PASSOVER, AN UNBLEMISHED LAMB- EXODUS12:5

Most believe it had something to do with making bad people good enough for God to accept them. That by punishing Jesus in our place God's wrath was appeased so that we do not have to go to suffer God’s wrath by going to hell. By what they believe was the purpose of Jesus' death paying the penalty for sin that we could not pay.

But, since Jesus came, and Paul was separated as an apostle to the assembly of believers, we know that what the law says it only says to them that were under the law. And since we are not under the law but under grace, their notions regarding the purpose of the atonement have no basis in Biblical fact. And come only from the very pagan Gnostic machinations of Augustine's Roman Catholicism. And her daughters the evangelical protestants who also prescribe to Augustine's false teachings.

Jesus' death, ie Passover, is the central point in all of history. Because His death, and His subsequent resurrection, was the fulfillment of God's prophetic words to Eve that showed how He would deliver mankind from mortality to immortality. And from temporal life to eternal life.

1Cor.2 says His death(had the princes of this world known it they would never have crucified the Lord) was what revealed the wisdom of God that was hid in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory".

Not for the glory of anyone before Jesus came. But, for our glory. Our justification that comes by faith apart from works. The justification that is by the faith of Christ.

By first giving to man eternal life through the birth of a spirit in him that he never had before. That would be our assurance that we would be raised him from the dead with a new immortal body.

In Gen.3:15 God told the serpent, "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." In this God shows His plan that He made before He made the world. One that would bring immortality to all mankind through His power to give life as a free gift to all who will believe in Jesus and His resurrection.

Power that God possesses in and of Himself. The power of life and to give life to whomever He chooses.

And He has chosen to exercise that power to give life to everyone who believes in Jesus and His resurrection…. without works!

This was not something that is made available because a very good man was punished and died for very bad people. Jesus' "goodness" did not factor into His being called the "unblemished lamb of God".

His being unblemished has to do with His DNA being fully human in every way that all men are. Being flesh and blood just like we are. Not tainted with the DNA of those who practiced the iniquity of Noah's and Lot's day. Whose daughters were joining themselves with the B'nai elohim (sons of God, fallen angels)who saw the daughters of men were fair. To give birth to an abomination for which the destruction of the flood came.

A destruction that came to save mankind. Not to destroy him for being bad. Because had God not brought the flood in Noah's day no flesh would have been saved. But, all mankind would have been polluted with the DNA that was produced from this union.

So it was this iniquity that caused God to bring a flood upon the whole earth, after Noah following God's direction to build a huge ship, so that the few that were still purely human would be saved. And caused the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah so that the only purely human beings left in those cities would be saved. And the DNA problem that would potentially destroy all mankind would be stopped. At least for a while.

But, only for a while. Because Jesus said that as it was in the days of Noah and Lot so shall it be at the time of the coming of the Son of man. Which means this mingling of DNA so that humanity would no longer be fully human will happen again. Saying also that if He does not intervene at just the right time as He did in Noah's day, once again, "no flesh would be saved".

So when Jesus came God had worked through history to provide the means to keep the bloodline that He would be born through purely human. Also giving Israel the law as Paul said in Gal.3:19 was it's purpose. To preserve Israel as a purely human bloodline til Jesus came.

Because only by being human just as we are could Jesus represent all humanity, to conquer the mortality that all humans are born into, since the time Adam was made a living soul.

So this unblemished-ness represented in the lambs that were used in the sacrifices Israel  performed, was to be representative of Jesus' being purely human. And had nothing to do with any breaking of God's commands. Even though Heb.4:15 and other scriptures make it very clear that He never knew sin.

But again, this was because Jesus always trusted the Father. And had nothing to do with His behavior. This would insure that works have nothing to do with how men are saved. Or how they stay saved.

Because the Bible says of others too that they were sinless by saying they were blameless according to the keeping of the law. People like Job, and Zachariah and Elizabeth, and Paul. Job1, Luke1:5,6, and Phil.3:6 respectively. Saying of each that they were righteous, blameless, in all that he said he did not sin, and walked in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

But, these could never have had the same kind of relationship with the Father that Jesus did. Because Jesus was not only a living soul as all men are. He was also a living spirit. Something that Jesus said in John4:24, and Paul said in 1Cor.2:14, is absolutely necessary for having a relationship with God.

So those who have been deceived by the salvation by works doctrine of original sin must toss it's gnostic paganism in the pit of hell where it belongs. Starting from scratch if you must to rid yourself from all such antichrist pagan thinking.

And stop thinking in terms of naughty or nice works as if we are as children who are taught to please Santa Claus. And turn to the true and living God in faith to receive eternal life and immortality as was promised long ago when God told the serpent what his end would be.

This is not to say that we should sin that grace may abound. Like Paul said in Rom.6, "God forbid". But, bad behavior is a matter of renewing the mind as Rom.12:1,2 says. To the ways of God instead of the ways of the flesh we learned from others and our experiences before we came to believe in Jesus.

Ways that while they were not necessarily bad. They were not spiritual, but natural. They were at least the product of man's God given "very good" natural senses. And by their not being spiritual, but only natural, they can not help us in knowing and trusting in Jesus. Which is eternal life. Which is why we must be born again. So we can relate to that which is spiritual. And not only to that which has been made as Adam did in the garden.

Recognizing this we can begin to understand why in 1John3 John said "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

This "work of the devil" is unbelief. We know this when we believe what Jesus told His disciples in John16:9. That when the Holy Spirit comes He will reprove the world of the sin of unbelief. The same sin that Jesus takes away(John1:29) and became(2Cor.5:21) when He was on the cross.

Because this sin is the sin the devil committed "since the beginning". Unbelief is the sin Jesus was manifested to destroy.

And the only sin for which men will not be able go to heaven. Because only when we believe in Jesus and His resurrection do we become children of God and heirs to His kingdom.

So Jesus' unblemished-ness is the fact that He was purely human. And His death and resurrection that conquered mortality for all mankind. Are the means by which God patriates mankind to Himself. How God makes men children of God.

Because through faith in Jesus and His resurrection we are born of God so that we can not sin. Which means we can not not believe in Him for eternal life and immortality. The sin the lamb of God taketh away is unbelief. And has nothing to do with naughty or nice behavior.

This is what Passover represents for the believer in Jesus. Not that Jesus was good enough in our place. And not that He was punished sufficiently enough in our place to appease God's wrath. That is the paganism that caused worshippers of Moloch to sacrifice babies. Because they believed only the sacrifice of the most innocent could appease his wrath.

This kind of thinking joins it's adherents to a different God. A different Jesus. By making them believe in a different atonement.

But, because being the unblemished lamb meant that He was not just fully God. But, also fully human. It shows why He was able to represent all humanity when He conquered death.

So that when we trust in Him as He trusted the Father saying "nevertheless not my will but thy will be done", we will be born of God. And now as His children we are made heirs to His kingdom.

Made immortal by the same resurrection power that was Jesus' immortality. By the power of an endless life. The power of the almighty God that gifts eternal life and immortality to all who will trust in Him without works. The Creator of all that has been made. And deliverer of all who will believe in Jesus and His resurrection.

So remember this when you think of the Passover. That the naughty nice system of the Santa Claus religion of the doctrine of original sin has nothing to do with how we are made righteous before God. Our immortality has nothing to do with being good or bad. Or whether sufficient punishment for appeasement of wrath was brought to bear upon the innocent as the pagan doctrine of original sin teaches.

So if you go to church and hear about the crucifixion, and they tell you it was to pay the penalty for our sins. You will know they have believed the paganism taught by those who follow Augustine and not Paul. They believe in a false pagan gnostic atonement.

They have not believed the atonement the apostles and prophets taught. An atonement that shows God's love for us that required no penalty to be paid. And no punishment of the innocent to appease wrath. But, only God's love for men that need to be made spiritual and immortal. A love that God's ministers are to bring to the whole world. Making sure that they know that God is not mad at them.

Passover means immortality and eternal life because God Himself came as a man to join with us in our mortality. To become the sin of unbelief that caused separation between Jesus and the Father so He could take it away. So that by conquering death by His resurrection we could join with Him in His immortality when we are resurrected. And have eternal life by the birth of a new spirit in us that happens when we know and trust in Him now.

So, if you will trust in Jesus you will have eternal life. And you will understand the true purpose of Passover. If you will trust in Jesus you will be changed from mortal to immortal at the resurrection. If you will do this then you will have a new spirit birthed in you that was never there before. If you will do this then you will be a child of God. If you will believe in Jesus eternal death will Passover you. If you will do this... then I will see you there or in the air!
