Biden Admin Halts Anti-CCP Espionage Initiative Because It’s “Racist”.

The recent decision by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to withdraw the “China Initiative,” a Trump-era effort to disrupt Chinese Communist Party (CCP) economic espionage, is “another show of weakness” by the Biden administration, according to a US lawmaker.

“The CCP has stolen trillions of dollars in American intellectual property, destroyed millions of American jobs, and transformed American students and researchers into Chinese spies,” said Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) in a statement released on Feb. 23.

“Yet today, the Biden administration stated that the project entrusted with combating China’s extraordinary internal sabotage and aggression will be canceled because it is racist.”

He also described the program’s termination as “another example of weakness from a government more concerned with being politically acceptable than safeguarding Americans.”

Following a review of its policies prompted by charges of racial discrimination and mishandled cases, the Department of Justice announced the closure of the China Initiative on Feb. 23.

The Trump administration launched the program in 2018 to combat national security concerns posed by the CCP’s employment of espionage, fraud, and cybercrime against the US. Academics and Chinese Americans, on the other hand, were outspoken in their criticism of the program, claiming that it was discriminatory and harmed research.

The assessment, led by Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olsen, found no evidence to support charges of bias, but the “perception” of bias was severe enough to warrant the program’s cancellation.

“Make no mistake,” Olsen added in a statement, “we will be unrelenting in defending our country against China.”

“However, our analysis convinced us that a new approach is required to address the most serious dangers posed by a variety of hostile nation-states.”

The program, according to Olsen, would be replaced with a larger approach concentrating on a variety of challenges posed by nation-states.

When the program was first launched, Ian Prior, who was the DOJ deputy director of public affairs at the time, claimed it was critical in exposing the CCP’s massive theft of research and technology.

Prior told The Epoch Times during a Feb. 24 interview at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Florida, that incidents like the CCP’s attempt to acquire genetically modified rice revealed how widespread such espionage is.

“I believe that is precisely their aim,” Prior said, “where [the CCP] are attempting to basically steal our intellectual property in order to grow their power, production, and technology.”

He went on to say that the CCP differs from other possible rivals like Russia in that it does not pursue a policy of spreading disruption and dissension, preferring instead to skim and steal consistently.

“China’s model is to go out there and take from America to enhance themselves,” Prior remarked. “Stolen trade secrets, stolen intellectual property, having scientists work for corporations and then sending it back to China.”

“That will eventually create a situation where the intellectual property and the economic worth of the things that are happening in America will be transferred to China via espionage.”

Prior’s comments reflected those of specialists such as Timothy Heath, a senior defense analyst for the Rand Corporation, who stated the China Initiative was required to protect the United States from CCP espionage.

“The CCP has made no secret of their goal to control the most cutting-edge technology and industries, and they have directed their bureaucracies and officials to acquire such technologies by any means necessary,” Heath added.

Despite Cotton’s comments, Prior expressed some optimism that the decision to end the China Initiative was not partisan, and that the US will seek to reduce its internal conflicts and focus more on the rest of the globe.

“I would certainly hope that political ideology and political partisanship wouldn’t play a role in the Department of Justice’s national security operations, specifically when it comes to our adversaries,” Prior said.

“Nobody really thinks about these kinds of issues until we get a situation like we’re in now, where you have Russia and Ukraine,” he added. “It’s generally the way it has always worked in America, where they focus inward, as opposed to worrying about the global scene.”

It’s no surprise that the Biden administration has deemed this initiative “racist”, as a scapegoat to not face the inevitable threat that China poses. The international espionage conducted by the CCP will continue unchecked until their plan to become technologically autonomous is fulfilled.

We can expect a falling empire like the CCP to attempt to drag everyone down with them, because that’s what cowards do. If they don’t find the technological autonomy they’re looking for, and fast, they’ll be knocking down Taiwan’s back door demanding cooperation. These are the details required to have a firm grasp on the reality and restraints foreign nations must impose on each other to protect their own self interest. Thousands marched in other regions of Canada on Saturday, Feb. 19, to demand an end to the pandemic restrictions, while police put down a protest against COVID-19 regulations in Ottawa.

Protesters opposing the federal COVID-19 rules caused another closure of the Pacific Highway border crossing in British Columbia on Feb. 19, when the RCMP cordoned off the area around the intersection of 8th Avenue and 176 Street in Surrey to all traffic. Following the arrest of 16 persons on February 13 and 14, authorities began action to disperse the prior demonstration at the Washington State border crossing.

In a statement, Sgt. Elenore Sturko, a public relations officer with the Surrey RCMP, said, “It’s been a very busy day for our personnel on the field, and those supporting operations from behind the scenes.”

“However, our work here is far from done, and the public should expect a police presence in the days and nights ahead.”

The Surrey RCMP announced on Twitter on Feb. 20 that demonstrators had left and that routes near the Pacific Highway border crossing had reopened. “Traffic is currently flowing in all directions on 176 Street, and the public can use the border crossing.” “Vehicle road checks will continue to be conducted,” police stated.

Thousands of people marched through the streets of Calgary on Feb. 19 as part of a United for Freedom event, which began at Central Memorial Park and ended at “Freedom Mile 17th Avenue,” according to the organizers.

According to the Facebook community group Calgary Freedom Central, “This is a peaceful, lawful protest in solidarity with Canadians around the country demanding for an immediate halt to all government [COVID-19] demands and the return to freedom in our nation today.”

Thousands of demonstrators marched to the streets in Quebec on the same day, demanding that all COVID-19 public health regulations be repealed.

It was the province’s second massive protest over public health initiatives in two weeks. Many people demanded that the provincially declared health emergency be lifted and that school-aged children be required to wear masks.

One of the protest organizers, Bernard Gauthier, described the action as “calm” and expressed his hope that the provincial administration would reciprocate without outlining any demands.

Some demonstrators also demanded assurances that the vaccine passport system would not be reinstated.

Following the previous demonstration in early February, the Quebec government declared that the COVID-19 vaccine mandate would be phased down gradually by March 14. However, Health Minister Christian Dube stated that if a fresh wave of COVID-19 is needed, the vaccine passport system will be reinstated.

On the 19th of February, Quebec City police announced three arrests near the provincial assembly.

“The majority of demonstrators are respecting and honoring their agreement to wish to demonstrate peacefully,” the police said in a French-language social media statement.

Protesters gathered in a rally for the third week in a row in Toronto’s downtown area, while police put up significant road closures around the city’s downtown area to resist the public health measures.

The Toronto police claimed in a social media post on Feb. 19 that the decision to restrict more routes was made after numerous trucks entered the city “to cause disruption” on the night of Feb. 18, and they wanted to prevent more from entering.

These protests, which took place across Canada on Saturday, were in support of the big “Freedom Convoy 2022” event in Ottawa.

The convoy started as a protest against the federal government’s vaccine mandate, which requires truckers entering back into Canada from the United States to be fully vaccinated in order to avoid a 14-day quarantine upon entrance. As numerous convoys of vehicles converged in Ottawa to conduct a protest on Jan. 29, many people from around the world joined in to call for an end to all COVID-19 mandates and restrictions, it quickly grew into a national—and then global—movement.

On the morning of February 20, Ottawa police reported that they had detained 191 persons and towed 57 vehicles as part of ongoing operations in the nation’s capital to disperse demonstrators opposing COVID-19 directives.

Despite this news as we know the tyranny will not come to an end. The subversion of the rule of law has trickled down from corrupt politicians and the elite. Money and power binds all of these tyrants together, and there seems to be a common trend among those who haven’t begun their walk with God, and that is they find exactly what is broken about them, slap a label on it and carry the baggage. Yet nobody wants to hear the message God intended for us to hear. That by faith in Jesus, your baggage can be turned to dust just like everything around us. People can no longer fit in our current socioeconomic systems anymore. The individual mind has more access to information than ever before and many don’t trust professionals because they’ve got all the answers in the palm of their hand. Why would you let some bozo tell you what to do if you’ve got an infinite amount of ways to prove them wrong?

Pride, is what is keeping secular society at bay and far from salvation. The people have practically been programmed to believe that people of Christian faith are anti-science, and lack proper understanding of the nature of our world. When the obvious truth is, science is simply the study of God’s work. And when we see a mature technocratic dystopia arise, you’ll know for sure that man wants to create his own universes. And to play the role of God. This is merely a facet to what i believe is a mass awakening of anti-Christ spirits.
