A physician and former health official has stated that a “bird flu” outbreak will kill 52% of the population and urged the Biden administration to start a large vaccination drive prior to the inauguration of President Donald Trump next month.
As one of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) “Young Global Leaders,” former Baltimore health commissioner Dr. Leana Wen is urging the FDA to provide an emergency authorization to quickly implement mRNA “vaccines” for “bird flu.”
Wen is pressing President Biden to increase quick testing for “bird flu” and use his executive authority to direct the FDA to approve the “vaccine.”
She contends that the strategy must be implemented prior to President Trump’s inauguration.
Wen stated that the Biden administration should take action to get ready for a potential animal-to-human avian influenza (H5N1) spread during an appearance on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” on Sunday.
“Dr. Wen, is human bird flu extremely dangerous?” Major Garrett, the host, inquired.
In response, Wen asserted that “World Health Organization estimates” indicate that “the mortality rate is 52%.”
She called after hearing earlier this month that a patient in Louisiana had contracted the virus.
“This is another indication that the bird flu drumbeat is getting closer to people and posing a serious threat,” Wen stated.
This year, we have already witnessed epidemics of avian flu in several animal species that are close to humans.
All 50 states are experiencing poultry epidemics.
There are livestock epidemics in 16 states.
“In California, over 300 herds have tested positive in the past 30 days, and we currently have 66 human cases of bird flu. This is most likely a significant undercount because we have not been conducting nearly enough testing.”
