These pagan churches are parasites…..

In their 2008 book Pagan Christianity, authors Frank Viola and George Barna present the surprising origins of many of the practices commonly found in churches today. The authors of Pagan Christianity claim that many common church practices/traditions actually have their roots in paganism (non-Christian religions), not in the Bible. But is it accurate to claim that the practices of modern Christianity are pagan? Is what typically occurs in a church-supported by what the Bible teaches about the church?

Truth is they aren’t converting many to the true gospel, but instead making millions of false converts.

These modern churches with all the superstar performers are not preaching the gospel.
They are luring by entertainment.
The music attracts carnal people that for the most part want to stay in the world.

They aren’t filling up arenas from preaching the gospel of Christ-you know—the one that convicts you of your terrible sins and tells you to repent and take up your cross-THAT GOSPEL IS THE TRUE GOSPEL.
No, they are capturing an audience by being like the world.
The CCM music is what gets them in. You got to ask yourself- why are carnal, worldly people attracted to CCM? And why do they keep coming back for more?
It’s not for the all offending, separating from the world gospel preached.
No, it’s not that.
It’s because CCM is worldly. It is watered down and often the unsaved say-I didn’t know that was a ‘Christian’ song! Well, ya don’t say.
If the unbeliever can’t tell it’s sanctified- then it’s not sanctified.
That fact explains why the audience keeps coming back for more. They are merely an audience looking to be entertained-not new converts being disciplined in the things of God.

And what is the root of this apostasy that keeps all these ministries going?
The love of money is the bulk of this root.

1 Timothy 6:9-10
9 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Luke 16:13
No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other You cannot serve God and wealth Source

The Bible clearly declares that God’s Word is to be taught (1 Timothy 4:112 Timothy 4:2). There is undeniably a place for a godly man teaching other believers in a sermonic / oratory format. One problem is that many churches fall into the trap of one man being the sole teacher. Another problem is when churches, whether intentionally or unintentionally, convey the idea that passively listening to a sermon is all that God expects. In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul encourages Timothy to entrust teaching to others who are gifted by the Holy Spirit for teaching. The presence of a non-participatory sermon is not the problem. The lack of opportunities for others to teach and/or the lack of willingness to teach can be a problem. One of the goals of the church is to make disciples, not pew-warmers. Many churches could do a much better job of recognizing the gift of teaching in others and training and encouraging them to use that gift. At the same time, no one should seek the position of the teacher unless he really has been gifted by the Holy Spirit, a fact which can be verified by the testimony of others who can give witness to the presence of this gift. In fact, James 3:1 warns us, “Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.”

Jesus come quick, there is nothing left in society that’s sacred….

People’s hearts are troubled, their minds are in a state of confusion, the Bible tells us a time of great delusion that will come upon the people, that time has arrived, the politicians must come up with more significant and more believable lies in order to bring on the antichrist, we have entered the doorstep Tribulation.

“Unless God has raised you up for this very thing, you will be worn out by the opposition of man and devils”…

The Birth Pains Are Growing Stronger….

“Man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants.”

My name is Steve Meyers and I need to share a vision and warning that the Lord showed me back in April 2007….

Many of you will ask why I waited so long to share the warning. I didn’t. I shared the story with everyone that would listen from pastors to friends to family to colleagues. Immediately following the initial vision, I called a close friend. I told him to sit down that I had something to tell him. I needed it documented as I knew this was supernatural and from God. As I witness events unfolding today, I need to share the vision again.

The silencing of the American people before 2020?

“The human heart is an idol factory.”

The Un-Godly — Those That Suppress the Truth, the social media giants built multi-billion dollar empires by giving everyone a voice, but now that they have such a dominant position on the Internet they have decided that many prominent conservative voices should be completely silenced.

Our government has been overthrown. As evidenced by Trump’s capitulation on the border, his recent servitude to the GMO industry and his acquiescence to the warmongers, our President has been compromised. Our liberties are being eliminated one by one. Gun confiscation is next. The Constitution is gasping its last breaths. Our borders are destroyed and our culture has been turned upside down by every perversion known to man.

The prophet does not confuse truth with consensus. The prophet does not confuse God’s word with the word of those who happen to hold power at present, or with the opinion of the majority. This is because powerholders and the majority can fall victim to a lying spirit-and this means a power that actually seizes the majority of experts, the political leadership, and the public.

Thanks to people like Pastor Steven Anderson and the choir of preachers he has assembled within the New Independent Fundamentalist Baptist movement there has been a resurgence in what is called the Reprobate Doctrine. A Biblical doctrine that demonstrates in scripture, that God will turn people over to their vile lifestyles as a curse, blinding them to salvation in Jesus, giving them over to a devil’s hell for eternity. A doctrine that I believe is completely Biblical and defined by the Apostle Paul in Romans 1 is unmistakably visceral language.

Let Me Make This Abundantly Clear. (I Am Apolitical) While I Have a General Distaste for Politicians No Matter the Party They Belong To, I Am Unashamedly Politically a Bible Believing Conservative Christian. I Have a Severe Distrust of Government. I Believe It Is the Most Inefficient and Ineffective Way to Accomplish Most Things. While I Strongly Disagree with Liberals/Progressives and Conservative on Most Political Issues, and While I Believe Liberals/Progressives and Most Politicians Are Terribly Misguided and Naive About What Big Government Will Eventually Result In, I Strive to Not Question Their Motives. at the Same Time, While I Find Myself in Agreement with Conservative Politicians on Some Issues, I Do Not Believe Electing Republicans Is the Answer to Everything. for Me, Very Sadly, the Main Difference Between Republicans and Democrats Is How Quickly They Want to Drive the Car Towards the Cliff. Simply Put, I Do Not Believe the Government Is the Solution for Everything. I Do Not Place Any Faith, Trust, or Hope in Any Politicians to Fix What Is Wrong with the World. “Come Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20) The prophet does not confuse truth with consensus. This may be mostly an organizational thing, but I notice accusations against churches seemingly on the basis of “light shows” and “entertainment” that follow an introduction about modern practices that have roots in paganism – with no specific description delineating what those practices are beyond mention of the entertainment and the light-show spectacle. I am wondering how the flashy, showy stuff is linked to specific pagan practices, assuming you mean Roman-era historical pagan practices.
I see your noting that such churches are not converting many to the true gospel of Christ as a fallacy because our work is obedience to proclaim the gospel and to urge the lost to obey the gospel – that burden is light and that yoke is easy – with the great work of converting a work that is done by the Holy Ghost.
It is the commandment of Christ for God’s people to preach the gospel, and luring by entertainment may often result in a watered-down presentation that barely or does not at all approximate preaching as we are commanded, and that seems to be your observation and point.
I would urge you to consider a more organized and positive approach to expressing this and its application to our priorities as the body of Christ first, and perhaps with a great sense of respect for all our brothers and sisters in Christ who are the bride of Christ with us.
If you intend to denounce groups as false believers, or to expose certain wicked leaders and false teachers, that would probably be best done as a specific work, exposing the fraud – organizing again a better presentation that includes the specific false teachings and specific examples that demonstrate gospel falsehood, a different gospel other than what was delivered – oh, and please name names.
These general accusations are like the disorganization of a scatter-gun, and I think it lacks the aim required to not hit some of our brothers and sisters in Christ, who perhaps should take a measure of warning to not be so like the entertainment world in their ministries, but who do preach and teach the true gospel.

I think that the article is good but church is not about the sermon, at least from my perspective(Catholic).

Draw your own conclusions, the Bible speaks to each one of us differently, you probably should keep that in mind. SRH……

      • Tony on April 13, 2019 at 12:49 pm

Yes but who is right? All cannot be right. You recently sent an article about Rick Warren. If he reads the Bible and he is looking at it differently, from either of us, then is he correct in his interpretations?

What to say to a Pharisee troll-

very nice. I often wonder about trolling behavior, now you will see a Biblical perspective. You’re a Pharisee, always asking questions but never accepting an answer, stop trolling or move on to another site that will allow you to make a fool of yourself in front of the world……

            1. I accept you answer but that does not mean that I have to believe it.
            2. I would like to see your biblical perspective but why would you not accept my biblical perspective? What makes yours better than mine or mine better than yours?
            3. i accept being a fool for the sake of Christ and His Holy Gospel.

“Yes but who is right? All cannot be right”
There are dozens of bible verses that Paul warns us about concerning false teachers, deception, & the importance of doctrine to distinguish the wolves from the sheep. When something or someone twists or comes against the Word of God, (what you consider to be the TRUTH in scripture), only prayer & asking for the “Spirit of Truth to lead and guide you into all truth” will you be able to overcome in Jesus Christ

          • Tony on April 14, 2019 at 7:01 am

But would not Our Lord have given us a mechanism in order to determine what the truth is and what it is not? I believe that He did and this is an authoritative teaching Church.
Mt 16:18-19 – upon this rock I will build my Church
Mt 18:17 – if he refuses to listen even to the Church…
Mt 28:18-20 – go baptize and teach all nations
Mk 16:15-16 – go to whole world and proclaim gospel
Lk 10:16 – whoever hears you, hears me; rejects you, rejects me.
Jn 14:16, 26 – Holy Spirit with you always, teach/remind you of everything
Jn 16:13 – Spirit of truth will guide you to all truth.
1Tim 3:15 – Church is the pillar and foundation of truth.

    • Alexandet on April 13, 2019 at 5:06 pm

Jesus said unless a man be born again he cannot enter the kingdom of God traditions will not save your soul!

      • Tony on April 14, 2019 at 7:06 am

        1. Yes, one must be born again and this happens at Baptism
Jn 3:5, 22 – born of water & Spirit: Apostles begin baptizing
Tit 3:5 – saved us through bath of rebirth & renewal by Holy Spirit
Acts 2:37-38 – repent, be baptized, receive gift of Holy Spirit
Acts 22:16 – get selves baptized and sins washed away
1Cor 6:11 – you were washed, sanctified, justified
Rom 6:4 – baptized into death; live in newness of life
        1Pet 3:21 – baptism…now saves you
Heb 10:22 – heart sprinkled, bodies washed in pure water
Ezk 36:24-28 – God promises to unite Himself to His people through a regenerative washing in pure water by the power of the Holy Spirit

        2. Traditions, with a capital “T,” are part of what we need to have as being authoritative.
1Cor 11:2 – hold fast to traditions I handed on to you
2Thess 2:15 – hold fast to traditions, whether oral or by letter
2Thess 3:6 – shun those acting not according to tradition
Jn 21:25 – not everything Jesus said recorded in Scripture

Saying that Traditions will not save you is the same thing as saying that the Bible will not save you. I think that we would both agree with that. Neither will save us but Our Lord Jesus Christ will. May He be praised, loved, and glorified, for ever and ever!!
