How Did We Get Into This Present State of Lawlessness? The Thieves at GoFraudMe Are Thriving, Just Like Some Major Financial Institutions, Thievery Is a Way of Life
As Organizers Turn To Cryptocurrency, TD Bank Will Surrender Donations to the Court
"TD has asked the court to accept the funds, which were raised through crowdfunding and deposited into personal accounts at TD, so they may be managed and distributed in accordance with the intentions of the donors, and/or to be returned to the donors who have requested refunds but whose entitlement to a refund cannot be determined by TD," said spokeswoman Carla Hindman.
The Convoy, meanwhile, plans to fight for their donations - and is now looking to raise funding via cryptocurrency.
Convoy lawyer Keith Wilson said that the group planned to fight to retrieve any money they had raised — and could be seen in a video promoting the group’s next play: a cryptocurrency fundraiser that has raised almost US$1 million.
“We will be taking expedited legal steps to have the restrictions on the donated funds lifted as soon as possible,” Wilson said in an email to CTV News. -CTV
"The principle philosophy of what Bitcoin is is freedom," says one organizer in a Facebook video. "For everyone who had their voice stolen by “GoFraudMe”, “GoFundMe,” you should feel solace that there are now alternatives."
According to Ontario court filings, Ottawa Police cited the video in their affidavit, referencing the convoy's crypto fundraising strategy.
According to the Globe and Mail, one Bitcoin wallet has raised more than $500,000.
TD's action is the latest setback for the Convoy, which has been occupying Ottawa and other border crossings for for two weeks in protest of vaccination and mask demands, provoking international rallies and Ontario Premier Doug Ford's declaration of a state of emergency on Friday.
According to CTV, just $1 million of the nearly $10 million earned through GoFundMe was transferred before the fundraising platform decided to terminate the campaign and refund the remaining funds.
As of this writing, two following fundraisers on Christian crowdsourcing platform GiveSendGo have raised more than $9 million.
The Ontario Superior Court, however, froze assets from these accounts late Thursday after the province's Attorney General claimed the monies will be used to advance the criminal conduct of'mischief on the streets' of Ottawa.
GiveSendGo claims that the injunction does not apply, yet nevertheless continues to collect payments.
Update: Law Licenses Suspended for McCloskeys, the Missouri Couple Who Held off BLM Protesters Outside Their Home
The Missouri Supreme Court has suspended the law licenses of a Missouri couple who were convicted of misdemeanors for holding guns outside their gated community in St. Louis in 2020, when a group of protesters, including BLM activists, demonstrated.
At the same time, the court delayed the suspension, subjecting the two attorneys–who have become folk heroes among conservatives–to a year of probation during which they must "not participate in behavior that breaches the Rules of Professional Conduct."
Mark and Patricia McCloskey were honored speakers at the 2020 Republican National Convention for defending their home. Mark McCloskey is a Republican candidate for the United States Senate.
Although the McCloskeys, who were pardoned after being convicted by Republican Missouri Gov. Mike Parson, said they were justified in keeping weapons outside their house to deter a throng that they claimed was threatening them, local prosecutors disagreed.
The case, which contained prosecutorial misconduct, drew widespread notice in the media.
Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II removed Kimberly Gardner, a Democrat and St. Louis' first black chief prosecutor, from the case in December 2020 after she used the incident in inflammatory campaign fundraising emails sent out days before the McCloskeys were charged. Gardner has accused local police of racism. According to NPR, Clark found that Gardner's actions gave the appearance of impropriety and compromised the defendants' right to a fair trial.
According to the Washington Times, leftist financier George Soros, whose philanthropy funded groups involved in violent protests after the 2014 death of black teenager Michael Brown in nearby Ferguson, contributed to Gardner's campaign through his political organizations as part of a "rogue prosecutors" campaign to elect soft-on-crime district attorneys. Critics claim that these zealous prosecutors have increased crime rates in communities across the country.
The Black Lives Matter activists who showed up outside the McCloskeys' house were marching to the St. Louis mayor's house to protest the death in Minneapolis police custody of George Floyd, a black man whose death sparked nationwide riots. Nine demonstrators were charged with misdemeanor trespassing after the event, however the charges were ultimately dismissed.
The McCloskeys claimed at the time that their actions "were solely motivated by fear and apprehension" as a result of the mob's presence on a private street.
Chief Justice Paul C. Wilson stated in dual orders Feb. 8 that the fact that Mark and Patricia McCloskey were each convicted of a "misdemeanor violation containing moral turpitude" required them to be disciplined under court standards.
According to the Legal Information Institute, moral turpitude is a legal word that describes "wicked, aberrant behavior representing an immoral, unethical, or unfair deviation from usual social standards such that it would shock a community."
Mark McCloskey pleaded guilty to a "class A misdemeanor of harassment in the second degree" on June 17, 2021, according to Wilson (pdf). He received a monetary penalty of $750.
Patricia McCloskey pleaded guilty to a "class C misdemeanor of assault in the fourth degree" the same day, according to the chief justice (pdf). She was fined $2,000 for her actions.
The couple had been charged with felony-level unlawful use of a weapon, but prosecutors worked out a plea deal with them to lessen the charges' severity.
The court's chief disciplinary officer, Alan Pratzel, had previously requested that their law licenses be suspended. The couple's actions, according to Pratzel, displayed "indifference to public safety" and "moral turpitude."
According to The Epoch Times, Pratzel recognized that the governor's pardons removed the McCloskeys' convictions, but said that "the person's culpability remains."
"I'm sad the Supreme Court felt it necessary to reprimand us," Patricia McCloskey told local media. What we did, I believe, was not an act of moral turpitude." She went on to say that they'll both follow the probation rules. Source: theepochtimes.com contributed to this report.
Without firing a shot or launching a missile, our opponents want to deploy online digital techniques to unravel the foundation of our republic. My answer has been to aggressively "expose" those effort and confront individuals who insult the American democracy.
Confiscation and redistribution were demonstrated in one fell swoop by GoFundMe.
The oh-so-progressive GoFundMe crowd-funding site—run by about as pure a group of upscale lefty elitists as you could invent, with its CEO being a former a consultant for the multimillion-dollar drug pushers at McKinsey—has turned against those lowly 16-hour-a-day working-stiffs, the Canadian truckers, for deigning to risk their jobs and livelihood to protest vaccine mandates.
At first, calling the truckers occupiers and accusing them—without the slightest proof—of violent acts, GoFundMe essentially absconded with the US$8 million donated to the truckers through its site and peremptorily decided to distribute the money to charities of its choice (one can only imagine).
Sounds like “misappropriation of funds,” at the minimum, and possibly fraud. Don’t these people have lawyers? But worse than that, it was one of the more clueless readings of public sentiment in recent years—and there have been many.
Maybe it’s because those lefty elitists on their board don’t do much shopping on their own, send assistants to the supermarkets for food, and don’t see the empty shelves, so they think they can push the truckers around. That’s an explanation, anyway, but blowback happened fast enough that GoFundMe quickly rescinded its “charitable” decree and promised to return the money to the donors.
The Canadian #FreedomConvoy A GoFundMe campaign that had raised over $10 million was abruptly shut down by the Mayor of Ottawa and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. They also stated that they will provide money to other "authorized charity" in the form of donations. Those authorized charity are likely to be those that Trudeau and others have highlighted by name (like the avowedly Marxist BLM, who have fundraising issues of their own owing to lack of financial transparency).
It's incidents like this that demonstrate the importance of Bitcoin, decentralized crypt-currencies, and communication protocols.
Due to the fact that we're now living in a society ruled by technocratic collectivism. There is no doubt in their minds that what they believe and what you or I believe are two different things.
In and of itself, having to deal with people who yell in your face about the things they want you to believe and the way they want you to live is a nuisance.
But when these people concentrate around the choke-points of a centralized, bureaucratic technocracy, they force their particular neuroses on the rest of society, which is not a good thing. The official canon on what constitutes truth itself, not only as a matter of policy.
When opposition is criminalized and looting is made legitimate, that's when things come to a head. It is a dystopian state of affairs when any acts taken against individuals who dare to disagree are justified, but all civil (and constitutionally authorized) opposition is automatically considered criminal. Authoritarianism is at the very least a possibility.
Once again it's all Putin's fault He's behind dirty money and GoFundMe thievery, ask the blind man He's seen it all....

Meet Moses! He's a young man who grew up in the most challenging circumstances. Today, he has larger-than-life goals to achieve something extraordinary.
People’s hearts are troubled, their minds are in a state of confusion, the Bible tells us a time of great delusion that will come upon the people, that time has arrived, the politicians must come up with more significant and more believable lies in order to bring on the antichrist, we have entered the Tribulation.…
