WHY IT IS SO VITALLY IMPORTANT THAT WE KNOW THAT JESUS’ FLESH WAS THE SAME AS OURS

If you were deceived, would you know it? If you actually believed a lie, how would you know? The only way for someone to be able to know for sure is for them to discover an ultimate source of truth. And then to realize that source is the Bible. 

And such a realization is only possible when people choose of their own free will to believe the Holy Spirit’s call to the person Jesus Christ. To freely believe the gospel when they hear it as Paul says in Rom.10:14-17. To receive the gift of faith that receives for us the eternal life Jesus alone can provide. Because faith in the ultimate truth that is Jesuits Himself can only come when we hear Him preached, and we believed Him by our own free will.   

To say we must be careful as Christians regarding the voices we hear and believe is an understatement, especially in these last days. Paul taught in 2Tim.4:3,4, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

Fables like those that change the meaning of the word apostacy from it’s obvious meaning that is falling away, to caught up. To those who claim to be prophetic voices leading many to believe a great revival is happening in the church that will lead to the millennial reign through some kind of christ consciousness. To those whose ministries are based on the lie that prophets and apostles continue to add to the word of God. Our concern must be, of what spirit are these. 

In the Bible, the ultimate source of truth because it is God’s word given to man through the apostles and prophets, we find messages like the apostle John’s that shows us how to tell the difference between these who are of the spirit of antichrist and those that are of the Holy Spirit of God. 

He wrote, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1 John 4:1-3. 

John also told us “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” 2John1:7-9

So serious was this admonition regarding the message from these who would deny that Jesus came in the same flesh all men have, he added that “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” 2John1:10,11

So this issue should be of great importance to us who love the truth. We must recognize the spirit of antichrist in these last days that tries to hide itself in a veneer of christianese. Saying things like “Jesus is Lord” and “Jesus saves”, while all the time really denying the Jesus of the Bible by denying His true humanity. Teaching that Jesus did not come in the same flesh all men have. 

Why is the fact that not only was Jesus fully God, but also fully human in every way just as we are, so vitally important to the true believer? Because if He was not fully human then He could not die a man’s death. And if He did not die a man’s death then He did not die for us. And if He did not die for us we are yet the most miserable of all men as Paul plainly said in 1Cor.15:13-19.

This has much to do with the reason Paul said the law was given to Israel. So that the “seed of the woman” would bring forth a purely human Jesus. One who would be born under the law as Paul said in Gal.4:4. And one who would come for the lost sheep of the house of Israel as Jesus said in Mt.15:24. And one who would be tempted in every way just as all men are and yet without sin. 

But, how is this possible if a sin nature resides in man’s flesh? If this were true as so many teach it is then Jesus would have also been a sinner by nature. With the only other option being that He did not come in the same flesh all men have. Which John said is a teaching that is of the spirit of antichrist. 

So we are left with the question; Do we believe the sin nature doctrine and deny that Jesus came in the same flesh all men have as John told us the spirit of antichrist has said? Or do we reject the sin nature doctrine and believe what John taught saying Jesus came in the same flesh all men have? It’s really that simple. You are either of the spirit of antichrist or the Spirit of God based on what you believe about this issue. 

Paul tells us that the reason the law was given to Israel was to keep them a pure people for the Messiah to be born through. The passage reads like this, “Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.” 

What was the transgression Paul speaks of here that relates to the coming of Messiah? I contend that it was the intermarrying of Israelites with people from the nations around them. Deut.7:3, 1Kings11:2, Joshua23:11-13, and elsewhere show the separation God wanted between Israel and the other nations. 

The Old Testament command was not a statement of the purity of the Jewish race as some cabalists believe. It was meant so that the Israelite would not be led away from God by the idolatries of those nations around them as the scriptures I provided show. Idolatries that included among other things the sexual relations with fallen angels and those who were doing these things. 

We see this in Gen.6 and again in the story of Lot in Sodom and Gemorah. Here the inhabitants of the land were said to desire sex with angels rather than with women. And these unions gave birth to beings that were “giants” and “great men of renown”. Nephilim. Most likely the events from which the Greek legends of beings like Hercules and others come. 

The genesis, if you will, comes from a pronouncement by God in Gen.3 for the woman and the serpent that tells the story. Here God told them that “I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Gen.3:15

So the serpent, that old devil, satan, has spent all time trying to overcome God’s pronouncement over him by so changing man’s DNA that there would be no human bloodline for Messiah to come through. But, we know it did not work. 

For Jesus was indeed fully human as well as fully God. Human in every sense of the word. Able to be tempted to sin just like all men can be as Heb.4:15 says. And under death’s reign just as all mankind has been since Adam was sent from the garden. 

The most insidious doctrine that has deceived many to believe in the antichrist doctrine John spoke of that says Jesus did not come in the same flesh all men have is the doctrine of original sin. This doctrine is at the heart of almost every sermon taught in pulpits all over the world today. And has been for almost the last 2,000 years. 

For since the days of Augustine of Hippo the Roman Catholic religion has taught this damnable heresy. Then through men like Martin Luther and John Calvin his heresies were continued to be preached and believed among those who call themselves evangelicals and protestants. 

Because of this what is left to us is a remnant that has seen through this great deception. A remnant of believers who like the apostles recognize that the doctrine of original sin with it’s sin nature is of the spirit of antichrist. And must be avoided and condemned as John said as the false teaching it is. So that all who will hear will come to a love for the truth. 

A love that Paul said was absolutely necessary to keep us from the “strong delusion” that is to come on all those who trusted in antichrist doctrines. And the spirit of antichrist whom John said was already in the world when he wrote his epistles. And who was to come when the time Paul spoke of in 2Thes.2 has arrived. The revealing of the “man of sin” after the restrainer, the true church who has rejected the lie of the doctrine of original sin and sin nature, has been “taken out of the way”. 

Will you be among these who go to be with Jesus when He comes for His church? Or have you been so deluded that you cling to the spirit of antichrist thinking that you are clinging to Jesus Christ? I pray it is the former. 

For unless it is the former the strong delusion is being sent just for people like you. To be damned to hell because you would not love the truth. The truth that is a person whose name is Jesus. A person who came in the same flesh all men have. 

And the only way to insure that it is the former is that you believe the Spirit of God that says that Jesus came in the same flesh all men have. And reject the spirit of antichrist that says because all men have a sin nature they inherited from Adam Jesus could not have come in the same flesh all men have. These “deny the doctrine of Christ” and “have not God”. 

Because He most certainly did come in the same flesh all men have. He had to to insure that He joined with us in our death. So that by His resurrection He would conquer the same death all men die. Making sure that all who do trust in Jesus will be able to join with Him in eternal life when we too are raised from the dead. No longer living in the fear of death in which Heb.2:15 says all men who do not know Jesus live.

Would you like to be free from the fear of death? Would you like to have the assurance of eternal life? Then trust in Jesus now. Confess that He is Lord. And believe in your heart that He has raised from the dead. And you will have eternal life. 

And after believing do not let yourself be led astray and the word planted in your heart be choked and made unfruitful by the false prophets and teachers who say that because all men are born with a sin nature Jesus could not have come in the same flesh all men have. We can’t trust anything they say because everything built on a lie will be a lie. 

Pray like this;

Dear Jesus, thank you for joining with me in my death. So that I can join with you in eternal life. Thank you for saving me from the power of death. I believe in you. I confess you as Lord. And believe that you conquered death for me by your resurrection. Thank you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Now begin to grow in the admonition of the Lord His word provides. Read and believe the plain language of the Bible. Let the Holy Spirit lead you in His truth. And don’t let the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, or the desire for other things choke the word that God has planted in you.
