Watchman: Daily Devotional, A Wicked Person’s Corrupt Sinful Nature Actively at Work in Them Means They Will Continually Come Up With New Ways to Do Evil and Bad Things (Romans 1:30)
This is why the world we live in is becoming increasingly evil as the end of the age draws near, as Jesus predicted in Matthew 24:12 that lawlessness and evil would increase, leading many people to harden their hearts.
And the multitude of evil perpetrated by ungodly people living according to their evil desires is constantly inventing new ways to fulfill and satisfy their sinful fleshly desires.
But true believers pursuing righteousness should not be surprised by this, as Jesus Christ foretold this a long time ago, and even the Old Testament predicts that evil will be rampant before the end of the world, because Satan knows his time is short.
If they continue to reject God's love by living in deliberate sin, hell awaits the vast majority of these wicked individuals with eternal chains of darkness.
The Bible warns sternly in Revelations 21:8 that all wicked and ungodly people will be cast into the lake of fire if they do not repent and turn from their sins.
The good news is that you do not have to go there because today is the day of salvation, and you can repent today and receive eternal life and escape God's wrath that will befall all unrepentant sinners who rejected Christ because of their love for sin. Please do not be that person.
Prayer:
I have nothing to fear with You on my side. I will be strong and courageous even in hard times. I will not be terrified or discouraged, for the Lord my God will be with me wherever I go (Joshua 1:9). You will never leave me or forsake me (Joshua 1:5). I do not need to figure everything out. You already know the best plan for my life. I will not try any man-made method to do only what You can do. Show me Your supernatural power. Teach me how to walk by faith and pray breakthrough prayers. I choose to have faith in Your ability to break through every obstacle in my life. Just like Joshua, You will give me the land and every place where my feet step (Joshua 1:3). Through you we push back our enemies; through your name we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever (Psalm 44:5-8).
Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand (Psalm 16:5-11). In Jesus name, amen.

The Watchman
In the Bible, the Watchman is responsible for keeping watch and warning others of potential danger or impending judgment. The role is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, particularly in the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 33:6, God says to the prophet Ezekiel, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
