeau government sees things a little differently, calling truckers "anarchist" and treating them as so-called 'terrorists.'
Meanwhile, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association has reported its intention to sue every federal government for invoking the Emergencies Act in response, the CBC reports.
It remains to be seen if today's move to end the capital's siege will go smoothly. Trudeau's use of emergency powers has as of now prohibited travel, banned protests, conducted widespread arrests, blocked donations, and frozen bank accounts of truckers and their supporters. People are getting angry, and there are even fears of a possible bank run.
