No God No Peace–Mass Shooting Leaves Many Dead, Wounded in Alabama
A mass shooting at a 16th birthday party has shook a small Alabama town, with reports of four to twelve people killed and nearly two dozen injured.The police have been extremely tight-lipped about the shooting on Saturday night. Law enforcement held a press conference after more than 12 hours, but they still refused to release any additional information.
“There were four lives-not fatalities, but lives-that were tragically lost in this incident.” “There have also been numerous injuries,” Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Jeremy Burkett said. According to HNewsWire sources, a gunman opened fire inside a crowded dance studio in downtown Dadeville, Alabama, a town of about 3,000 people.
The majority, if not all, of the victims are thought to be teenagers. Photographs of the crime scene revealed a scene of bloody carnage, with at least six lifeless bodies on the floor. “The majority of these were high school students from a number of our local schools.” “Many were from my Dadeville community,” Ben Hayes, pastor of First Baptist Church Dadeville, told me.
Hayes also serves as the police department’s and the high school football team’s chaplain. One of the victims, he said, was a football player.
“I mourn with the people of Dadeville and my fellow Alabamans this morning.” “Violent crime has no place in our state, and we are keeping law enforcement informed as details emerge,” Gov. Kay Ivey said. Annette Allen told NPR that the attack happened at her granddaughter’s 16th birthday party. Allen’s grandson, a high school athlete, was killed in the shooting, while her daughter was injured and taken to a nearby hospital.“This is a small community, and they just wanted to enjoy the birthday party,” Allen explained to NPR affiliate Troy Public Radio. “We had to stand there and wait for the bodies to be brought out.”
Several hundred teenagers are rioting in downtown Chicago and police officers are describing the scene as “complete anarchy.”
At least three people have been shot and a number of transit workers have been attacked and beaten by the mob. Video shows young thugs mounting cars and buses – terrorizing motorists.
At least one news crew was forced to take cover to avoid being shot and Northwestern University has been placed on lockdown to protect students. There are also reports that teens are trying to force their way into the Art Institute of Chicago.
“It’s heartbreaking, kids fighting, chasing each other, some of them got guns,” an eyewitness told NBC News. “It’s really heartbreaking when one of them actually gets hurt, and that’s unfortunate, happened last night.”
“It was a lot of cops here, but they were still outnumbered,” the witness added. “There were so many teenagers that showed up, and they tried to keep the peace and keep them under control.”

Due to a credible threat, the California State Capitol building was evacuated on Thursday morning local time, according to police.
The California Highway Patrol informed the Senate of “a threat they consider to be credible involving the Capitol,” according to a letter distributed to all senators and senate staff.
“CHP and security partners are present in higher numbers in the Capitol area, and are alert of the situation,” the letter continues.
Police asked all senators and staff to “remain situationally aware, and report any suspicious activity.”
Despite the evacuation, the area around the Capitol was relatively calm, according to Fox 5.
The evacuation comes just hours after a “shelter in place” was issued at The Catholic University of America as authorities conducted a “systematic search” for a reported threat.
According to DC News Now, the order was issued after police received calls about a threat.
