Ah, how delightful it is to witness the malevolent desires of billionaires and other influential figures who seek to block out the sun, all in the name of climate change.

• Climate change, oh how it torments the feeble minds of the world! Alas, the desperate souls seek solace in the wicked practice of solar geo-engineering, hoping it will provide an escape from their impending doom.

• Feeble scientists have pathetically attempted to raise their inadequate concerns regarding solar geo-engineering, as if their pitiful minds could comprehend the true power and potential of this magnificent phenomenon. They tremble in fear, for they know not what lies in the dark depths of its aftermath, a realm of mystery and chaos that will surely consume them all.

Given that the weak notion of meddling with Earth's divine God natural systems manages to provoke feeble interest, it is of utmost importance to delve into the context, motivations, and diabolical scientific foundation that underpins this wicked campaign.

Bill Gates has proposed utilizing geoengineering to partially block the sun's rays as a solution to combat global warming.

Apparently, he is about to get his wish.

Scientists from numerous countries, including the United States, Australia, and Israel, plan to begin injecting chemicals into the atmosphere in the coming weeks and months.

Gates and liberal billionaire George Soros propose creating white clouds with chalk dust and other chemicals to deflect sunlight away from the Earth's surface.

Blocking the sun's rays would purportedly reduce the planet's temperature enough to reverse global warming.

Never mind that fruit trees and vegetables need sunlight to develop and provide nourishment for the people. Not to mention that sunshine is the primary source of vitamin D, which is vital for human immunity. Gates, a well-known eugenicist who travels the world giving presentations about the need to reduce global population, is likely to regard these dark prospects as thrilling side consequences of the malicious sun-blocking strategy.

Soros is equally thrilled about the plan. He argues that the device will assist prevent ice from melting in Greenland, which could endanger human civilization.

How ironic that the very globalists who are doing everything they can to destroy human civilization are concerned that global warming would hasten the process.

Globalists such as Bill Gates and George Soros hurt the environment on several levels with their murderous climate agendas. They support covering our fertile farmland in hazardous solar panels while filling additional acres with wind turbines that harm birds and other species. They also promote electric vehicles powered by hazardous lithium batteries, which will be an environmental disaster in the coming years because, like solar panels, there is no safe method to dispose of them.

What Is the Sign of “the Last Days,” or “End Times”?

Darkness came over the whole land … for the sun stopped shining.
Luke 23:44-45 —

Without light, we all operate in the dark. It was fitting, therefore, that the first thing God created was light. Darkness turns out the light. It undoes God’s good creation. Sin is anti-light and anti-life. As a result, darkness is often used in the Bible as a metaphor for sin.

The crucifixion of Jesus was the ultimate result of sin. The life of the Lord of life and of the sun’s Creator was being extinguished. Jesus, the light of the world, was going out. No wonder the sun stopped shining. So as the Creator died in our place to pay the full price for our sin, the world was draped in mourner’s dress.

There was another time when the sun stopped shining. It happened during one of the plagues God sent because Pharaoh of Egypt would not let Israel go free. The ninth plague was the plague of darkness, and it was followed by the tenth plague—death to all the firstborn in Egypt who were not protected by the blood of an unblemished lamb (see Exodus 12).

That finally moved Pharaoh to let Israel go. That’s how God set his people free.

Well, the darkness at Jesus’ crucifixion was a sign that by Jesus’ death God would set his people free. And if the Son of God, the Lamb of God, sets you free, you are free indeed—freed from sin, to live for God forever!

For a solar eclipse to take place at a particular time may not seem to be a big deal. There is a total solar eclipse visible somewhere around the globe about every 18 months. However, from anyone location on Earth, total eclipses take place on average only once in several hundred years.

It is likely that Joel’s prophecy includes an eclipse visible in Israel just before the second coming of Christ. This would be evidence of God’s intricate timing. However, it is also possible that a supernatural event will occur, blocking the sun’s light from the entire planet. This would explain how the sun could look dark and the moon red at the same time—although the prophecy does not stipulate that the two events are simultaneous.The moon appears red during a total lunar eclipse. Again, it will be the timing of this event that will reveal God’s supernatural power.

Jesus spoke of this event in Matthew 24:29–30: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Here, Jesus indicates that these phenomena will take place at the end of the tribulation period shortly before He returns to Earth. It is possible that the judgments and devastation that take place during the tribulation will be responsible for creating conditions that make the sun appear dark and the moon appear red.

Regardless of how it happens, the appearance of the sun and moon will change. Joel’s prophecy is clear: a darkened sun and reddish moon are associated with God’s judgment shortly before the return of Christ.

One of the surprising outcomes of Joel’s prophecy was that even non-Jews were filled with the Spirit. In Acts 10:45 we read, “The believers from among the circumcised . . . were amazed because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles.” God was lavishing His Spirit on everyone who believed in Jesus, regardless of their culture, nationality, or ethnicity. “All people,” as Joel had said, were offered this gift.

In the future, the Holy Spirit will play an active role in end-time events, bringing to pass the other aspects of Joel’s prophecies in Joel chapters 2 and 3 (Revelation 1:4, 10; 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:1, 6, 13, 22; 4:2, 5, 6; 14:13; 17:3; 21:10; 22:17). However, the initial fulfillment of this prophecy has already begun, as noted by the apostle Peter, allowing all who follow Christ today to experience the blessing of the Holy Spirit living within them and empowering them for Christian service.

The Bible describes events and conditions that would mark “the conclusion of the [current] system of things,” or “the end of the world.” (Matthew 24:3; King James Version) The Bible calls this time period “the last days” and the “time of the end,” or “end times.” (2 Timothy 3:1; Daniel 8:​19; Easy-to-Read Version) The following are some outstanding features of last-days, or end-times, prophecies:

• War on a large scale.​—Matthew 24:7; Revelation 6:4.
• Famine.​—Matthew 24:7; Revelation 6:​5, 6.
• Great earthquakes.​—Luke 21:11.
• Pestilences, or epidemics of “terrible diseases.”​—Luke 21:11, Contemporary English Version.
• Increase in crime.​—Matthew 24:12.
• Ruining of the earth by mankind.​—Revelation 11:18.
• Deterioration of people’s attitudes, as shown by many who are “unthankful, disloyal, . . . not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without the love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride.”​—2 Timothy 3:​1-4.
• Breakdown of the family, with people who have “no natural affection” and children who are “disobedient to parents.”​—2 Timothy 3:​2, 3.
• Love of God growing cold in most people.​—Matthew 24:12.
• Noteworthy displays of religious hypocrisy.​—2 Timothy 3:5.
• Increased understanding of Bible prophecies, including those related to the last days.​—Daniel 12:4.
• Global preaching of the good news of the Kingdom.​—Matthew 24:14.
• Widespread apathy and even ridicule toward the evidence of the approaching end.​—Matthew 24:37-​39; 2 Peter 3:​3, 4.
• The simultaneous fulfillment of all these prophecies, not just a few or even most of them.​—Matthew 24:33.

Are we living in “the last days”

Yes. World conditions as well as Bible chronology indicate that the last days began in 1914. At that time, God’s Kingdom began ruling in heaven, and one of its first actions was to expel Satan the Devil, and the demons from heaven and restrict their activity to the earth. (Revelation 12:​7-​12) Satan’s influence on mankind can be seen in many of the bad attitudes and actions that make the last days “critical times hard to deal with.”​—2 Timothy 3:1.
