America’s Generals and the Military-Industrial Complex — Mostly Satan Soldiers

Revelations from a new book, Peril, by Bob Woodward and Rob Costa, reveal just how deep the spiritual rot in the military goes. In the days after the January 6 protest, General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, promised, in the event of a war, to give aid and comfort to China. According to the Washington Post, after the Capitol protest, Milley sent secret communiques to the head of the People’s Liberation Army, promising that “If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”

In a decent country such a brazen act of collusion with a foreign power by one of the most prominent leaders of the armed forces would be met with immediate and unrelenting backlash. Instead, this betrayer of the Constitution and the principle of civilian leadership of the military is a liberal darling. At the inauguration, Joe Biden thanked Milley for undermining President Trump in the final weeks of his presidency.

Milley, before reaching out to China, sat down with the service’s top officers and demanded from them what amounted to an oath—none of them would launch a nuclear weapon without his approval. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff went behind the President’s back to secure control over the nation’s most important weapons.

Our generals are losers abroad, and grifters at home. They parrot MSNBC talking points on Twitter and grovel before Fauci. This is bad enough. But Milley’s actions show that America’s top military officers have reached another level of delusion. They fancy themselves a new praetorian guard to protect the nation—as construed by elite editorial boards—from the people’s elected representatives.

This deep state is in control. It is clear that no populist elected leader can trust America’s security establishment. As Senator Chuck Schumer warned President Trump on Rachel Maddow’s show in 2017, the intelligence community has “six ways from Sunday of getting back at you.”

The military establishment is gloating now and flexing its muscle. After the election, outgoing Syria envoy Jim Jeffrey admitted that the Pentagon and State Department had consistently lied to Trump about troop levels in Syria. Before he left office, Trump’s order to have troops out of Afghanistan by January 15 was overruled by the establishment. Trump, far from trying to start a war on his way out of office, sought to end one.

White House spokesperson Jen Psaki claims that Milley was following “constitutional orders to prevent unlawful military actions.” According to her, Trump “was implementing an insurrection.” The claim that Trump wished to start a war to distract from the election, upon which Milley based his collusion with the Chinese government, was an utter lie. Nor was Trump implementing an insurrection; the FBI has dispensed with this myth, finding that there was no coordinated plot associated with the Capitol riot.

There will be no hearings, serious journalistic investigations, or outcry from the establishment.

Milley will go unpunished.

He will retire with full honors and full pension.

The Pentagon will never reform itself from the inside.

The entire military-industrial complex (MIC) must be dismantled if we are ever to have again an armed forces consistent with the Founders’ republican virtues.

The American Right must be willing to starve the Pentagon of its lifeblood. The most important asset the people have is their bodies.  American mothers and fathers need to stop feeding their children into the machine. Heartland American boys and girls have better things to do and better leaders to serve under. The American people must go on strike until the generals once again learn to subordinate themselves to the people.

GOP politicians must assist their constituents in this noble task. They must find real courage and demand radical institutional change. This starts with deep and abiding budget cuts for the Pentagon and the rest of the MIC. The Founders’ distrust of permanent standing armies must be restored.

America should once again rely on true citizen soldiers for national defense.

The world has changed. America’s grand strategy must change with it. Our current conventional force cannot defeat insurgencies anyway. The proliferation of nuclear weapons, on the other hand, means that “Great Power conflict” is virtually impossible. There is no need to keep buying weapons systems designed to fight a redux of WWII. Our bases overseas are a relic of the liberal humanitarian world order. Having 20,000 troops in Okinawa didn’t prevent the Chinese Communist Party from using Twitter bots to stir up hysteria over Covid. Our dozen aircraft carriers didn’t stop our politicians from implementing lockdowns and vaccine passports. America’s air bases in Turkey, Germany, and Diego Garcia didn’t keep the Taliban from retaking control of their country.

America was never the world’s policeman. An empire in the name of democracy and freedom was always an idiotic idea.

Widespread gun ownership is a much better guarantor of American liberty than any SEAL team or aircraft carrier. The Militia Act of 1792 is a much better model for national defense than our current setup. The act enrolled every able-bodied male citizen between the ages of 18 and 45 into the militia. It also demanded that each of these men provide themselves with a “good musket or firelock” and “a sufficient bayonet.” Far from trying to take away firearms, the Founders demanded every American male citizen possess one.

Self-sufficiency in arms is the foundation of liberty, national sovereignty, and independence. Tyrannies never arm their citizens; republics always do. Our security as a nation should not depend on over-hyped “super soldiers.” The “silent professionals” with their podcasts, book deals, and TV appearances play, in the grand scheme of things, only a very minor role in protecting the life, liberty, and property of the American people.

The unmitigated corruption in the leadership of the armed forces is a sign of deep cultural rot. The patriotic flag-waving of the post-9/11 response has been used to great harm against the American people. An unwillingness by the political class to criticize and hold accountable those charged with defending the nation has led to our current spiritual crisis. America can’t win overseas, her generals sell out her leaders to foreign powers, and the retired members of this elite class do nothing but gobble up fat checks from the corporations they once purchased from. This is an untenable state of affairs.

  In the first year of the break cycle, there will be bad weather and strange conditions all over the world. Some places will have droughts and others will have floods. In today’s world, that happens all the time.

  “And famine will strike in the second year.” In 2021, we thought that what was happening now was just the start of bigger problems that would come the next year, such as a possible famine and deaths.

  If this happens, there will be a terrible plague the next year, but not everyone may notice its affects right away. The forecast says that in the third year, there will be a major global disaster that will kill many people. We know that millions of people have died because of the mRNA vaccine.

  Lockdowns and other “protective measures” that got in the way of their schoolwork and socializing hurt them the most. Kids spent a lot of time on Google, and it’s clear that this had bad effects.

  I remember the first long lockdown, during which kids were not allowed to play in the park. It made me very sad, and I know of a few instances where teens have tried to kill themselves. For many reasons, the treatment turned out to be harder than the fake disease.

  I saw that left-wing protests and social meetings were allowed, but synagogues and churches were closed. Because of this, it is very important to remember this forecast.

  The normal calendar starts in January, while the Jewish calendar starts in the Hebrew month of Tishrei, which is around September. This makes the two dates a little out of sync with each other. In either the fifth year, which is 2022, or the second year, which is 2019, there will be a lot of hellion on Earth.

  In the fifth and sixth years, or the last year, there will be talks about conflicts. In the seventh year, these conflicts will get worse and turn into major fights.

  The Jewish calendar began at the end of September, so there would be problems because of that. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what we saw at the start of the Jewish year, which fits with this seven-year time frame.

  Some people have told me that there was a clear pattern that led to the Israeli war.

  Before it started, the major story in Jewish news was the conflict in Israel, which was like a civil war with irrational fighting, protests, and troops refusing to report for duty. This was a very important time for Israel and the Jewish people because our enemies could see how disorganized and weak we were. having an understanding that disagreements and fights among Jews usually end in terrible things.

  We talked about lack of strength but unexpected link between Russia and the Hamas attack on October 7.

  The peace deal that Saudi Arabia and Israel signed not long ago, in September, was the subject of a lot of debate. As part of this deal, trade would grow and a train network would be built to connect Saudi Arabia to Europe via Israel. Pipelines that would have let Saudi Arabia send its oil to Europe would have been an important part of this deal. Israel can now get gas, and they want to build pipes to connect to Europe. Russia had problems because it relied too much on sending oil and gas to Europe. What the deal between Saudi Arabia and Israel meant for Israel was bad for Russia.

  Both Russia and the Palestinians wanted the deal to fail. Russia thought this war was a big success because it kept the world’s attention off of them and protected their gas and oil revenues. All of a sudden, people talked a lot about Israel and Hamas. A year ago, many people in the West stood with the Ukrainians. Now, however, the attention is on the Palestinians. I think that Russia may have helped or backed the Hamas attack.

  Because of that, Russia gets a boost. Additionally, Ukraine is currently seeing a drop in total funding and financial aid. It’s important to note that Russia hosted a Hamas group in Moscow soon after the event and again a few weeks later. Russia doesn’t think of Hamas as a terrorist group. One of the heads of Hamas, Abu Marzouk, told the media that Russia is their main ally.

  Dr. Joseph Ladapo again raised concerns about the delivery of “nucleic acid contaminants” in the vaccines and the “risk of DNA integration” into cells. And again, the FDA stood behind the science.

  Against the recommendations of federal health agencies, Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo has called for a “halt in the use of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines.”

  In a statement released Wednesday by the Florida Department of Health,
  Ladapo referred to a Dec. 6 letter to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in which he raised concerns about “nucleic acid contaminants” in the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, and the “unique risks posed by DNA integration.”

  The FDA had refuted Ladapo’s concerns in a Dec. 14 response and stated that “based on a thorough assessment of the entire manufacturing process, FDA is confident in the quality, safety, and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines.”

  The FDA further stated that “with over a billion doses of the mRNA vaccines administered, no safety concerns related to residual DNA have been identified.” The U.S. accounts for more than 670 million doses.

  However, in Wednesday’s statement iterating his concerns, Ladapo called the FDA’s explanation inadequate and said “the FDA has provided no evidence that these risks have been assessed to ensure safety.

  In an email to Health News Florida, the FDA reiterated its confidence in the COVID-19 vaccines and described Ladapo’s claims as misleading.

  “The FDA stands firmly behind the safety, effectiveness and manufacturing quality of the approved and authorized COVID-19 vaccines, and respectfully disagrees with the Florida Surgeon General’s opinion.

  “It is simply a fact that millions of lives have been saved because of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, which most Americans undergoing vaccination have received,” said FDA spokesperson Cherie Duvall-Jones.

  Unlike some vaccines, messenger RNA, or mRNA, vaccines do not contain pieces of the virus. Instead, it gives cells instructions for how to make the spike protein found on the surface of the coronavirus, prompting the body to create antibodies that will fight the virus if infected. The delivery is done via lipid nanoparticles, which are easily absorbed by cells.

  “Lipid nanoparticles are an efficient vehicle for delivery of the mRNA in the COVID-19 vaccines into human cells, and may therefore be an equally efficient vehicle for delivering contaminant DNA into human cells,” Ladapo wrote in the Dec. 6 letter.

  While mRNA vaccines are relatively new, they are not unknown, according to John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Decades of research have preceded the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccines “do not affect or interact with your DNA.”

  In the FDA’s December response to Ladapo, Peter Marks, director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, stated that it was implausible “that the minute amounts of small DNA fragments present could find their way into the nucleus of these cells.”

  Past controversy

  Appointed in 2021, Ladapo has drawn criticism from federal health officials and the scientific community for his statements on vaccines and the COVID-19 pandemic.

  Florida became the first state to recommend against the COVID-19 vaccine for healthy children, contrary to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendation that most Americans 6 months and older receive booster shots.

  In March 2023, the CDC and FDA issued a joint letter stating that Ladapo’s claims of increased health risks related to the COVID-19 vaccine were “incorrect, misleading and could be harmful to the American public.”

  The letter further stated, “focusing on adverse events in the absence of causal association and without the perspective of countervailing benefits is a great disservice to both individuals and public health. … Serious adverse events from COVID-19 vaccines are rare and are far outweighed by the benefits of these vaccines for every age group”

  A Tampa Bay Times analysis also found that Ladapo recommended that young men should not get the vaccine due to risk of cardiac-related deaths after Florida health officials had omitted key COVID-19 vaccine data. A group of epidemiologists and professors called the guidance “badly flawed.”

  Texas authorities began arresting illegal immigrants at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass on Wednesday after the state’s attorney general defied a cease-and-desist letter sent by the Biden administration demanding officials stop blocking U.S. Border Patrol agents from the site.

  The arrests were announced by Lt. Chris Olivarez at the Texas Department of Public Safety on X, formerly Twitter.

  Mr. Olivarez said single adult migrant men and women were taken into state custody and charged with criminal trespassing under Governor Greg Abbott’s new state law, which allows police to arrest and charge people suspected of entering the country illegally.

  DHS threatened to report the situation to the Department of Justice for “appropriate action” if state officials did not cease “barring” Border Patrol’s access to the area by Wednesday, despite the Texas Military Department’s contradictory statement.

  In response to the DHS’s Wednesday request for a cease and desist, Mr. Paxton defended the conduct of the Texas authorities.”The State will continue using its constitutional authority to defend her territory, and I will continue defending those lawful efforts in court because the facts and the law side with Texas,” Mr. Paxton wrote.

  The Texas Republican further referred to the White House’s attempts to attribute the three illegal aliens’ deaths to Texas as “vile” and “completely inaccurate.”

  “You should advise your clients at DHS to do their job and follow the law, instead of running to the U.S. Department of Justice in hopes of winning an injunction,” Mr. Paxton wrote.

  The Biden Administration’s “inaction” may theoretically be construed as “international bribery” or something similar, which could lead to RICO charges.

  Was a Nazi slogan brandished at a Reopen Illinois rally? The answer depends on what you search, and when you search for it.

  

  HNewsWire: ACROSS THE NATION, protesters have taken to the street, demanding that governors “reopen” state economies. From North Carolina to Maryland, Pennsylvania to Illinois, Americans want the opportunity to work, and some feel that state restrictions have encroached on their civil liberties.

  While the basic right to work is not something that would usually seem polarizing, many epidemiologists, infectious disease experts, and politicians argue that opening the economy too early is a public-health risk. As rallies spread from state to state, they have come to embody the deep political rifts seemingly entrenched in American society. Amidst the crowds fly “Don’t Tread on Me” flags, and many who refuse to wear masks proudly wear MAGA hats.

  

  The Southern Poverty Law Center has warned that the rallies are providing a platform for extremist groups, while others note the important role that whiteness plays in driving these protests altogether. Given the propensity for these groups to conflate economic concerns with white supremacist slogans, gatherings have looked eerily similar to the crowds that formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017.

  On May 1, these concerns coalesced around a picture taken by a nurse at the “Re-Open Illinois” protest. While attending the rally, the person posted a picture of a woman holding a sign with the German phrase “Arbeit macht frei.” While it literally translates to “Work sets you free” in English, the phrase also holds symbolic significance. It was a slogan of the Nazi party and appeared on the entrance of Auschwitz and other concentration camps.WIRED OPINIONABOUT

  Francesca Tripodi is an assistant professor at James Madison University. Her book exploring how ideological biases are coded into key words is currently under contract with Yale University Press.

  As of May 4 this post has been retweeted over 16,000 times and liked by more than 52,000 users. It sparked #IllinoisNazi to start trending on Twitter on May 2. In the feed, many began to question if the photo was “real.” Given my previous research on how users seek out truth and validate news, I went into a Google incognito window and typed the phrase “arbeit macht frei protest sign illinois.” In the wake of the new story unfolding, information about the situation was limited. The newsworthiness of the phrase existed in what researchers refer to as a “data void“-search terms for which the available relevant data is limited or problematic. At that moment (May 2, a little before noon ET), only a few stories surfaced. One was from The Guardian condemning the use of the slogan at the rally. Another from Mediaite featured a headline accusing the Associated Press of misidentifying the sign and publishing misinformation. Even more confusing is that a few hits down was the AP link to a fact-check article with the headline “Protestor not waving sign with Nazi slogan.”

  

  I was immediately confused. Was this post a “fake”? Had it been Photoshopped in an effort to frame libertarians as Nazis? I clicked on the AP link, which seemed to claim that the photo of a sign reading “Arbeit macht frei” was edited. It wasn’t until I read the article in full that I realized the depth of the confusion. The AP was fact-checking an entirely different protest. It wasn’t misidentifying a fake photo as Mediaite claimed, it was fact-checking a claim from Re-Open Pittsburgh not Re-Open Illinois. Adding to the confusion was that the AP story was published on the same day as the Re-Open Illinois protest (May 1). Herein lies the power of data voids and why the temporal structure of news is so critical when understanding the flow of misinformation online.

  Linking to the Mediaite article, people began dismissing the Illinois sign as “fake.” While some come back on the thread to correct their mistake, the claim is already out there. Those wanting to think the sign wasn’t real now have the power of a news story to back their claim. As you can see on Twitter, people are also using the AP story to dismiss the sign as fake. Users out their “doing their own research” are clearly not reading past the headline when it comes to verifying their own biases.

  

  Since the original tweet, the void has been filled. Search for information about the sign and a number of news stories from Buzzfeed, The Hill, Business Insider, NBC, and Forbes corroborate the claims by the nurse in Illinois. He witnessed the rally, took the photo on his phone, and has verified the sign was real. The Auschwitz Museum has also used Twitter to condemn the hateful language used on the Illinois sign.

  

  But in many ways, the damage is already done. As #IllionisNazi began to trend, people who believed what they saw and those who didn’t seek to find more information. Based on Google’s immediate returns, it allowed for some to walk away thinking that hate speech and antisemitism in the United States isn’t “real.” It also sowed the seeds of distrust in the AP to serve as a neutral fact-checker, largely because many failed to check what the AP was actually fact-checking. This will be the most lasting effect of this event. The immediate misreporting on the event, and the irresponsible headlines that followed, only served to erode trust in yet another institution, putting us even further behind when it comes to combating the uphill battle of misinformation online.   A recent move by Judge Tanya Chutkan suggests that the former president’s trial on January 6th may be postponed.

  Two former prosecutors claim that the federal judge presiding over the trial of former President Donald Trump, which is scheduled to start on January 6, may have given a hint that the trial will be delayed by arranging a fresh case just a few weeks later.

  The commencement date of Anthony Mastanduno’s purported Jan. 6, 2021, case was set by U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan of Washington on April 2. This is merely about three and a half weeks after she first set the trial date for the former president for March 4.

  On December 13, 2023, the court put a stop to all further developments in the lawsuit against President Trump while the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals deliberates over whether the former president is exempt from prosecution in the matter. Judge Chutkan delivered a blow to special counsel Jack Smith, who brought the accusations against the former president, when he hinted earlier this month that his trial date may be rescheduled.

Revelations from a new book, Peril, by Bob Woodward and Rob Costa, reveal just how deep the spiritual rot in the military goes. In the days after the January 6 protest, General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, promised, in the event of a war, to give aid and comfort to China. According to the Washington Post, after the Capitol protest, Milley sent secret communiques to the head of the People’s Liberation Army, promising that “If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”

In a decent country such a brazen act of collusion with a foreign power by one of the most prominent leaders of the armed forces would be met with immediate and unrelenting backlash. Instead, this betrayer of the Constitution and the principle of civilian leadership of the military is a liberal darling. At the inauguration, Joe Biden thanked Milley for undermining President Trump in the final weeks of his presidency.

Milley, before reaching out to China, sat down with the service’s top officers and demanded from them what amounted to an oath—none of them would launch a nuclear weapon without his approval. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff went behind the President’s back to secure control over the nation’s most important weapons.

Our generals are losers abroad, and grifters at home. They parrot MSNBC talking points on Twitter and grovel before Fauci. This is bad enough. But Milley’s actions show that America’s top military officers have reached another level of delusion. They fancy themselves a new praetorian guard to protect the nation—as construed by elite editorial boards—from the people’s elected representatives.

This deep state is in control. It is clear that no populist elected leader can trust America’s security establishment. As Senator Chuck Schumer warned President Trump on Rachel Maddow’s show in 2017, the intelligence community has “six ways from Sunday of getting back at you.”

The military establishment is gloating now and flexing its muscle. After the election, outgoing Syria envoy Jim Jeffrey admitted that the Pentagon and State Department had consistently lied to Trump about troop levels in Syria. Before he left office, Trump’s order to have troops out of Afghanistan by January 15 was overruled by the establishment. Trump, far from trying to start a war on his way out of office, sought to end one.

White House spokesperson Jen Psaki claims that Milley was following “constitutional orders to prevent unlawful military actions.” According to her, Trump “was implementing an insurrection.” The claim that Trump wished to start a war to distract from the election, upon which Milley based his collusion with the Chinese government, was an utter lie. Nor was Trump implementing an insurrection; the FBI has dispensed with this myth, finding that there was no coordinated plot associated with the Capitol riot.

There will be no hearings, serious journalistic investigations, or outcry from the establishment.

Milley will go unpunished.

He will retire with full honors and full pension.

The Pentagon will never reform itself from the inside.

The entire military-industrial complex (MIC) must be dismantled if we are ever to have again an armed forces consistent with the Founders’ republican virtues.

The American Right must be willing to starve the Pentagon of its lifeblood. The most important asset the people have is their bodies.  American mothers and fathers need to stop feeding their children into the machine. Heartland American boys and girls have better things to do and better leaders to serve under. The American people must go on strike until the generals once again learn to subordinate themselves to the people.

GOP politicians must assist their constituents in this noble task. They must find real courage and demand radical institutional change. This starts with deep and abiding budget cuts for the Pentagon and the rest of the MIC. The Founders’ distrust of permanent standing armies must be restored.

America should once again rely on true citizen soldiers for national defense.

The world has changed. America’s grand strategy must change with it. Our current conventional force cannot defeat insurgencies anyway. The proliferation of nuclear weapons, on the other hand, means that “Great Power conflict” is virtually impossible. There is no need to keep buying weapons systems designed to fight a redux of WWII. Our bases overseas are a relic of the liberal humanitarian world order. Having 20,000 troops in Okinawa didn’t prevent the Chinese Communist Party from using Twitter bots to stir up hysteria over Covid. Our dozen aircraft carriers didn’t stop our politicians from implementing lockdowns and vaccine passports. America’s air bases in Turkey, Germany, and Diego Garcia didn’t keep the Taliban from retaking control of their country.

America was never the world’s policeman. An empire in the name of democracy and freedom was always an idiotic idea.

Widespread gun ownership is a much better guarantor of American liberty than any SEAL team or aircraft carrier. The Militia Act of 1792 is a much better model for national defense than our current setup. The act enrolled every able-bodied male citizen between the ages of 18 and 45 into the militia. It also demanded that each of these men provide themselves with a “good musket or firelock” and “a sufficient bayonet.” Far from trying to take away firearms, the Founders demanded every American male citizen possess one.

Self-sufficiency in arms is the foundation of liberty, national sovereignty, and independence. Tyrannies never arm their citizens; republics always do. Our security as a nation should not depend on over-hyped “super soldiers.” The “silent professionals” with their podcasts, book deals, and TV appearances play, in the grand scheme of things, only a very minor role in protecting the life, liberty, and property of the American people.

The unmitigated corruption in the leadership of the armed forces is a sign of deep cultural rot. The patriotic flag-waving of the post-9/11 response has been used to great harm against the American people. An unwillingness by the political class to criticize and hold accountable those charged with defending the nation has led to our current spiritual crisis. America can’t win overseas, her generals sell out her leaders to foreign powers, and the retired members of this elite class do nothing but gobble up fat checks from the corporations they once purchased from. This is an untenable state of affairs.
