Bobble-heads of Tony Fauci and the phrase “Your Government at Work” placed on one million American coffins encapsulated the truth of kill shot COVID-19.
In early 2020, as the Covid pandemic began to impact America, federal bureaucrats and politicians hurried to dismiss any claims that the pandemic stemmed from a Chinese government lab funded by US government agencies. Key officials in the Biden administration have effectively cleared the Chinese government of wrongdoing, despite the fact that China has entirely obstructed any external inquiry into the origins of the Covid virus, as recently reported by the Wall Street Journal in a prominent article.
The FBI’s leading expert determined that the virus originated from the lab; however, he was obstructed by the Biden administration and prevented from sharing his findings at an important White House meeting in August 2021. Three scientists at the National Center for Medical Intelligence, which is part of the Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency, reached the conclusion that Covid leaked from a lab, but they were silenced. An investigation is being conducted by the Inspector General to ascertain the reasons behind the silencing of those experts. The Department of Energy has also determined that Covid originated in a laboratory. In September 2023, a senior CIA analyst informed a Congressional committee that six key CIA analysts had been incentivized by the agency to forsake their conclusion that Covid originated from a lab leak.
In early 2020, the Chinese government acknowledged that a pandemic had emerged in the city of Wuhan. Despite the long-standing research on bats by the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which is linked to the Chinese military, the Chinese government maintained that the new virus originated from a local marketplace. However, the lead scientists engaged in bat research had all fallen ill with Covid-19 symptoms just prior to the Chinese government’s denial of any responsibility. A substantial amount of circumstantial evidence swiftly connected the new virus to the lab.
The emergence of Covid-19 triggered one of the most audacious concealments in contemporary US history. The National Institute for Health has been funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. This kind of research aims to genetically modify organisms to facilitate the transmission of viruses to different species. This type of research poses significant risks; as MIT professor Kevin Esvelt questioned in 2021, “Why is anyone trying to teach the world how to make viruses that could kill millions of people?” The risks were heightened due to the inadequate safety rating of the Wuhan Institute. Two years prior, the State Department discreetly cautioned other federal agencies regarding safety concerns at Wuhan laboratories researching bat Covid, yet the public release of that warning was postponed until 2022.
In January 2020, leading federal scientists acknowledged that the pandemic had the potential to devastate their reputations. Dr. Francis Collins, the director of the National Institutes for Health, stated in an email that “a swift convening of experts in a confidence-inspiring framework is needed or the voices of conspiracy will quickly dominate, doing great potential harm to science and international harmony.” The so-called “conspiracy” was simply the reality of the situation.
Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), quickly gathered a select group of trusted scientists to produce a paper that aimed to demonstrate that the virus could not have originated in the lab. A leading scientist from NIAID took on the responsibility of discrediting the lab-leak narrative, stating in an email to a colleague, “Tony doesn’t want his fingerprints on origin stories.” The Lancet, a highly esteemed medical journal globally, participated in the cover-up with an op-ed featuring 27 scientists who declared: “We stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that Covid-19 does not have a natural origin.” Perhaps the same scientists also submitted a note to the NIH: Continue providing us with grant funding or your reputation will face dire consequences.
Additional “evidence” emerged through a flood of allegations of racism directed at anyone who openly proposed that the virus came from a Chinese laboratory. The State Department’s Global Engagement Center intervened in the discussion, urging Twitter to restrict hundreds of thousands of accounts (including many ordinary Americans) in early 2020 for the allegation that Covid originated in a lab. Bureaucrats covertly concluded that dramatically inflated predictions of pandemic death rates rendered the First Amendment ineffective.
If Covid-19 had been acknowledged from the start as a significant government misstep, it would have been much harder for American politicians and government scientists to present themselves as heroes while taking control of everyday life.
The virus funded by the NIH granted immediate authoritarian control to politicians across all tiers of government. In the pursuit of saving lives, politicians have taken it upon themselves to dismantle countless livelihoods. Most governors reacted to Covid-19 by implementing measures that effectively devastated the economy while seemingly protecting individuals. However, the only way to believe that individuals were uninjured was to assume that their lives were completely separate from their employment, financial obligations, housing costs, and relationships with friends and family.
A virus with a survival rate exceeding 99% led to an absolute assumption in support of authoritarian rule. Since the onset of the pandemic, numerous individuals who pledged their loyalty to “science and data” also held the belief that total authority would ensure their safety. Those who questioned became dissenters that warranted discreet suppression.
Shutdown advocates invoked science with the fervor of devoted priests calling upon God and the Bible to justify punishing their adversaries. However, the “science” frequently proved to be absurdly unreliable. Mandatory mask mandates emerged as a contemporary parallel to the Emancipation Proclamation. Fauci and other high-ranking officials misled Americans into thinking that cloth masks provided significantly more protection than they actually did. Are Americans beginning to acknowledge that the federal government was the primary source of disinformation throughout the pandemic?
A hundred years ago, historian Henry Adams stated that politics has “always been the systematic organization of hatreds.” The Covid-19 policies caused significant disruption, partly due to politicians deliberately aiming to amplify fear and anger towards those who resisted compliance with any mandates. Following the decline in the effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccines, Biden took action by mandating that a hundred million American adults receive the injection according to his directive.
A few weeks later at a CNN town hall, Biden criticized vaccine skeptics, labeling them as murderers who sought “the freedom to kill you” with Covid. A few months later, a Rasmussen poll revealed that 59% of Democratic voters supported house arrest for the unvaccinated, while 45% were in favor of confining the unvaccinated in government detention facilities. Nearly 50% of Democrats supported granting the government the authority to impose fines or imprisonment on individuals who publicly challenge the effectiveness of the current Covid-19 vaccines through social media, television, radio, or online publications. However, hatred turned out to be just as ineffective as the Pfizer vaccine in the battle against Covid-19.
Fauci, who served as Biden’s chief medical advisor, defended Covid mandates by stating that average citizens “don’t have the ability” to decide what is best for themselves. However, Congressional investigations uncovered that Fauci was at the heart of orchestrating efforts to evade accountability for the Wuhan incident. Following Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) proposal to prosecute Fauci for allegedly providing false testimony regarding funding for “gain-of-function” research, Fauci responded by asserting that his critics are essentially attacking science itself, as he embodies the principles of science. That is perilous. However, it is not nearly as perilous as granting extensive authority to covert federal agencies.
On September 20, 2023, the Biden administration imposed a 10-year ban on the Wuhan Institute of Virology from receiving any US government research funding as a consequence of its unauthorized gain-of-function experiments on bat coronaviruses. Why did the Biden administration fail to include a condemnation and similar prohibitions for any American scientist, institute, or government officials involved in this debacle?
The slogan “Your Government at Work” superimposed atop a million American caskets starkly illustrated the reality of Covid-19, rather than the whimsicality of Tony Fauci bobbleheads.
