884 Navy Service Members Discharged For Refusal To Comply With Mandatory COVID-19 “Vaccine” Policy.

The number of Navy members fired for refusing vaccinations has grown to 884, according to the military service.

The Navy reported in a COVID-19 update that 796 active component sailors and 66 reserve component sailors had been separated, all with “an honorable characterization of service.”

There have been a total of 22 Entry Level Separations. Individuals who have departed from the Navy before completing 180 days of active military duty have received their separations since the vaccination mandate began.

Active-duty sailors were required to be completely vaccinated with COVID-19 by November 28, 2021, while reserve forces had until December 28, 2021.

The COVID-19 vaccine requirement was first implemented in August 2021 by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, a Biden nominee, who stated that vaccination will “allow our military members to stay healthy, better protect their families, and guarantee that our force is ready to serve wherever in the world.”

The vaccine restrictions, according to Austin, are “essential to safeguard the force and defend the American people.”

Despite the injections being less successful in protecting against the highly transmissible Omicron form, the Navy began firing personnel in January of this year and has yet to loosen up on the requirement.

Several troops have requested exemptions from the obligation due to religious or medical reasons.

The Navy stated that “sailors who submitted religious accommodation requests may no longer be separated for vaccination refusal.” “Vaccine refusalists who have not requested religious accommodations would face harsh administrative consequences, including separation.”

A total of ten religious accommodation petitions for members of the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) have been conditionally authorized, according to the Navy. This means that the individual will not be obliged to get vaccinated while in the IRR, but must be completely vaccinated before returning to duty.

There are 3,355 active-duty and 857 Ready Reserve petitions for religious exemptions from inoculation as of May 5. There are 14 permanent medical exemptions and 224 temporary medical exemptions available to active-duty service members, while one permanent medical exemption and 86 temporary medical exemptions are available to Ready Reserve service members.

According to the United States Naval Institute, the Navy has the second-highest number of individuals dismissed for refusing to take the shot, behind the Marine Corps, which has separated 2,117 Marines.

In the meanwhile, the Army has 505 separations, while the Air Force has 351.

3,951 active component and 3,291 Ready Reserve military personnel were still unvaccinated as of May 5.
