Revelations from a new book, Peril, by Bob Woodward and Rob Costa, reveal just how deep the spiritual rot in the military goes. In the days after the January 6 protest, General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, promised, in the event of a war, to give aid and comfort to China. According to the Washington Post, after the Capitol protest, Milley sent secret communiques to the head of the People’s Liberation Army, promising that “If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”
In a decent country such a brazen act of collusion with a foreign power by one of the most prominent leaders of the armed forces would be met with immediate and unrelenting backlash. Instead, this betrayer of the Constitution and the principle of civilian leadership of the military is a liberal darling. At the inauguration, Joe Biden thanked Milley for undermining President Trump in the final weeks of his presidency.
Milley, before reaching out to China, sat down with the service’s top officers and demanded from them what amounted to an oath—none of them would launch a nuclear weapon without his approval. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff went behind the President’s back to secure control over the nation’s most important weapons.
Our generals are losers abroad, and grifters at home. They parrot MSNBC talking points on Twitter and grovel before Fauci. This is bad enough. But Milley’s actions show that America’s top military officers have reached another level of delusion. They fancy themselves a new praetorian guard to protect the nation—as construed by elite editorial boards—from the people’s elected representatives.
This deep state is in control. It is clear that no populist elected leader can trust America’s security establishment. As Senator Chuck Schumer warned President Trump on Rachel Maddow’s show in 2017, the intelligence community has “six ways from Sunday of getting back at you.”
The military establishment is gloating now and flexing its muscle. After the election, outgoing Syria envoy Jim Jeffrey admitted that the Pentagon and State Department had consistently lied to Trump about troop levels in Syria. Before he left office, Trump’s order to have troops out of Afghanistan by January 15 was overruled by the establishment. Trump, far from trying to start a war on his way out of office, sought to end one.
White House spokesperson Jen Psaki claims that Milley was following “constitutional orders to prevent unlawful military actions.” According to her, Trump “was implementing an insurrection.” The claim that Trump wished to start a war to distract from the election, upon which Milley based his collusion with the Chinese government, was an utter lie. Nor was Trump implementing an insurrection; the FBI has dispensed with this myth, finding that there was no coordinated plot associated with the Capitol riot.
There will be no hearings, serious journalistic investigations, or outcry from the establishment.
Milley will go unpunished.
He will retire with full honors and full pension.
The Pentagon will never reform itself from the inside.
The entire military-industrial complex (MIC) must be dismantled if we are ever to have again an armed forces consistent with the Founders’ republican virtues.
The American Right must be willing to starve the Pentagon of its lifeblood. The most important asset the people have is their bodies. American mothers and fathers need to stop feeding their children into the machine. Heartland American boys and girls have better things to do and better leaders to serve under. The American people must go on strike until the generals once again learn to subordinate themselves to the people.
GOP politicians must assist their constituents in this noble task. They must find real courage and demand radical institutional change. This starts with deep and abiding budget cuts for the Pentagon and the rest of the MIC. The Founders’ distrust of permanent standing armies must be restored.
America should once again rely on true citizen soldiers for national defense.
The world has changed. America’s grand strategy must change with it. Our current conventional force cannot defeat insurgencies anyway. The proliferation of nuclear weapons, on the other hand, means that “Great Power conflict” is virtually impossible. There is no need to keep buying weapons systems designed to fight a redux of WWII. Our bases overseas are a relic of the liberal humanitarian world order. Having 20,000 troops in Okinawa didn’t prevent the Chinese Communist Party from using Twitter bots to stir up hysteria over Covid. Our dozen aircraft carriers didn’t stop our politicians from implementing lockdowns and vaccine passports. America’s air bases in Turkey, Germany, and Diego Garcia didn’t keep the Taliban from retaking control of their country.
America was never the world’s policeman. An empire in the name of democracy and freedom was always an idiotic idea.
Widespread gun ownership is a much better guarantor of American liberty than any SEAL team or aircraft carrier. The Militia Act of 1792 is a much better model for national defense than our current setup. The act enrolled every able-bodied male citizen between the ages of 18 and 45 into the militia. It also demanded that each of these men provide themselves with a “good musket or firelock” and “a sufficient bayonet.” Far from trying to take away firearms, the Founders demanded every American male citizen possess one.
Self-sufficiency in arms is the foundation of liberty, national sovereignty, and independence. Tyrannies never arm their citizens; republics always do. Our security as a nation should not depend on over-hyped “super soldiers.” The “silent professionals” with their podcasts, book deals, and TV appearances play, in the grand scheme of things, only a very minor role in protecting the life, liberty, and property of the American people.
The unmitigated corruption in the leadership of the armed forces is a sign of deep cultural rot. The patriotic flag-waving of the post-9/11 response has been used to great harm against the American people. An unwillingness by the political class to criticize and hold accountable those charged with defending the nation has led to our current spiritual crisis. America can’t win overseas, her generals sell out her leaders to foreign powers, and the retired members of this elite class do nothing but gobble up fat checks from the corporations they once purchased from. This is an untenable state of affairs.

Many strive to rationalize immoral actions and wickedness, prioritizing the rights of offenders over the healing of victims. Groupthink often overshadows sound reasoning in our society.
Contradictory and illogical assertions are rampant. Take a moment to reflect on the absurdity of the claim, “There are no absolutes.” Isn’t that itself an absolute statement? People may cite Scripture to support their disbelief in the Bible. When misfortune strikes, they might attribute it to your faith while conveniently ignoring similar experiences in their own lives. They may praise a culture rooted in a different faith while reaping the benefits of one established by Christians. Those who acknowledge their own hypocrisy may even attempt to rewrite history, claiming that the founding fathers of the United States were not Christians, despite their own writings affirming their faith.
God encapsulates this truth in our verse today. The world will label good as evil and evil as good, calling light darkness and darkness light. Jesus pointed out that people prefer darkness over light because their deeds are wicked (John 3:19-20). Early Christians were accused of turning the world upside down, yet in reality, they were setting it right (Acts 17:6).
Reflect: As you allow God’s Word to renew your mind, the world will increasingly feel like a strange place. In God’s kingdom, good remains good, and light shines brightly!

Recently we reported on the MLB’s angry response to three San Francisco Giants players who scribbled bible verses across their “Pride Night” uniforms in a silent protest. The incident takes place in the midst of a rising tide of popular opposition to the woke movement’s political authoritarianism. Gay pride has become synonymous with the liberal “cry-bully”: Activists who try to assert social dominance over others then play the victim when people fight back.
California State Senator and rabid gay activist Scott Wiener is the epitome of a typical woke cry-bully. He is perhaps best known as an advocate for the “kink community” and his defense of gender treatments (hormones and sex change surgeries) for children. He is also a militant supporter of sexualized LGBT propaganda in public schools.
Wiener has criticized medical facilities that refuse to give gender bending treatments to people under 19 years of age and supported measures to make California a “transgender safe haven”.
“On San Francisco Giants Pride Night — also the tenth anniversary of the Pulse nightclub massacre — several players defaced their Pride caps with a biblical passage that has been hijacked by homophobes to ‘take back’ the rainbow from LGBTQ people. The players could have displayed this passage any night of the year but chose to do it only on Pride Night.
The Giants, sadly, took no action in response, which is inconsistent with the Giants’ longstanding support for our LGBTQ community. Major League Baseball then warned the players that MLB rules bar defacement of uniforms. The Giants should publicly commit to enforcing rules around uniform defacement and should not effectively create a homophobia exemption to those rules…”
The state senator acts as if the players broke some kind of law. Baseball club rules are private business arrangements, not statutes that require the the frantic complaints of a homosexual Karen. That said, Wiener’s response to this event is quite revealing.
Biblical scripture references are not “defacement”, at least not of anything sacred. But to Wiener, the act is the same as if someone burned a Bible or a Koran. The woke seething over such a minor thing makes it clear that the LGBT movement is not a civil rights movement; that ended decades ago. Today, the LGBT movement is a political supremacy movement, and prominent athletes have every right to openly oppose it.
The pride event featured a number of LGBT promotions, including 10 same-sex married couples renewing their vows before the first pitch (what this has to do with baseball is unclear). Interestingly, the crowd turnout for Pride Night games has been crashing in the past couple years.
San Francisco Board of Supervisors member and Democrat Matt Dorsey, who is openly gay and claims to be a “person of faith”, complained on social media about the bible verses. He called the incident “disappointing in several respects” and he views the players as “problematically undisciplined”. He asserts that professional athletes’ uniforms are not a “canvas for individual self-expression – especially about politics.”
This issue is, of course, a matter between the players and their employers, not a matter of politics. However, the woke movement, which is now in decline, views their takeover of American sports as a particularly important coup. The traditionally masculine industry is now a platform to spread gay Marxist gender theory. No one would have believed it a couple decades ago, and the political left is desperate not to lose ground in this arena of the culture war.

He Has Brought In Zionist Thinker Bari Weiss To Oversee News Coverage And Eliminate Opposing Views
The son of the world’s second-richest man, with close ties to U.S. and Israeli state authority, is buying one of America’s most powerful news sites, which should terrify anyone who values a free and independent press.
Even more surprising is the Ellisons’ proposal to buy The Free Press and give Bari Weiss power over CBS’ newsroom. Skydance committed to hire Weiss as an ombudsman to combat political bias and DEI practices as part of the contract.
Weiss is notorious in the media for her staunch pro-Israel beliefs and efforts to mainstream conservative, anti-woke ideas. It appears her Middle East views got her the job. The Financial Times reported, “Weiss has won over Ellison partly by taking a pro-Israel stance, according to people familiar with the matter.”
One insider told The New York Times that Weiss will be a “key voice” at CBS News and “an influential role in shaping the editorial sensibilities”.
Some fear a pro-Israel censor, mirroring TikTok’s previous occurrences. The social media company hired veteran IDF soldier and Israel advocate Erica Mindel to supervise its online hate speech policies, including antisemitism.
Mindel is hardly the first former Israeli official to join the firm in power. A MintPress News investigation found that TikTok engaged veteran Israeli intelligence commander Reut Medalion as its worldwide incident manager in November 2023. Given what Israel was doing in Gaza, one may question what “global incidents” the ex-spy was working on.
Weiss first became famous while she was in college. There, she started a group that tried to get Muslim and Arab teachers fired by accusing them of being racist against Jews. The most famous of these was the Jordanian scholar Joseph Massad, who Weiss said scared her and other pro-Israel students during class. It didn’t work, but it made Weiss well known. After she graduated from college, she got well-paying jobs in Israeli media, which led to jobs as a writer at The Wall Street Journal and then The New York Times.
Weiss brought reactionary professors to the attention of a larger, more liberal audience at The Times. She wrote an important piece called “Meet the Renegades of the Intellectual Dark Web” about a group of people, such as Jordan Peterson, Sam Harris, Dave Rubin, Douglas Murray, and Bret Weinstein. These people have all pushed conservative or even far-right ideas, and almost all of them have been strong supporters of Israel’s actions in Gaza and other places.
But in 2020, she quit her job at the New York Times in a big way, saying that the paper was an echo chamber for leftist ideas. She started a Substack blog the next year, which she later changed the name of to “The Free Press.”
Journalist Branko Marcetic has said that The Free Press has been one of the loudest backers of Israeli actions from the start, spreading what he calls “insidious propaganda” and “outright disinformation.”
Over 50 Palestinian civilians, including children, were killed in 2021. Weiss defended this by saying that it was “Zionism’s dream turned into the reality of self-determination” by a state that was “surrounded by enemies making hard decisions about how to protect its citizens.” She used to say that Muslim immigration was to blame for the rise in racism in Europe.
The Free Press lied in May 2024 when they said that the UN had “admitted” that the number of civilian deaths in Gaza was much lower than what had been said before. It said that widespread hunger is “pro-Hamas propaganda,” even though President Trump himself has admitted that it is happening. And it said that an Israeli killing of Palestinians looking for help did not happen.
It has also tried many times to keep Israel from being blamed for attacking health centers by saying that Hamas might have been the one who destroyed the al-Ahli Hospital. Still, Weiss seemed to defend attacks on other Gaza hospitals.
“Every Palestinian knows [the al-Shifa hospital] is full of [armed militants], but nobody can talk,” she wrote on Twitter, referring to a Free Press interview that said it was with a Gaza resident who did not want to be named.

It’s even possible that Weiss’s acts killed people. People in Gaza, including writer and teacher Refaat Alareer, told a joke in October 2023 in reaction to the crazy (and false) claim that Palestinian militants had burned an Israeli baby alive during the October 7 attacks.
“This is Refaat Alareer joking about whether an Israeli baby that was burned alive in an oven was cooked ‘with or without baking powder,’” Weiss wrote.
A lot of people were mean to Alareer, and he said that Weiss’s words had made him a target. He said, “If Israeli bombs kill me or hurt my family, I’ll blame Bari Weiss.” He also said, “Many crazy Israeli soldiers who are already bombing Gaza will believe these lies and smears and act on them.” A little over a month later, Alareer was killed by an Israeli missile.
Wikipedia is another thing that Weiss wants to attack. The Anti-Defamation League is a pro-Israel pressure group that was called an unreliable source by an online reference. Since then, The Free Press has been fighting against it. To get Wikipedia to become more pro-Israel, The Free Press and Trump’s Department of Justice are working together to take away its nonprofit identity. They call it a “propaganda site.”
Author Ryan Grim wrote, “Bari could not have picked a more Orwellian term for her authoritarian news outlet taking a wrecking ball to Western institutions on behalf of Israel.”
Venture capitalists like Marc Andreessen and David Sacks have invested in the Free Press, and Howard Schultz, who used to be CEO of Starbucks, has also given money to the paper.
Skydance is being told that the price for selling what is now mostly a Substack blog is between $200 million and $250 million, which is a very high price. To give you some background, Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, paid $250 million for The Washington Post in 2013. It is one of the most popular and important newspapers in the world.
Big Changes at CBSAlthough Weiss’s job at CBS News seems simple, the company is not really supportive of the Palestinian cause. The network kept playing very questionable Anti-Defamation League claims about a supposed wave of antisemitism moving across America. They also kept using Israeli talking points, like calling the Gaza Health Ministry “Hamas-run.”
A report by MintPress News found that it has also hired a lot of former Israeli soldiers and politicians to work on its news stories. Gili Malinsky, for example, was a captain in the IDF’s public relations department. He was in charge of a group whose job it was to tell the world about the Israeli military. Before she became a staff writer at CBS, she also worked for Friends of the IDF.
“Resistance” Media Support MAGA
The Ellison CBS deal is part of a bigger trend in the U.S. media landscape, where the Trump administration’s tough methods make the press give in to its demands. Earlier this year, CNN officials said they would change their political stance from pro-Democrat to more moderate. They told their employees not to oppose Trump. Mark Thompson, the network’s CEO, met with editors many times in January and told them to be “fair-minded” with Trump and not to “pre-judge” his second term in office. Anchors were also advised not to “show outrage” during Trump’s swearing-in. Several important CNN personalities, such as anchor Jim Acosta (who lost his White House press credentials after a fight with Trump), left the network.
Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, two MSNBC anchors who were widely considered as the faces of the Democratic “resistance” to Trump throughout his first term, said publicly that they were revising their editorial stance toward the president. Brzezinski told their viewers, “Joe and I realized it’s time to do something different.” She went on to say, “That starts with not just talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him.” She said that they had gone to Mar-a-Lago to meet the new president in person.
Other networks that didn’t change have died. The Trump administration canceled funding to NPR and PBS earlier this week. Both networks may have to close soon. Voice of America went off the air for a while because of a similar power grab by Trump, but it came back in June with new leadership and a new political point of view.
Social media has also changed in a similar way. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, said in January that his platforms (Facebook and Instagram) will be “prioritizing free speech” and moving their content moderation functions from California to Texas, where there is less worry about “the bias of our teams.”
He also said that Trump supporter and former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Joel Kaplan would take over as the company’s President of Global Affairs from Nick Clegg, who used to be the U.K. Liberal Democrat Deputy Prime Minister. Dana White, the CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and a close friend of Trump, was named to Meta’s board of directors. This was perceived by practically everyone as a very public bow to the MAGA movement.
Elon Musk, a big Trump fan and unofficial cabinet member, bought Twitter in 2022. Since then, Twitter has become more openly right-wing, just like Facebook. Musk’s actions, such openly supporting far-right and other racist views on the site, caused millions of liberal users to leave and relocate to smaller sites like Bluesky or Mastodon.
The Trump administration is still after TikTok, even though the company has hired State Department officials, Israeli spies, and troops to operate its business.
In the end, the fact that the son of the second-richest billionaire in the world is hiring a provocateur who is very pro-Israel and has built a career spreading questionable stories and stirring up anti-Muslim sentiment to help run one of the country’s most important newsrooms should worry anyone who cares about independent journalism.
The CBS News/Bari Weiss story shows how oligarchic media dominance and pro-Israel lobbying are both becoming more powerful in public debate. It is a disturbing sign of the greater deterioration of journalistic freedom in the U.S., as state-aligned forces try to silence opposition and keep support for Israel’s actions in Gaza.

I have documented how Corporate Christianity has reached this point in history, by not following the teaching of the Scriptures, which includes both the Old Testament, as well as the New Testament.
The English word “church,” for example, is not the proper translation of the original text of the New Testament for the Greek word ekklesia, which means an “assembly” or “congregation.” Ekklesia is almost synonymous with another common Greek word used in the Bible, sunagōgē, which is not even translated into English in most places it is used in the Bible, but just used as a “transliteration” by adopting the Greek word into the alphabet of the English language as “synagogue.”
But ekklesia and sunagōgē have basically identical meanings: “assembly” or “congregation.”
(The Spanish language also uses the method of “transliteration” for the Greek word “ekklesia”, using “iglesia,” instead of translating it, for example.)
In the English language translations of the Bible, “church” usually is understood today as “Christian Churches” while “Synagogue” is usually understood as “Jewish Synagogues”.
But in the original Greek language of the New Testament, they can be used interchangeably, and when the passage does not make sense to modern English readers because of these prejudiced views based on modern culture, they usually end up translating the Greek word more appropriately.
One of these places is in James 2:2 which reads in most English translations: “For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in…” (James 2:2)
Since “synagogue” is generally understood in modern culture as places of worship for Jews who have not accepted Jesus Christ as the Messiah, it was not appropriate in this passage in James, since he is obviously writing to those who were believers in Jesus Christ, and they instead translated the word properly as “assembly.”
In a similar way, “ekklesia“, which is usually translated as “church” and understood in modern culture as a meeting place for “Christians”, in places where the same Greek word is used for meetings that were not religious meetings, the English translators could not use the word “church.”
We can see this in Acts chapter 19, where ekklesia is used of a mob scene in a theater, where a local politician had to come to the meeting to dismiss the crowd. It was not a religious gathering like modern-day “churches,” so the English word “church” could not be used to translate ekklesia.
Now some cried out one thing, some another, for the assembly was in confusion, and most of them did not know why they had come together. Some of the crowd prompted Alexander, whom the Jews had put forward. And Alexander, motioning with his hand, wanted to make a defense to the crowd.
But when they recognized that he was a Jew, for about two hours they all cried out with one voice, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”
And when the town clerk had quieted the crowd, he said, “Men of Ephesus, who is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple keeper of the great Artemis, and of the sacred stone that fell from the sky? Seeing then that these things cannot be denied, you ought to be quiet and do nothing rash. For you have brought these men here who are neither sacrilegious nor blasphemers of our goddess. If therefore Demetrius and the craftsmen with him have a complaint against anyone, the courts are open, and there are proconsuls. Let them bring charges against one another. But if you seek anything further, it shall be settled in the regular assembly. (Acts 19:32-39)
The more proper English translation was used here as “assembly”. Note that “Jews” were present for this ekklesia, Jews who had become believers in Jesus Christ.
So when we come to these English verses in the book of Revelation, the last book of the New Testament which is a book of prophecy about the “end times,” we read:
“‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich) and the slander of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.” (Revelation 2:9)
And:
“Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie-behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you.” (Revelation 3:9)
One would be completely accurate and correct to translate the Greek word “sunagōgē” in these verses of Revelation as “churches of Satan” to be consistent with how the rest of the New Testament is translated into English, although “Assemblies of Satan” would be the most accurate if we are being true to the original Greek text.

However, since there is an actual “Church of Satan” today operating in the U.S., which does not claim to follow the Bible or Christianity at all, and is actually opposed to them, I choose to distinguish and refer to the modern Christian Corporate Churches as “Christian Churches of Satan,” as I used in the title of this article.
I have also previously documented how the English word “Jew” has multiple meanings in the English language, which can refer to an ethnic group, a religion, a citizen of the country of Israel, etc.
One of the Biblical meanings of the English word Jew is “a believer in Jesus Christ,” which is how Paul used it in multiple places in the New Testament.
For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from God. (Romans 2:28-29)
Consider Abraham: “He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham.
The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the “good news” in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”
So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. (Galatians 3:6-9)
The “seed of Abraham”, from whom it was prophesied in Genesis chapter 12 that “All nations will be blessed through you” – which means not only the Jewish nation, but ALL nations, are those who have the same faith as Abraham, and his descendant, Jesus Christ.
It is a spiritual seed, based on faith, not genealogy, race, or religious affiliation. This point is so important, that it is repeated in many places in the New Testament. For a full discussion on this issue, please read:

This message of the true believers who have the same faith as Abraham is the essence of the “Good News” or “gospel” message that is the core of the entire New Testament collection of writings in the Bible. It means that anyone and everyone who is a human being walking this earth, can have a direct relationship with God, regardless of race, citizenship, religion, gender, or any other way of classifying human beings, by becoming part of the spiritual seed of Abraham through faith in Jesus Christ.
Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law. You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:15-29)
This “Good News” message which is the heart of the ancient New Testament writings of the Bible, is the reason why Zionism, the belief that a certain ethnic group of people are the “chosen people” of God based simply on their ethnicity, is a teaching of demons in the Christian Churches of Satan by the Anti-Christs.
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons (1 Timothy 4:1).
This is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. (1 John 2:18)
The Christian Zionists today are being led by the spirit of Satan as Anti-Christs, which is today being manifested as hate and prejudice bigotry, as many (but certainly not all of them) are now calling for the compete genocide of other nations, such as the Palestinians, many of whom are (non-Zionist) Christians, in direct violation of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

So instead of spending more time refuting not only Zionism but also Corporate Christianity, let me instead give the biblical, spiritual principle of why so many Christians are deceived today.
This is what the apostle John wrote in the New Testament portion of the Bible:
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life-is not from the Father but is from the world.
And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.
But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
[T]he anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie-just as it has taught you, abide in him. (1 John 2:15-21; 27)
The English word “anoint” used by John here is chrisma in the original Greek language. It was used for the coronation of Kings, and in the Greek translation of the Old Testament it was used for appointing the high priest who served in the Temple.
It is also the word group that gives us Christos in the Greek, which is the Greek translation of “Messiah” in the Hebrew, and is also used for the second half of the name of Jesus, “Jesus Christ.”
Jesus is the “anointed” one from God, the “Messiah.”
I have had many well-meaning Christians email me over the years trying to “inform” me that I am using the wrong name for Jesus, and then explaining why they think, or more than likely what they were told, is the proper name to use for the Messiah.
Well if you want to follow the ancient biblical original texts, this is what was written for the name of Jesus: Ἰησοῦς Χριστός. It can be transliterated into our alphabet as Iēsous Christos from the Greek, or “Jesus Christ” in modern English text. Any other spelling one chooses to use is an interpretation and a matter of someone’s opinion, and NOT what is written in the original texts of the Bible.
John clearly states here that when one is “anointed” by the “Holy One,” which is the Spirit of Christ or the “Holy Spirit,” then one knows “the truth,” and the “anointed” ones have “no need that anyone should teach” them.
Whoops! If this is true, then all the “Pastors” and huge organizational structures that build “churches” are actually no longer needed to teach people about Jesus, because these “anointed ones” have a direct relationship with Jesus Christ (as opposed to simply an intellectual knowledge), and have no need for human teachers/pastors/priests etc. to teach them what the Bible says. They can just read the Bible for themselves and be guided by God and the Holy Spirit to “know the truth,” who is Jesus Christ.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” (John 14:6-7)

This “anointing” is referred to in other ways in the New Testament, such as being “born of the seed of Abraham,” “being born again,” “baptized in the Holy Spirit,” (note: “baptism” is also a transliteration from the Greek word, and if translated into English would mean “immersed”) etc.

Follow the Money
So that’s the spiritual reason why so many Christians are deceived today by Zionism.
The other reason is that Corporate Christianity is a $TRILLION market, employing millions of people, and to dare to oppose Zionism and not support Israel is to potentially lose your career and source of income, and be ridiculed by the Christian Community.
A study conducted in 2016 estimated that religion in America, which is primarily Zionist Christianity, was “worth $1.2 trillion, more than the combined revenue of the top 10 technology companies in the country, including Apple, Amazon, and Google.” (Source.)
“MinistryWatch” listed the “100 largest Christian ministries in the U.S.” in 2020. (Source.)
Just these 100 businesses alone total over $23 billion: $23,844,696,705.
Three of these top 5 Christian businesses are universities where Zionism is taught, with each school taking in over $1 billion in revenue each year. When you consider all the Zionist Christian publishing companies producing news, films, TV, books and educational materials, as well as Christian “Pastors” who graduated from these Zionist schools preaching Zionism from the pulpit every week, it is easy to see how the Zionist propaganda infiltrates and saturates American culture and Conservative Right-wing politics.
The leaders at the top of this industry are clearly Freemasons, and if they are successful in destroying the current Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and replacing it with a Masonic “Jewish” Temple, you can be sure all the Zionist Christians will shout for joy in their service to Satan.
Jesus prophesied that Herod’s Temple in Jerusalem would be destroyed when he was still walking the earth, which it was in 70 AD.
But he also stated that the new “temple” would be his “body,” after he was raised from the dead and his Spirit resided in the “body of believers,” a spiritual “temple” for the “anointed” ones.
Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22)
As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”
So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.”
They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:4-9)
The believers in Jesus Christ, those who are born spiritually into the Seed of Abraham, are now the “chosen people”, not based on ethnicity or religious affiliation, but by our faith in Jesus Christ.

Revelations from a new book, Peril, by Bob Woodward and Rob Costa, reveal just how deep the spiritual rot in the military goes. In the days after the January 6 protest, General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, promised, in the event of a war, to give aid and comfort to China. According to the Washington Post, after the Capitol protest, Milley sent secret communiques to the head of the People’s Liberation Army, promising that “If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”
In a decent country such a brazen act of collusion with a foreign power by one of the most prominent leaders of the armed forces would be met with immediate and unrelenting backlash. Instead, this betrayer of the Constitution and the principle of civilian leadership of the military is a liberal darling. At the inauguration, Joe Biden thanked Milley for undermining President Trump in the final weeks of his presidency.
Milley, before reaching out to China, sat down with the service’s top officers and demanded from them what amounted to an oath—none of them would launch a nuclear weapon without his approval. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff went behind the President’s back to secure control over the nation’s most important weapons.
Our generals are losers abroad, and grifters at home. They parrot MSNBC talking points on Twitter and grovel before Fauci. This is bad enough. But Milley’s actions show that America’s top military officers have reached another level of delusion. They fancy themselves a new praetorian guard to protect the nation—as construed by elite editorial boards—from the people’s elected representatives.
This deep state is in control. It is clear that no populist elected leader can trust America’s security establishment. As Senator Chuck Schumer warned President Trump on Rachel Maddow’s show in 2017, the intelligence community has “six ways from Sunday of getting back at you.”
The military establishment is gloating now and flexing its muscle. After the election, outgoing Syria envoy Jim Jeffrey admitted that the Pentagon and State Department had consistently lied to Trump about troop levels in Syria. Before he left office, Trump’s order to have troops out of Afghanistan by January 15 was overruled by the establishment. Trump, far from trying to start a war on his way out of office, sought to end one.
White House spokesperson Jen Psaki claims that Milley was following “constitutional orders to prevent unlawful military actions.” According to her, Trump “was implementing an insurrection.” The claim that Trump wished to start a war to distract from the election, upon which Milley based his collusion with the Chinese government, was an utter lie. Nor was Trump implementing an insurrection; the FBI has dispensed with this myth, finding that there was no coordinated plot associated with the Capitol riot.
There will be no hearings, serious journalistic investigations, or outcry from the establishment.
Milley will go unpunished.
He will retire with full honors and full pension.
The Pentagon will never reform itself from the inside.
The entire military-industrial complex (MIC) must be dismantled if we are ever to have again an armed forces consistent with the Founders’ republican virtues.
The American Right must be willing to starve the Pentagon of its lifeblood. The most important asset the people have is their bodies. American mothers and fathers need to stop feeding their children into the machine. Heartland American boys and girls have better things to do and better leaders to serve under. The American people must go on strike until the generals once again learn to subordinate themselves to the people.
GOP politicians must assist their constituents in this noble task. They must find real courage and demand radical institutional change. This starts with deep and abiding budget cuts for the Pentagon and the rest of the MIC. The Founders’ distrust of permanent standing armies must be restored.
America should once again rely on true citizen soldiers for national defense.
The world has changed. America’s grand strategy must change with it. Our current conventional force cannot defeat insurgencies anyway. The proliferation of nuclear weapons, on the other hand, means that “Great Power conflict” is virtually impossible. There is no need to keep buying weapons systems designed to fight a redux of WWII. Our bases overseas are a relic of the liberal humanitarian world order. Having 20,000 troops in Okinawa didn’t prevent the Chinese Communist Party from using Twitter bots to stir up hysteria over Covid. Our dozen aircraft carriers didn’t stop our politicians from implementing lockdowns and vaccine passports. America’s air bases in Turkey, Germany, and Diego Garcia didn’t keep the Taliban from retaking control of their country.
America was never the world’s policeman. An empire in the name of democracy and freedom was always an idiotic idea.
Widespread gun ownership is a much better guarantor of American liberty than any SEAL team or aircraft carrier. The Militia Act of 1792 is a much better model for national defense than our current setup. The act enrolled every able-bodied male citizen between the ages of 18 and 45 into the militia. It also demanded that each of these men provide themselves with a “good musket or firelock” and “a sufficient bayonet.” Far from trying to take away firearms, the Founders demanded every American male citizen possess one.
Self-sufficiency in arms is the foundation of liberty, national sovereignty, and independence. Tyrannies never arm their citizens; republics always do. Our security as a nation should not depend on over-hyped “super soldiers.” The “silent professionals” with their podcasts, book deals, and TV appearances play, in the grand scheme of things, only a very minor role in protecting the life, liberty, and property of the American people.
The unmitigated corruption in the leadership of the armed forces is a sign of deep cultural rot. The patriotic flag-waving of the post-9/11 response has been used to great harm against the American people. An unwillingness by the political class to criticize and hold accountable those charged with defending the nation has led to our current spiritual crisis. America can’t win overseas, her generals sell out her leaders to foreign powers, and the retired members of this elite class do nothing but gobble up fat checks from the corporations they once purchased from. This is an untenable state of affairs.
