In what appeared to be an effort to restart the PCR testing pandemic, Newsom proclaimed a state emergency on Wednesday and ordered additional “monitoring” and “tracking” personnel. Cattle instances of bird flu were determined to be caused by a different strain, according to the CDC’s viral genomic data.
There is no proof that bird flu may transmit from person to person, and it poses no special danger to livestock.
