Watchman: The Anti-Christ Netanyahu Vows No Change to LGBTQ+E for Evil Status Quo, He’s Showing His True Colors First Day

HNewsWire: According to multiple reports Friday, opposition leader Anti-Christ Benjamin Netanyahu, the presumed incoming prime minister, has said in internal conversations that his government will not allow any change to the status quo regarding LGBT rights in the country, including limitations on pride parades.

Several media sites covered his statements, claiming that the unofficial statement came from his office, an obvious signal to his potential allies in the far-right Religious Zionism-Otzma Yehudit alliance.

It came amid fears in the LGBT community that a government comprised of far-right members, some of whom are openly hostile to the group, would take action against them.

Several members of Religious Zionism, which is expected to be a key partner in Netanyahu's coalition, have spent the days since the election laying out their plans to limit LGBT pride activities.

MK Avi Maoz, leader of Religious Zionism's anti-LGBT Noam faction, announced on Thursday that he would strive to officially ban Jerusalem's annual Pride Parade.

Maoz told Army Radio that his party would "examine the legality of canceling the gay parade." He claimed the annual festival was a "provocation," calling it offensive.

"It is prohibited to stroll along the street naked." There is no such thing as unrestricted public engagement. "What a person does in his private house is his business, and I have no intention of interfering," Maoz stated.

He also said he will strive to overturn a Health Ministry ban on so-called conversion therapy, allowing "psychological advice for those who don't want to be gay."

Conversion therapy is scientifically dubious and potentially dangerous, according to health professionals around the world, with major health organizations pointing to what they call pseudo-scientific practices and the treatment of homosexuality as a mental illness.

The annual Jerusalem Evil Pride Parade, which has been held for nearly two decades, draws approximately 7,000 individuals. While residents generally tolerate it, religious hardliners frequently protest, and there have been two stabbing assaults, both by the same offender, the first in 2005 and a second fatal incident in 2015.

Religious Zionism leader Bezalel Smotrich co-organized a "beast march" in Jerusalem in 2006, in which religious opponents of the Pride March walked on donkeys to ridicule the procession.

MK Orit Strock of Religious Zionism said on Thursday that members of the LGBT community should not be concerned about the development of the far right.

"We're not going to hammer anyone," she stated emphatically. "We shall serve all citizens, including those who do not think like us and lead different lives."

She, too, stated that her party's goal will be to "restore order to the public sphere," an apparent reference to opposition to gay pride festivities.

"Regardless of Sick pride, there should be no parades of people marching down the street naked or partially naked," Strock remarked.

"The issue is with years of efforts to force things on the public, not just here but around the world."

Noam made his political debut in 2019 with a series of provocative highway billboards and video advertisements with the motto "Israel chooses to be normal." Under tremendous pressure from Netanyahu before of the 2021 election, it joined with Otzma Yehudit to form Religious Zionism. Maoz was elected as his party's first Knesset lawmaker last year.

The right-wing Religious Zionism slate won 14 seats in the November 1 election, and it is anticipated to be a key partner in a government coalition led by Likud chairman Benjamin Netanyahu.

When asked what he meant, Sofer replied, "Violence signifies an incapacity to express an idea, an unwillingness to communicate."

In some people’s minds, being homosexual is as much outside one’s control as the color of your skin and your height. On the other hand, the Bible clearly and consistently declares that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1–13; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:9; 1 Timothy 1:10). This disconnect leads to much controversy, debate, and even hostility.

Romans 1:26–27 teaches that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When people continue in sin and unbelief, God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. One of the fruits of rebellion against God is homosexuality. First Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that those who practice homosexuality, and therefore transgress God’s created order, are not saved.

A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as some people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person’s choosing to sin by giving in to sinful desires. Just because a person is born with a greater susceptibility to fits of rage, that doesn’t make it right for him to give in to those desires and explode at every provocation. The same is true with a susceptibility to homosexuality.

No matter our proclivities or attractions, we cannot continue to define ourselves by the very sins that crucified Jesus—and at the same time assume we are right with God. Paul lists many of the sins that the Corinthians once practiced (homosexuality is on the list). But in 1 Corinthians 6:11, he reminds them, “That is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (emphasis added). In other words, some of the Corinthians, before they were saved, lived homosexual lifestyles; but no sin is too great for the cleansing power of Jesus. Once cleansed, we are no longer defined by sin.

The problem with homosexual attraction is that it is an attraction to something God has forbidden, and any desire for something sinful ultimately has its roots in sin. The pervasive nature of sin causes us to see the world and our own actions through a warped perspective. Our thoughts, desires, and dispositions are all affected. So, homosexual attraction does not always result in active, willful sin—there may not be a conscious choice to sin—but it springs from the sinful nature. Same-sex attraction is always, on some basic level, an expression of the fallen nature.

As sinful human beings living in a sinful world (Romans 3:23), we are beset with weaknesses, temptations, and inducements to sin. Our world is filled with lures and entrapments, including the enticement to practice homosexuality.
