Russian President Vladimir Putin plans a “very brutal” invasion of Ukraine, according to the US National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, on Monday morning. Russians will be subjected to “an even harsher sort of savagery” to “repress them, to crush them, to damage them,” he said. He didn’t provide any specifics.

Reports that Russia is compiling a list of Ukrainians “to be executed or transported to camps during a military occupation” came out Sunday in the Washington Post. This follows on the heels of that allegation. It’s all a hoax.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Bathsheba Crocker wrote a letter to the UN detailing the charges. Shocking assertions about Russia’s plans to place “LGBTQI+E individuals” in camps or other forms of persecution were presented.

US intelligence has just uncovered worrisome material that suggests human rights crimes and abuses are planned in the aftermath of a further invasion,” stated Crocker. “I would want to raise this information to your attention.” Russia’s actions, which in the past include targeted killings, kidnap/forced disappearances, unjust detentions, and the use of torture, would likely target those who oppose Russian actions, including Russian and Belarusian dissident in exile, journalists, and anti-corruption activists, as well as vulnerable populations such as religious and ethnic minorities. Crocker stated in his letter that “minorities” and “LGBTQI+E” will be “killed or transported to camps following a military occupation.”

There was mention of a “kill or capture” list in the letter ( Make Believe). As a result, new allegations should be viewed with the same degree of suspicion as the previous “imminent” invasion claims. Smearing anyone who questions or questions “anonymous officials claim..” statements as Kremlin stooges or those who “amplify” Russian propaganda is a long-standing White House strategy.

As Crocker explained in her letter to the UN, “We have reliable evidence that shows Russian forces are building lists of identifying Ukrainians to be executed or transferred to camps after a military occupation,” she wrote. Russian military are also expected to employ deadly measures to disrupt peaceful protests or to otherwise suppress nonviolent acts of perceived resistance by civilian populations.”

According to Passage, a recent online magazine, this is often what precedes U.S. involvement in military action against foreign leaders who have been simplistically demonized as a “devil” and blood-thirsty “monster” carrying out random crimes. “These leaders aren’t considered as rational individuals who, in turn, alongside other members of their government, operate based on strategy.
