The United Nations heavily criticized the Vatican on Wednesday for what it said was a systematic adoption of policies allowing priests to rape and sexually abuse tens of thousands of children.
The devastating report published by the U.N. Committee on the Rights of a Child said the Vatican must “immediately remove” all known or suspected child abusers within the clergy.
It said the Holy See had “systematically placed preservation of the reputation of the church and the alleged offender over the protection of child victims.”
In response, the Vatican said in a statement published on its website that some points made in the report were an “attempt to interfere with Catholic Church teaching.”
The Vatican said it would examine the report thoroughly and reiterated its commitment to defending and protecting child rights in accordance with the U.N. guidelines and “the moral and religious values offered by Catholic doctrine.”
The U.N.’s conclusions come after an unprecedented hearing in Geneva on Jan. 16 in which Vatican representatives were questioned by the U.N. committee.
Its recommendations are non-binding and the U.N. has given the Vatican until 2017 to report back. It criticized the institution for submitting its last report 14 years late.
“Well-known child sexual abusers have been transferred from parish to parish or to other countries in an attempt to cover-up such crimes,” the report said.
It later added: “Due to a code of silence imposed on all members of the clergy under penalty of ex-communication, cases of child sexual abuse have hardly ever been reported to the law enforcement authorities in the countries where such crimes occurred.”
The U.N. report also denounced the Holy See for its attitudes toward homosexuality, contraception, and abortion.

A new report reveals Pope Francis is quietly making the Catholic church a safe space for pedophile priests.
The Associated Press reports that Pope Francis is reducing sanctions against pedophile priests, and even refusing to defrock priests found guilty of sexually abusing children, all in the name of mercy.
In one particularly egregious case, Francis let off one notorious pedophile priest, Rev. Mauro Inzoli, with just a lifetime of prayer for abusing five young boys.
The Associated Press reports about the Pope’s leniency towards pedophile priests: One case has come back to haunt him: An Italian priest who received the pope’s clemency was later convicted by an Italian criminal court for his sex crimes against children as young as 12. The Rev. Mauro Inzoli is now facing a second church trial after new evidence emerged against him, The Associated Press has learned.
The Inzoli case is one of several in which Francis overruled the advice of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and reduced a sentence that called for the priest to be defrocked, two canon lawyers and a church official told AP. Instead, the priests were sentenced to penalties including a lifetime of penance and prayer and removal from public ministry.
The report notes that by refusing to punish pedophile priests Francis is going against the recommendations of his advisers in an attempt to show “mercy.”
In an attempt to justify the Pope’s refusal to fully punish pedophile priests in the name of “mercy,” Vatican spokesman Greg Burke said:

The Pope is worried about the money it is costing the church instead of the Young lives being ripped apart by the spiritual abuse of the clergy. Where is the Pope’s compassion for the children? There are numerous biblical principles that definitely apply to this sin. One such principle is the Bible’s view of the sin of fornication. The word translated “fornication” has the same idea in both the Hebrew and the Greek. The Greek word is porneia, from which we get the English words porno and pornography. The word in Scripture refers to any illicit sexual activity, and this would have to include the abhorrent acts of a pedophile—including the gathering and trading of obscene or indecent pictures of young children. People who use this type of pornography usually graduate from looking to actually doing, bringing great harm to children. Fornication is among the “lusts of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16–21) and among the evil things that come from the heart of a man apart from God (Mark 7:21–23).
Pedophiles share the characteristic of being “without natural affection” (Romans 1:31; 2 Timothy 3:2). The phrase “without natural affection” is translated from one Greek word, which means “inhuman, unloving, and unsociable.” One without natural affection acts in ways that are against the social norm. This would certainly describe a pedophile.
In addition, there is a principle found in Jesus’ words about children. Jesus used a child to teach His disciples that childlike faith is necessary for entrance into the kingdom of heaven. At the same time, He said that the Father has concern for all of His “little ones” (Matthew 18:1–14). In that passage, Jesus says, “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it was better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and that he was drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:6, KJV). The word offends in the Greek means “to cause one to stumble, to put a stumbling block or impediment in the way, upon which another may trip and fall, to entice to sin, or to cause a person to begin to distrust and desert one whom he ought to trust and obey.”
These definitions of the word offend can easily be applied to the actions of a pedophile. Of course, the principle of not harming a child can be applied to a wide range of child-abusive actions, and Matthew 18:10makes the case against anyone who would bring any type of harm to a child.

Pope John Paul II claimed that the Rosary took form “under the guidance of the Spirit of God.” There is NO proof to substantiate this claim. On the contrary, the Word of God makes no mention whatsoever about praying to Mary. In fact, the Bible never elevates Mary in any capacity, nor does it lead us to recognize her in any way. So why do Catholics elevate Mary when the Word of God doesn’t?
Why does the Catholic Church call Mary the “Queen of Heaven,” a term from ancient Babylonian pagan worship (Jeremiah 7:18). Clearly, someone is lying, and it’s not God (Romans 3:4). The Rosary is just another manmade tradition of Catholicism.
I was at a wedding 15 months ago, and one of the family members was Catholic. I asked what she thought of Pope Francis, she was cool with him. I told her she need to “do due diligence” on him. I know there are true believers in the Catholic church, but all Catholics need to “do due diligence” on the real believes and what the present pope is saying. Time to move on, or help get him out of the church!
As I said, even the Pharisees of Jesus’ day weren’t so arrogant as to believe they could actually forgive a person’s sins. Who’s proud? The Catholic Church LIES to people, by deceiving it’s victims into believing that Jesus didn’t mean what He said.
For Catholics to differentiate between the Pharisees of Jesus’ day, and the religious leaders of today, is absurd! Religious leaders are not to be recognized as anything more than sinful men, who have no special power with God. Even the greatest men of God, such as the Apostle Paul, are still sinners, unable to forgive anyone’s sin. The Catholic Church says one thing, but does another.
Believers, whether they are “leaders” in the church or not, are not sinners. Paul says it this way. “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”
The notion that believers are still sinners comes from the pagan foundational doctrines of Roman Catholicism. Her doctor of theology Augustine taught that the flesh is evil because of original sin. And that because it is a part of the flesh the normal Christian life is one of continual sinning. But, John taught saying, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”1John3:9.
So we see from this example that it is the pagan foundational doctrines brought into the rc and e/p religions by Augustine that the true believer must free themselves from. Only then can we begin to understand the truth about who God is, who Jesus is, and what the atonement is for.

I’m always amazed and saddened at the ignorance of Catholics. I mean, Matthew 23:9 forbids us from calling any man “Father” (i.e., to respect men as God); yet, this is exactly what Catholics call their priest.
Victims of Catholicism have even been brainwashed to believe that their priests can forgive sin. We know from 1st Timothy 2:5 that they are LIARS, because ONLY Jesus can forgive sin.

They claim to be against the later traditions of the rcc while adhering to all of her foundational doctrines. A false foundation which Jesus said makes the entire house collapse. Which means that by clinging to her false foundational doctrines their house is as corrupt as hers.
So you are right that the Bible calls those who claim the name of Christ out from her. But, He is also standing at the door and knocking to have those who have been deceived by her come and sup with Him. Something that the rcc and her daughter e/p’s have yet to do.

The chanting of the Roman Catholic Rosary is VAIN REPETITION!!! It is exactly what God hates. God is not impressed with such empty and meaningless prayers. Some Catholics try to justify vain repetitious prayers with Scriptures such as Matthew 26:44, “And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.” But, asking God three times for the same thing, is very different than mumbling the same dead words (the Rosary) over and over for a lifetime.
Furthermore, this was not the norm when Jesus prayed. There are times in our life where we will want to keep asking God for something; but, that is certainly not the same as mumbling the same WRITTEN, dead, repetitious, religious, words over and over. A Catholic repeats 52 “Hail Mary” in each DAILY Rosary prayer. Jesus clearly states that the “heathen” pray with useless repetitions. Since Catholics claim that their repetitious Rosary prayers are not “vain repetitions”; then I ask, who was Jesus speaking about? Do you realize that a faithful Catholic who prayers the Rosary every day, will in a lifetime say “Hail Mary” well over 1,000,000 times!!! Think about it.
And yet, not one mention is made of the name of Jesus Christ in the Rosary. Like it or not, the Word of God condemns formalized religion. It is abundantly clear that the nuns who are chanting the Rosary (which you are now hearing) are praying with VAIN REPETITIONS.
What you wrote is very true. But, only speaks to the symptoms of the disease, and not the disease itself. To the house she has built, and not the foundation upon which the house is built. Which as I’m sure you know, is that her foundational doctrines about who God is, who Jesus is, and what the atonement is for, which her daughter e/p religions cling to as well, are all pagan.
So her repetitious rosary is vain not just because it is repetitious. But, also because it is being repeated by people who appear to have a form of godliness but deny it’s power. 2Tim.3:5. How appropriate to her are the words we read in Rev.18:4, “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
