Today, the Supreme Court of the United States handed President Trump a significant victory.
The Supreme Court of the United States reached a majority decision in favor of former President Donald Trump in his appeal to the state of Colorado’s attempt to remove him from the primary ballot for the year 2024.
The decision of the Supreme Court to decide in favor of Trump’s arguments in the case will have an effect on the status of efforts in a number of other states to remove the candidate who is most likely to be the nominee of the Republican Party from their respective ballots.
Article 3 of the 14th Amendment, which prohibits former public officeholders who “engaged in insurrection” from holding public office again, was examined by the court for the very first time, and its meaning and significance were taken into consideration. In more than thirty states, challenges have been submitted to remove Trump on the ballot for the 2024 election.
We come to the conclusion that states have the authority to disqualify those who are currently holding or attempting to hold state office. However, according to the Constitution, states do not have the authority to execute Section 3 with regard to federal positions, particularly the administration of the presidency, the Court wrote.

Gay provided viewers with a clear interpretation of the 14th Amendment despite the fact that many Democratic jurists in numerous states had previously rejected the underlying idea, arguing that anyone raising concerns about democracy or the constitution is a modern-day confederate.
Gay was questioned on MSNBC’s Morning Joe about her response to those of us who have questioned the constitutionality of denying Trump the right to vote under the 14th Amendment.

Former Confederates running for public office obviously posed a threat to the spirit of those Confederates as opposed to the United Americans, who fought a protracted and bloody Civil War to save the Union. They changed the Constitution in order to stop such traitors from standing for office, in fact.This court is merely tossing matches to a powder keg of a nation. America might face another Civil War in the future.

The independent Robert F. Kennedy cautioned the country’s citizens that they had good reason to be very concerned about the US’s future. “The Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to remove President Trump from the ballot should trouble every American.” He has not been found guilty of a crime, but the court has still denied him a crucial right. He posted to X, saying, “This was done without an evidentiary hearing in which he is given the basic right to confront his accusers.” “Trump’s supporters will never accept the outcome if he is kept out of office by judicial fiat rather than being defeated in a fair election,” he continued. “This nation will lose its ability to be ruled.” The voters must now be trusted. The public have the last say in selecting the most deserving candidate. not in the legal system. The populace. That is the fundamentals of democracy.
On December 19, 2023, the Colorado Supreme Court, consisting of seven Democrats, voted 4-3 . The same court stayed their own ruling as Trump’s lawyers appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, which is expected to take the case in an expedited fashion since the CO Republican primary is set for March 5, 2024, and ballots need to be printed.
Democrats in multiple states have failed in using the 14th Amendment to have Trump removed, making CO the first state to issue this type of ruling. Trump immediately issued a statement saying they would be appealing this at the U.S. Supreme Court.
Multiple constitutional experts have already come out publicly saying they believe the U.S. Supreme Court will overturn the CO SC, stating they also think it will be close to a unanimous decision, despite three out of the nine SC justices being liberal Democrats.
We’ll get into the reactions, from both the right and the left, down below, but first, this ruling, on top of the cases in multiple states, where warfare is being used to interfere in the 2024 election, in an attempt to stop Donald Trump from becoming President again, immediately caused “Civil War” to trend on social media.
On social media, die-hard Trump supporters reacted with outrage, some calling the ruling an act of ‘election interference’ that could spark ‘civil war’.
One user expressed disbelief, questioning the absence of an official conviction for insurrection: “Colorado ? Am I missing something when I say when was Donald Trump officially convicted of insurrection? This election interference is going to start a full-blown civil war, I swear. Praying for America.”
Another commenter echoed this sentiment, perceiving the court ruling as a provocation toward civil unrest: “Colorado just gave the first shot over the bow toward Civil War. 4 judges should not be able to overrule the will of 6 MILLION COLORADO CITIZENS. Again, Democrats are NOT confident they can beat Trump at the ballot box so they are trying to circumvent THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.”
Third user, appalled by the decision, linked it to a potential catalyst for conflict, stating, “Colorado court removes Trump from ballot !!! Watch the civil war begin. Citing a law that Trump hasn’t even been convicted of.”
Most Republicans, whether Trump supporters or not (excluding the “NeverTrumpers), are fed up with the use of lawfare against Trump by Democrats and the Biden DOJ’s Special Counsel Jack Smith, as a means of trying to stop Trump from running against Joe Biden, who Trump is beating in the polls, and in “swing state” polling.
