Are Peaceful Protesters on DHS Watch List? The Department of Homeland Security Has Warned That Canadian-Style Truck Protestors Are on Their Way to the Capital
In Joe Biden’s America, attempting to cancel Joe Rogan is just counter-terror policy.
This is because our ruling class — in the name of “defending democracy” — classifies those who question the regime on any matter of consequence as a threat to the homeland, and pledges to pursue them accordingly.
Our ruling elites have engaged in an overt war on wrongthink masquerading as a domestic counter-terror mission since at least Jan. 6, 2021.
As part of this effort, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently issued a speech-chilling National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin.
It claims the U.S. is in a “heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information.”
The "widespread internet propagation of incorrect or misleading narratives involving... COVD-19," according to the report, is one of the biggest contributors to the present "threat climate."
On this topic, it appears that the Biden administration considers Rogan, who uses ivermectin and drinks tequila and supports Bernie Sanders, to be public enemy number one.
Rogan found himself the target of a cancel campaign orchestrated by washed-up musicians, non-medical doctors, and corporate media whose ratings he has crushed shortly after hosting dissenters from COVID orthodoxy on his podcast, including Drs. Peter McCullough and the then-recently deplatformed Robert Malone.
But it wasn't simply these groups who were looking for a fight.
The president of the United States, his press secretary, and his surgeon general all joined the anti-Rogan crusade, calling for a war against COVID "misinformation and disinformation."
To put it plainly, this attempt was deceptive. Because the White House and its media mouthpieces have been the most potent and prolific producers of "misinformation" by their own criteria, we know how seriously to take the administration's views on COVID "misinformation and disinformation."
The government has flipped-flopped on nearly every element of the coronavirus, including statements that its social media aides used to block people. It did so not because "science" has evolved, but rather because politics has evolved.
The Biden White House claims that its opponents are harmful – not to the public, but to the administration's rule, as if the administration's rule is akin to America or democracy itself, as Dr. Anthony Fauci is to science.
The "proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which promote division or weaken public faith in U.S. government institutions," according to the DHS advisory, is the first significant cause of the "heightened threat environment."
Never mind what those government institutions have done to promote dissension or damage public trust, such as asking for individuals to be censored on Twitter and Facebook.
The true scourge is the critics, the dissidents – those without a monopoly on force or multibillion-dollar budgets.
The bulletin lists "false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud" as another potential threat, perpetuating the "insurgency" narrative so central to the effort to persecute wrongthinkers, while ignoring the fact that Democrats' own election integrity-eroding measures eroded confidence in the system.
Previous Biden-era bulletins focused on COVID-19 and election integrity, but the most recent one — in an unexpected twist — also alleges that calls for violence are linked to dissatisfaction over "the evacuation and resettlement of Afghan people following the US military exit from Afghanistan."
So it's not just doubts about the wisdom of dumping unvetted refugees from a terror-infested backwater into the middle of your town that could get you in trouble with the security state, but also doubts about the wisdom of dumping unvetted refugees from a terror-infested backwater into the middle of your town.
This danger advisory, like its equally alarming predecessors, stems from the Biden administration's groundbreaking National Strategy to Combat Domestic Terrorism.
Long-term factors to domestic terrorism must be confronted, according to this strategy, which includes:
"... restoring public trust in governance and tackling excessive division caused by a disinformation and misinformation crisis... We'll seek to identify measures to limit the power and impact of harmful conspiracy theories, which may serve as a springboard for terrorist attacks."
Clearly, linking non-conformist speech to terrorism and using that excuse to control thinking — with an armed "Ministry of Truth" working out of our national security and law enforcement infrastructure — is "counter-terror" policy.
Casting opponents as terrorists and threatening to impose the world's most powerful, omnipresent, and sophisticated security state on them is about frightening democratic opposition into silence and conformity to an official narrative, not about preserving democracy or safeguarding the truth.
To preserve a monopoly on power, the government appears to feel it has to retain a monopoly on the American mind.
Joe Rogan posed a threat to that power, and hence posed a threat. The fear was that he would extract ideas from guests challenging the regime's legitimacy on a variety of COVID-related matters, and millions of people would hear it.
Thousands of truckers decided to protest, with many staying in the capital of Canada, blaring horns, and engaging in celebrations of freedom. Five Canadian provinces, including Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec, have lifted or announced plans to remove their COVID-19 vaccination mandates, while others have eased some of their COVID-19-related restrictions. Premiers of Ontario and Quebec insist that the easing of the restrictions in their provinces is not related to the protests.
The US Capitol Police have beefed up security in Washington, DC in anticipation of a series of truck convoys protesting Covid-19 limits and vaccination requirements during President Joe Biden's State of the Union speech, similar to Ottawa's 'Freedom Convoy.'
The US Capitol Police said in a statement on Friday that regional law enforcement organizations were "informed of intentions for a series of truck convoys coming in Washington, DC around the time of the State of the Union."
"As with any demonstration, the USCP will enable legitimate First Amendment activity," the cops assured, adding that they were working with the DC Metropolitan Police Department, the US Secret Service, and the National Guard, among others, to beef up security.
"Specialized teams" will be activated in Washington, DC starting Tuesday, according to a News Nation article citing anonymous sources, and around 500 cops per day would be available to respond to protests.
District Police have been canceling time off for officers between February 22 and March 5 in preparation for the protests, according to the publication.
Protesters "possibly intending to block roadways in major metropolitan centers in the United States in protest of, among other things, vaccination mandates," according to a document from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released this month.
"The convoy might start as early as mid-February in California, potentially disrupting the Super Bowl on February 13 and the State of the Union speech on March 1," according to the document.
Since late last month, Canadian truckers have been demonstrating in Ottawa over Covid-19 regulations and mandates. In response, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declared an emergency this week, and Ottawa Police used force to disperse protestors, detaining dozens on Friday.
More information about the routes will be published two or three days ahead of time "as safety dictates," but "you can anticipate us to go along I-40 and work our way up towards D.C.," according to Brian Brase, one of the main organizers of The People's Convoy.
For the past five years, Brase has been active in several rallies against overregulation in the trucking business.
As they approach the capital, several parties will join the procession.
"It may have started with truckers standing up." But there's a reason this is known as 'The People's Convoy.' "This is for every American, regardless of where they came from or their personal history," Brase added. "This is something that everyone should be a part of." This isn't a right-wing or a left-wing issue. This is a national issue in the United States. This convoy is open to everyone. It [doesn't] matter if it's moms in soccer vans, motorbikes, or hippy buses. This is for everyone who believes in their personal liberties as a human being and as an American, personal freedoms guaranteed by the United States Constitution."
"Bring the golf carts, come the mopeds, bring everyone, this is for everyone," he continued. "It's a convoy for the people!" It is for the benefit of the people."
Official updates will be released on thepeoplesconvoy.org, as well as their Facebook and Gettr pages, according to Brase.
They put up three separate ways to take donations by credit card, PayPal, or bitcoin after observing the troubles the Canadian convoy faced with their GoFundMe page. The donations will be handled by the nonprofit American Foundation for Civil Liberties and Freedom, which is backed by private banks and staffed by accountants and attorneys who will manage and distribute the funds.
Some of their ideas are still being kept "close to the vest," but the organizers will provide updates as the event progresses.
Another purpose of the campaign is to make government officials accountable for their actions during the epidemic in the service of public health. "Congressional hearings, as to numerous things: why the measures were done the way they were taken, what science did they employ to [back up] their actions," Brase said.
"Senate hearings and things like judicial hearings through the Senate and the House," Brase said, "to get to the bottom of the source of the COVID-19 pandemic, how it started, where it started exactly, and who's responsible for the steps of [the] mandates and shutting down people who have scientific facts that contradict what the CDC or the World Health Organization has said."
Dr. Ryan Cole, the founder of Cole Diagnostics, has publicly expressed his support for the Washington convoy.
"We have a team of 17,000 physicians on our side." "The white coat stood with the blue-collar," Brase stated, alluding to a petition signed by over 17,000 doctors organized by Dr. Robert Malone to evaluate the COVID-19 story.
The truckers are currently working on security standards and a code of behavior for participants, which will be posted on their website in the coming days. They also have backup plans in case they get stuck anywhere along the journey.
Brase suspects that troublemakers are already trying to infiltrate the caravan.
"The main line is that we're not breaking any laws." We're standing up for what we believe in. We are citizens of the United States, and we have the freedom to assemble. We're also going on a march. "It's no different than any of the peaceful marches that have taken place in the United States throughout the generations," Brase remarked.
"Everything we can to foster a calm environment has been done." We have no intention of overthrowing the government or influencing election outcomes... That's not who we are. We're just here to be acknowledged as Americans who want our Constitution of the United States to be honored."
They want the emergency powers statute, which was enacted in reaction to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) infection, repealed, because mandates may readily be reinstalled if they are rescinded.
"If we can halt [the emergency powers], they'll have to struggle to get that legislation reinstated, and at that time, everyone will be ready to rise up and fight to prevent that act from being reinstated."
Leigh Dundas, a human rights attorney, is serving as a clearinghouse for information in order to achieve the convoy's aims in a "100% peaceful, law-abiding," and "successful" manner.
The protest's purpose, according to Dundas, is to deal with the matter at "the root level."
"The message is that the misuse of emergency powers that we've seen numerous states and the federal government engage in over the previous almost two years must end." "The state of emergency must be lifted; there is no longer an emergency," Dundas stated.
"Because if we just remove one mandate after another, we're just whacking a mole and not going to the source of the problem, which is the emergency powers that were activated in March of 2020." As a result, they must come to an end, and we must return to normalcy. Any players that were not acting correctly at the governmental level must have their independence and accountability restored."
She stated that they do not anticipate any police blockades along the route.
"We're mostly travelling through Republican states," Dundas explained.
"We don't anticipate these states to blockade us because it would cause a traffic congestion for them, and we expect to engage with local and state agencies to maintain a smooth flow of traffic as we travel across the United States."
The convoy was inspired by the Freedom Convoy 2022, which began in Canada after the country's Public Health Agency announced that only fully vaccinated truck drivers would be allowed to cross the US–Canada border beginning Jan. 15, and the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced similar requirements for non-US national truckers crossing into the US beginning Jan. 22.
