Congressman Points Out Looming Threat Of Taiwan Invasion In Light Of Russia-China Collaboration.

According to two Legislators, Moscow and Beijing have been keeping each other up to date on their intentions in the run-up to the Ukraine attack.

At the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Feb. 25, Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) told EpochTV’s “China Insider” show that “I think they have cooperated and I think China is in a better position letting Russia go first, to analyze.”

China is attempting to measure its next steps on Taiwan, the self-ruled island that the Chinese Communist Party claims as its own territory and has long vowed to bring under its control, if necessary through force.

During an interview in Orlando, Florida, the politician stated, “China has designs on Taiwan.” “They also want to observe if the international community imposes genuine sanctions on Russia, how much it costs Russians, and how strong the willpower is to prevent an aggressive nation from gaining more land.”

Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Ohio) shared this viewpoint.

He cited Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the opening day of the Beijing Olympics three weeks ago, which resulted in the two countries creating a “no limits” alliance.

At the CPAC event, he told NTD, an offshoot of The Epoch Times, that “they’ve been conspiring behind the scenes.”

One of the topics discussed during “in-depth conversations” between the two countries’ foreign ministers a day before the Xi-Putin meeting was Ukraine. Moscow also “reaffirms its support” for Beijing’s claim that Taiwan is a part of China, according to the Kremlin statement.

Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Chinese foreign ministry has been bombarded with queries about whether Xi knew about the plan ahead of time and even offered Putin “his support,” but authorities have refrained from responding directly.

On Thursday, Hua Chunying, a spokesperson for Russia, told reporters, “Russia is an autonomous large country.”

When questioned if the timing of the assault, just days after the Beijing Olympics ended, was coincidental, she accused the reporter of having a “rich” imagination.

According to Buck, the escalating Ukraine situation is a boon for Beijing. A military war would divert focus away from the US-China rivalry, giving Beijing an opening to exploit.

“We won’t be able to accomplish what we want or need to do in the Pacific if the US starts pouring troops into Europe to defend Europe and do our share as a NATO partner,” Buck said.

He went on to say, “It serves as a distraction.”

“From China’s perspective, it’s a manner of siphoning off resources that could be used elsewhere,” the congressman explained. “China is most concerned in ensuring that this continues, and that Russia continues to pose a threat to the Baltics, Poland, Hungary, and other European countries.”

Beijing has avoided calling Russia’s attack on Ukraine an invasion so far, but it has stated that it respects “all countries’ sovereignty and territorial integrity,” an oblique reference to its stance that Taiwan is a part of China.

While the US is not prepared to fight Russia on the ground over Ukraine, the stakes are different in Taiwan, according to Buck.

He asserted that “the will to preserve Taiwan is larger than the will to defend Ukraine.”

“The idea that China and the way they have abused trade deals, stolen intellectual property, made themselves a military force in recent years, and attempted to disrupt shipping lanes that are essential for trade is different,” he said.

“Taiwan is in a situation that could have an impact on our ability to trade with Japan, Korea, and other neighbors,” he continued. “And to truly enable China to meddle in the affairs of strategic trading partners… “I don’t believe the US wants it to happen.”

An overwhelming majority of Americans, according to a January poll by the Trafalgar Group, oppose deploying troops or military equipment to Ukraine in the event of a Russian invasion. Only 15% of those polled agreed that the US should provide troops, while 30% believed that it should only provide guns and other supplies.

In the case of a mainland Chinese invasion, however, 58 percent of those polled say that US military capabilities should be utilized to defend Taiwan.

Both congressmen agreed that tougher action by the US is needed to prevent China from following Russia’s lead.

“It’s absolutely critical that they [Beijing] realize that attacking [Taiwan] will result in a serious military confrontation with the United States,” Chabot said, calling on Washington to abandon its long-standing policy of strategic ambiguity, in which the US remains deliberately vague on whether it would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion.

“China is not at all cooperative,” Chabot remarked. “But that’s not surprising, given that Russia and China are the world’s two main adversaries right now… the worst of the terrible actors are Putin and Xi—Russia and China.”

China doesn’t have the capability to make complex semiconductor integrated circuit chips, and the rest of the world is keeping that technology from them for the time being, seeing as they’re already using technology to enslave people and give them a grade on their existence. The severe economic sanctions that are set to hit Russia in light of the invasion no doubt include Nord Stream 2. But also the necessities to build out an industry for integrated circuit technology to bolster the 4th industrial revolution. Who knows what Russia will do now, but we know what China has done. Now that these two have teamed up, they could pose a significant threat in the event of simultaneous invasion of both Taiwan and Ukraine.

Surely, the United States has accounted for such a plan. However inevitably it would slow any western response and weaken a reactionary force. This scenario could unfold rapidly and the results would probably leave western society begging on their knees to be protected by the government. We’ve seen what happens when people hang on every word that the government says. It creates delusional people who don’t think in terms of common sense and natural curiosity. They have yet to question for a second wether these globalist sell outs indeed do have their best interest in mind or not. Before the caravan proceeds to Washington, D.C., a California organizer for Freedom Convoy USA 2022 is holding an overpass event in Los Angeles County.

The overpass event will take place at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25 near the intersection of Rosemead Boulevard and the CA-60 Freeway in El Monte, California, according to Mark Perez, the organizer.

The Freedom Convoy USA is distinct from The People’s Convoy, which will leave Barstow on February 23 with the purpose of abolishing the state of emergency and COVID-19 vaccine and mask mandates.

“We were all in with them,” Perez said of the other convoy groups, but organizers of Freedom Convoy USA 2022 were fed up with the delays and devised their own strategy.

According to him, the group has acquired permits in Washington, D.C., as well as other states.

Perez stated that the major goal is to “restore freedom in the United States.”

“It may be 20,” according to the number of vehicles anticipated to join the procession in El Monte. It might be tens of thousands.”

Perez said he never knows how many people will attend any of the freedom rallies or events he has coordinated in the last three years or more.

Because many truckers and supporters don’t want their names on a list for fear of “backlash,” no convoy keeps a “RSVP” tally.

“I’m simply a regular retired guy fighting for our liberty,” he says. Currently, eight of us are in vehicles that will go the entire route to Washington, D.C. “We’re paying for the entire trip ourselves,” he explained.

Perez stated that once in Washington, the group planned to have a rally across the street from the Washington Monument on March 1, the day before President Joe Biden delivers his State of the Union speech.

“We have no idea what will happen in Washington.” “We’re only having our event on March 1,” he remarked.

Several routes from various sections of the country to Washington are shown on maps uploaded on the Freedom Convoy USA 2022 Instagram page. The caravan will travel east from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Columbus before arriving in Washington, according to a map.

According to Perez, the group’s Instagram followers have recently increased from 30,000 to 50,000.

On Feb. 21, a Freedom Convoy USA representative, Kyle Sefcik, released a video on the group’s Instagram page, declaring the mission’s objective in an open statement to Biden.

“We’re coming peacefully,” he stated in the video. “We’re going to do this legitimately and constitutionally.”

“All we want is for the government’s overreach to stop,” he stated. “On behalf of Freedom Convoy USA 2022, we respectfully request that the state of emergency be lifted and the mandates be lifted once and for all.” Sir, the rest of the world is watching us because they know that if what’s occurring in Canada happens here in the Land of the Free, freedom as we know it would be lost.”

All Democrats and Republicans, according to Sefcik, must listen to the people.

“This entire caravan, this entire assemblage on the National Mall—it doesn’t even need to happen if you just stop things now so we can get on with our lives,” he remarked.
