Strong Delusion

CHARLIE KIRK… A STRONG DELUSION?… 2Thes.2:11,12

Disregarding all the anomalies in the events surrounding Charlie Kirk’s show in Utah. And there are many. Our focus today will be on how it is being used to further the strong delusion Paul taught about in 2Thes.2. Because our focus is on the kingdom of God. And not on the kingdom men are trying to build.

In Mt.24 Jesus said there will be many false christs. And Christ means anointed. So there are many who say they are anointed to proclaim the Biblical Jesus that are not.

So what Jesus was really saying was not that there would be many Jesus’. He was saying that there would be many people claiming to be anointed that in their false anointing are proclaiming a false Jesus. A Jesus of their own making. And most likely one that was revealed to them by Satan himself. One that is not found in the Bible.

It is in how we define Biblically what it means for man to be saved. To be Biblical it must be derived from what the Bible says it is that makes a man saved.

And Paul tells us in Rom.10:9,10 that it is when we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus. And believe in our hearts that He has raised from the dead. We are saved. Jesus said it is when a man is born again that he can see and will now inherit the kingdom of God.

But, can we believe in just any Jesus and still be saved? Does Mormonism proclaim the Biblical Jesus? Do the so called Jehovah’s witnesses? Does Islam? So of course the answer is no.

A home next to ours has recently become occupied by a family that claims that real Christian’s don’t talk about their faith with others. They just live it. However, when asked what it means to witness as we are told to in the Bible they could offer no response. You know why? Because it exposed their delusion.

And as it has turned out the family actually worships Satan. Expressing their displeasure with our proclamation of faith in the Biblical Jesus they began putting up all sorts of symbols of witchery all over their property. Exposing themselves for the unbelieving God haters they really are.

What we are seeing in the world today in the crescendo of voices is many saying they are anointed to tell you which Jesus is the Biblical Jesus. And like the new “neighbors” who reject the Biblical Jesus and His call to the great commission, most are telling you about a Jesus that is wholly incompatible with the Jesus of the Bible. Even worshipping Satan while claiming to be believers in Jesus.

Most churches telling you that He came, died, rose, and lives as a fulfillment of 1Cor.15:1-4 to meet what are the demands of moloch sacrifices. The kind pagans believed their god required of his followers. The bloody and torturous death of the innocent to appease his wrath. Sound familiar? A ritual that decidedly places their Jesus in the camp of the false gods all pagans worship.

And one that at this time is making a resurgence in the hearts and minds of many who have previously forsaken religion all together. And specifically the Christian religion. Only to now through the emotions of Charlie Kirk’s death join themselves with the harlot of Rev.17.

But, what are they really joining themselves to? The same false god the ancient pagans worshiped by placing their infant children into his burning hands. A sacrifice that was given to appease moloch’s wrath against them for some perceived wrong they had done. Such is their belief about the Jesus they teach.

This Jesus is the Jesus of Roman Catholicism. The harlot of Rev.17. Codified by her adoption of the teachings of Augustine being used in the creation of her catechism. The catechism itself proclaiming his teachings as the basis for its content.

So as we watch the world being swept up in the fervor created by its so called martyr in Charlie Kirk. And the subsequent thronging toward Roman Catholicism and her daughters in the wave of emotion created by it. We are witnessing a great outpouring of the strong delusion sent to damn to hell those who will not love the truth.

The truth that Jesus did not come to pay a penalty for men’s sins. Nor did He come to be the bloody and torturous sacrifice to appease God’s wrath. Or to die in our place as a substitute.

Rather Jesus came to join with man in our mortality so that through faith in Him and His resurrection we can join with Jesus in eternal life and immortality. That by becoming a man who laid aside His power as God so He could be tempted in every way just as we are yet without sin. He could conquer man’s death by being a man that defeated it on our behalf, not in our place, by His resurrection.

Now I’m not saying that everyone who comes to faith in Jesus during this time of emotion is really trusting in moloch. It is possible that some are actually getting saved. But, the majority are telling you what they are doing by telling you what they have come to believe.

So when you hear people talking about revival now. And they say things like penalty for sins, died in our place, and needing a substitute. You know they are talking about a different Jesus, a different God, and a different atonement. Ones that are not Biblical.

And as they do so we are seeing the continued fulfillment of the “falling away” that Paul told us would come when men would no longer hear sound doctrine. But, instead would incline their ears to “doctrines of devils. Having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” Interestingly enough teachings that are characteristic of Roman Catholicism. How they can not see this is truly astounding.

So the question for us is are we going to be swept up in the fervor that is leading people into the falling away that Paul spoke of? Or are we going to trust in the Biblical Jesus who alone can keep us from falling and deliver us from death and hell? Are we among those who will not love the truth and be damned? Or has the truth been made for us the way and life that can only be found in a relationship with the Biblical Jesus?

As you can see from what I have shared here I am not splitting hairs in comparing the false Jesus preached by those who claim to be anointed and the truth. There is a stark difference between their Jesus and the one the Bible proclaims. And only the one the Bible proclaims has the power to save us.

Jesus told Nicodemus that this salvation only comes through the birth of a spirit in us that no man before Jesus came ever had. A spirit that God creates in us to join us to Him as His children. This is a stark difference from what those who teach original sin and sin nature believe.

No longer simply flesh and blood beings that He created when He made Adam. What Gen.2:7 refers to as living souls. After we trust in the Biblical Jesus we are made spiritual beings that are now able to relate to the God who made us. In a way never possible since the time Adam was made and placed in the garden.

He becomes our Father, not just our maker. A Father whose sole desire is that we know Him to have fellowship with Him. Because knowing Him is eternal life. And this is why Jesus said He came. So that we might have life abundantly. Which is the spiritual life no man can have apart from trusting in Jesus.

So don’t let the fervor Satan is creating by using his team A martyrdom against his team B mockers. The maga movement against the deep state. I have neighbors that we have lived next to for nearly 30 years that have continually rejected Jesus that are now telling me what a Christian movement this whole thing is. And we are seeing online and on television the same being said by those who call themselves Christian. The subtlety of the serpent is truly astounding.

But, we do not have to be deceived by this if we will believe what the Bible plainly says. If we will trust in the Biblical Jesus, the Biblical God, and the Biblical atonement. The one found in the plain language of the Bible. And not the perversions of those who claim anointing while preaching a different gospel. The one Augustine of Hippo, Martin Luther, and John Calvin taught.

Know that the reason Jesus came was to join with you in your mortality and death. So that by faith in Him and His resurrection you can join with Him in His eternal life and immortality. And not the naughty vs nice, good works vs bad works false gospel of the gnostics that is supposed to make you acceptable to God.

They true gospel is about natural vs spiritual. It is not about naughty vs nice or good works vs bad works. It is about how a natural man becomes spiritual by trusting in Jesus and His resurrection.

Trust in the Biblical Jesus who came to proclaim salvation through faith in Him to Israel. Who died to take away her sins and ours by becoming the final once for all sacrifice for sins for those under the law. And to take away unbelief through Paul’s preaching for those who have never been under the law. Who rose from the grave to conquer death on our behalf. So that through faith in Him we can have eternal life now. And immortality at the resurrection.

Do this and you will be made a child of God and heir to His kingdom. Do this and a spirit will be created in you that forever joins you to God as His child. Do this… and I will see you there or in the air!
