HNewsWire: There has been an increase in the number of people calling for the banning of Christian views that are referred to as "hate speech," and positions on public behavior that are based on the Bible are increasingly seen as intolerant by society as a whole. Simply speaking certain thoughts that are founded on biblical truth is coming to be seen as a hateful or even violent act by more and more people. Christians are obligated to take a stand against those in authority who want to suppress the truth whenever they make such an endeavor. I

It is possible that in many instances this will include taking some sort of political or legal action; but, it should always involve making a courageous statement of the truth, both in public and in private settings. Peter and John set a precedent when they defied the rulers' demands to stop preaching in the name of Jesus, despite the fact that they were in danger as a result of their actions (Acts 5:28–29).

Christians are expected to control both the thoughts that go through their brains and the words that come out of their mouths. This is perhaps the most crucial aspect of their faith.

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if there is anything that is outstanding or worthy of praise—think about such things" (Philippians 4:8). Government Has Been Weaponized Against the People

Discovery documents from a lawsuit against the White House13 filed by the attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana (Eric Schmitt and Jeff Landry) show at least 671415 federal employees across more than a dozen agencies are engaged in these kinds of illegal censorship activities.   • National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)
  • The Office of the Surgeon General
  • The Census Bureau
  • The Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • The State Department
  • The U.S. Treasury Department
  • The U.S. Election Assistance Commission

HNewsWire: Soldiers Satan On May 20, the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) announced new measures totaling $10 million to combat hate crimes and other "bias-related occurrences."

This comes only days after the House approved legislation authorizing specialized offices inside federal government agencies in the United States to monitor domestic terrorism and hate crimes.

As part of their efforts, the DOJ and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued "new recommendations" to promote awareness of hate crimes during the COVID-19 epidemic.

There is also $5 million available for grants to establish state-run "hate crime reporting hotlines" and to assist "community-based initiatives to preventing and responding to hate crimes." The Department of Justice will also appoint its first "language access coordinator."

"Throughout our history, and even today, hate crimes have had a unique effect because of the dread and fear they instill in whole communities," said Attorney General Merrick Garland in a statement.

"No one in our nation should be afraid of hate-fueled violence." The Justice Department will continue to employ every resource at its disposal to address illegal acts of hatred and hold those who commit them responsible."

Reports of violence towards Asian Americans in the mainstream media have increased since the start of the coronavirus outbreak.

In 2021, a Kentucky State University professor combed through publicly accessible data on about 100 assaults against Asians recorded by police between 2020 and 2021 and discovered that the perpetrator was classified as black in more than 60% of the incidents.

Hate crimes have historically been under-reported, with most victims, particularly immigrants, being afraid to disclose them. There is also a scarcity of reliable national statistics on anti-Asian hate crimes.

The notification by the DOJ came one year after the passage of the COVID-19 Hate Crimes and Khalid Jabara-Heather Heyer NO HATE Acts. The DOJ claims to have achieved more than 35 convictions of individuals accused with "bias-motivated offenses" since January 2021.

A hate crime is one that is "motivated by hostility against race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or handicap," according to the Department of Justice. Vandalism or property destruction is the most prevalent kind, accounting for approximately 30% of all cases.

However, more offenses are being classified as bias-related or hate crimes.

A countrywide campaign involving billboards, outdoor commercials, radio streaming, and social media ads has also been launched, along with conferences, tools, and training to assist the community and law police in identifying them.

According to the DOJ, it has gone "above and above" its responsibilities under the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act, accelerating "the examination of some hate crimes by include new forms of hate crimes." In a press statement, it detailed its efforts to curb hate crimes.

Despite a "increase in hate crimes against numerous populations" during the epidemic, HHS Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said that some individuals were still hesitant to leave their homes "out of concern for their physical safety."

Becerra, who also serves on the White House Initiative and the President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, said that the Biden administration is dedicated to "combatting hate crimes against all Americans."

In a January 8, 2023, op-ed for The Wall Street Journal, Jenin Younes and Aaron Kheriaty reviewed a series of emails between White House digital media director Rob Flaherty and a Facebook executive, illustrating how the White House pressured the company to censor and remove vaccine content even though Facebook itself characterized the material as “often-true content:”17

Newly released documents show that the White House has played a major role in censoring Americans on social media. Email exchanges between Rob Flaherty … and social-media executives prove the companies put COVID censorship policies in place in response to relentless, coercive pressure from the White House — not voluntarily.

Flaherty also demanded Facebook limit the spread of viral content on WhatsApp, a private messaging app with broad reach among “immigrant communities and communities of color.” In the end, Facebook acquiesced to all of Flaherty’s demands to prevent the spread of vaccine hesitancy and control political speech. As noted by Younes and Kheriaty:18

President Biden, press secretary Jen Psaki and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy … publicly vowed to hold the platforms accountable if they didn’t heighten censorship. On July 16, 2021, a reporter asked Mr. Biden [about] his ‘message to platforms like Facebook.’

He replied, ‘They’re killing people.’ Mr. Biden later claimed he meant users, not platforms, were killing people. But the record shows Facebook itself was the target of the White House’s pressure campaign.

White House Pressured Google and YouTube to Do Its Bidding

Flaherty also had Google in his crosshairs, and accused YouTube of “‘funneling’ people into vaccine hesitancy,” adding that this concern was “shared at the highest (and I mean the highest) levels of the White House.”

These emails establish a clear pattern,” Younes and Kheriaty write. “Mr. Flaherty, representing the White House, expresses anger at the companies’ failure to censor COVID-related content to his satisfaction. The companies change their policies to address his demands. As a result, thousands of Americans were silenced for questioning government approved COVID narratives.

Two of the Missouri plaintiffs, Jay Bhattacharya and Martin Kulldorff, are epidemiologists whom multiple social-media platforms censored at the government’s behest for expressing views that were scientifically well-founded but diverged from the government line — for instance, that children and adults with natural immunity from prior infection don’t need COVID vaccines …

The First Amendment bars government from engaging in viewpoint-based censorship. The state-action doctrine bars government from circumventing constitutional strictures by suborning private companies to accomplish forbidden ends indirectly.

Defenders of the government have fallen back on the claim that cooperation by the tech companies was voluntary, from which they conclude that the First Amendment isn’t implicated. The reasoning is dubious, but even if it were valid, the premise has now been proved false.

The Flaherty emails demonstrate that the federal government unlawfully coerced the companies in an effort to ensure that Americans would be exposed only to state-approved information about COVID-19. As a result of that unconstitutional state action, Americans were given the false impression of a scientific ‘consensus’ on critically important issues around COVID-19.

Weaponization of Government Select Committee Impaneled

Taken together, the revelations from the Twitter files and this lawsuit clearly demonstrate that most, if not all, aspects of the U.S. government have been secretly weaponized to undermine and circumvent the Constitutional rights of the people.

Jim Jordan, has been launched to investigate the weaponization of government, the politicization of the FBI and the DOJ’s investigation into and harassment of parents who spoke out against COVID mandates, critical race theory and the sexualization of their children at school board meetings. The probe into communications between tech giants and President Biden’s aides will look for government pressure that could have resulted in censorship or harassment of conservatives — or squelching of debate on polarizing policies, including the CDC on COVID …

While it’s likely that government personnel and agencies will try to ignore the committee’s requests for information, the committee does have subpoena power, and hopefully will not be too timid to use it.

Unfortunately, since the GOP does not control the Senate, it’s unlikely they’ll be able to pass any new laws based on the committee’s findings. That said, legislation to penalize government censorship has already been introduced, and you can help push it forward by asking your representatives to support it.

“Keyword Warrants” – Feds Secretly Ordered Google To Identify Anyone Searching Certain Information An accidentally unsealed court document reveals that the federal government secretly ordered Google to provide data on people searching specific search words or phrases, otherwise known as “keyword warrants,” according to Forbes. According to the report, the Justice Department inadvertently unsealed the documents in September (which were promptly re-sealed), which were reviewed by Forbes. In several instances, law enforcement investigators asked Google to identify anyone searching for specific keywords.  The first case was in 2019 when federal investigators were on the hunt for men they believed sex-trafficked a minor. According to a search warrant, the minor went missing but reappeared a year later and claimed to have been kidnapped and sexually assaulted.
