The Global Persecution Of Christians

Today is one of the International Days of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP). Initiated over 20 years ago by the World Evangelical Alliance, 100,000 congregations around the world and millions of Christians participate on this day.

“This November let us unite in prayer for our persecuted brothers and sisters,” IDOP noted in a brief video that highlights a few examples of recent persecution, including the Easter Sunday church bombings in Sri Lanka and the ongoing slaughter of Christians by Islamic groups in Nigeria and, increasingly, Burkina Faso.

Discussing this day’s significance, Vernon Brewer, the CEO and founder of World Help, a Christian humanitarian organization, wrote:

It’s easy to go about our lives and forget that in places like Nigeria, Iran and North Korea being a Christian can often lead to death. After all, for the most part, persecution for our faith isn’t something most of us face… But I can’t forget the believers I’ve met in Iraq, China or at the North Korean border. I can’t forget their scars or their haunted eyes and horrific stories… The more I travel, the more I see that in many countries Christian persecution is worse than ever before.”

Statistics bear out this grim assertion: “4,136 Christians were killed for faith-related reasons,” noted Open Doors in its World Watch List 2019. “On average, that’s 11 Christians killed every day for their faith.” Additionally, “2,625 Christians were detained without trial, arrested, sentenced and imprisoned” and “1,266 churches or Christian buildings were attacked.”

The report further states that more than 245 million Christians around the world are currently suffering from persecution. In other words, “1 in 9 Christians experience high levels of persecution worldwide.”

Typically women fare worse: “In many places, they experience a ‘double persecution’— one for being a Christian and one for being a woman.” As for specific numbers: “At least six women every day are raped, sexually harassed or forced into marriage to a Muslim man under the threat of death for their Christian faith…”

The “Independent Review into the global persecution of Christians,” led by Rev. Philip Mounstephen, the Bishop of Truro, and published in early 2019, states:

“Evidence shows not only the geographic spread of anti-Christian persecution, but also its increasing severity. In some regions, the level and nature of persecution is arguably coming close to meeting the international definition of genocide, according to that adopted by the UN.”

The bishop’s detailed report, which was commissioned by then British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt, concluded that the persecution of Christians is near “genocide” levels.

Both studies make clear that most of the persecution occurs in the Muslim world. In seven of the top ten worst nations, “the primary cause of persecution is Islamic oppression,” notes Open Doors. Additionally, 38 of the 50 nations that persecute Christians the most are Muslim-majority.

The Bishop of Truro’s report gives specifics:

  • “The persecution of Christians is perhaps at its most virulent in the region of the birthplace of Christianity — the Middle East & North Africa.”
  • “Christianity now faces the possibility of being wiped-out in parts of the Middle East where its roots go back furthest. In Palestine, Christian numbers are below 1.5 percent; in Syria, the Christian population has declined from 1.7 million in 2011 to below 450,000 and in Iraq, Christian numbers have slumped from 1.5 million before 2003 to below 120,000 today.”
  • “In countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Saudi Arabia the situation of Christians and other minorities has reached an alarming stage.”
  • “[T]here is mass violence which regularly expresses itself through the bombing of churches, as has been the case in countries such as Egypt, Pakistan, and Indonesia.”
  • “The single greatest threat to Christians [in Nigeria] … came from Islamist militant group Boko Haram, with US intelligence reports in 2015 suggesting that 200,000 Christians were at risk of being killed… Those worst affected included Christian women and girls ‘abducted, and forced to convert, enter forced marriages, sexual abuse and torture.'”
  • “An intent to erase all evidence of the Christian presence [in Syria, Iraq, Egypt, north-east Nigeria and the Philippines] was made plain by the removal of crosses, the destruction of Church buildings and other Church symbols. The killing and abduction of clergy represented a direct attack on the Church’s structure and leadership.”

Outside the Muslim world, the persecution of Christians is also getting significantly worse, particularly North Korea, where “never-ending pressure and violence” is directed against Christians. In India, for the first time in modern history, Christians are experiencing “extreme persecution.”

In the end, numbers and statistics will never adequately capture the magnitude of the problem. “Too many to count, too many unknown,” states the video by International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, “All because they bear the name of Jesus.”

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. [Matthew 24:9-13] Source

Reaping What We’ve Sown

freedom of speech

Because we have allowed the censorship of our public officials, our teachers, our elected representatives and our judges of expressing their faith in public, the predictable is happening: a generation of young people growing up with very little understanding of the spiritual principles on which our country was founded.

Cultural Marxism has crept into the mainstream and now our culture teaches our children and many adults that right and wrong are arbitrary – subjective – changing.

Many people today have willfully and philosophically turned away from the covenantal vision and biblical principles of our Founders and have been promoting as ‘constitutional’ those things which God condemns (Matt. 24:10). Our society now openly endorses the killing of babieshomosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle, and encourages the pagan worship of Mother Earth.

The Scriptures state that “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” (Psalm 33:12). The nation who honors the one true Jehovah God will experience His blessings of protection, provision, peace, and stability. But, as Pastor Jeremiah Wright said, governments change and “America has failed.” This nation has changed from one honoring God to one that has forsaken God and as a result, we can see in our families, our schools, the inner-cities, our government, our national security, our Constitutional rights, indeed in all areas of our lives, the removal of Gods blessing.

The demise of morality, the loss of our freedom, the crime in our streets, increased drug use, the poverty in the inner-cities, the war zones in our homes and the violence of our children is a result of our disobedience to the Word of God and will not improve until we take responsibility for our actions.

Contrary to liberal propaganda, we don’t have an economic problem, we have a problem with our spirit. We have willfully and systematically rejected God and as a result, we are now experiencing the fruit of that sin.

The Battle for the Hearts and Minds of Christians

Across our country today and indeed around the world, there is a battle being waged by those who hate Christ and the truth contained in the Bible (Matt. 24:9). The scheme is a propaganda campaign that depersonalizes and minimizes Christians. Depersonalization makes it easier for people to accept negative stereotypes, pigeonholed, and, in the extreme, tolerate abuse and persecution of the people who have been depersonalized. The historical precedent for this can be found in Nero’s treatment of Christians, racism in all forms, and Hitler’s treatment of the Jews.

Secularists appear to have agreed upon three specific mechanisms to complete the task of immobilizing and silencing Christians. You can find evidence of these strategies in your own communities and schools.

1. Deny our Judeo-Christian roots and rewrite our historical record.
Children in public schools never hear the expressions of faith made by the founders of our country. They celebrate the pilgrim’s first Thanksgiving but are not told to whom those early settlers were thankful. Christ and His church have been banned and any mention of Christianity is forbidden.

2. Convince the American people that Christians are in violation of the Constitution.
Liberal activists would have us believe our founding fathers were terrified at the prospect of Christians participating in the political process. This led them, we’re told, to establish a wall of separation between church and state. But no such provision appears in the Constitution or any of the foundational documents. The principle of separation of church and state is found only in one of Jefferson’s letters, and referred, not to the exclusion of religious people from government, but to the protection of religion from governmental interference.

“[The religious right] are demanding their rightful seat at the table, and that is what the American people fear the most.

Liberals in Congress formed a so-called “Radical Right Task Force” in 1994, paid for with American tax dollars. This “Task Force” met in the U.S. Capitol to plan how to intimidate Christians from going to the polls and to deny churches tax-exempt status if they distribute Christian voter education literature. They have focused on “non-profit groups vs. Advocacy groups” and “when do non-profits cross the line and become advocacy groups?” The proposed laws that provide tax exemptions for non-profit groups but not for advocacy groups.

“People of traditional faith have become effective, and this makes the left quake.”

3. Embarrass, insult, shout down and mischaracterize Christians, hoping to intimidate them into silence.
Those who reject Jesus will also shun Christians, for faithful believers carry the presence of the Holy Spirit who brings conviction of sin as well as God’s love. Any mention of sin grates against today’s relativistic values and the kind of “freedom” where anything goes. That’s why Christians, who are “the aroma of Christ” to believers, are also “the smell of death to those who are perishing.” They hate the true Jesus.

To the Hightech Christ Haters: They Perverted Justice Among Themselves (V. 7): “You Turn Judgment to Wormwood, That Is, You Make Your Administrations of Justice Bitter and Nauseous, and Highly Displeasing Both to God and Man.’’ That Fruit Has Become a Weed, a Weed in the Garden; As Nothing Is More Venerable, Nothing More Valuable, Than Justice Duly Administered, so Nothing Is More Hurtful, Nothing More Abominable, Than Designedly Doing Wrong Under Color and Pretense of Doing Right. Corruptio Optimi EST Pessima —the Best, When Corrupted, Becomes the Worst.

It is impossible to find anyone in the Bible who was a power for God and was not hated….

The bombings in Sri Lanka have once again put a spotlight on the rising tide of violence against Christians all over the world.  According to Open Doors USA, an average of 105 churches and/or Christian buildings are burned or attacked every month.  That is more than three per day, and almost all of those attacks get ignored by the mainstream media in the western world.  In addition, an average of 345 Christians is killed for faith-related reasons every single month.  Of course, these numbers will soon be out of date, because violence against Christians continues to escalate all over the globe, and the horrifying attacks that we just witnessed in Sri Lanka are a perfect example.  The following comes from CBS News

A series of eight bombings in Sri Lanka targeting Christian churches and hotels in three cities killed at least 207 people and wounded up to 450 others on Easter Sunday. Defense Minister Ruwan Wijewardene described the coordinated blasts as a terrorist attack by religious extremists.

More specifically, the attackers were Muslim extremists.

Why does the mainstream media have to be so politically correct all the time?

Of course, this comes right on the heels of the fire that almost destroyed the Notre Dame Cathedral.  Authorities are still attempting to determine the cause of that fire, but we do know that many other churches have been hit by vandals and arsonists in France since the beginning of February

Vandals and arsonists have targeted French churches in a wave of attacks that has lasted nearly two months.

More than 10 churches have been hit since the beginning of February, with some set on fire while others were severely desecrated or damaged.

In an apparent attempt to copy what happened at Notre Dame, a deranged philosophy professor was caught bringing gas cans and lighter fluid to St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York

George Gardner of College Hill United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kansas said, “The evangelical Christian right does not represent the religion of America. We have to deal with the Christian evangelical religious right that would take the love of God and turn it into the wrath of God … that would take the equality of men, women, and children and would turn it into a male-dominated hierarchy that would subjugate women and intimidate children.”

Leading political and cultural groups have mounted a campaign to misrepresent and discredit the religious right in hopes of undermining the growing political influence of religious conservatives.

President Bill Clinton called religious conservatives “obstructionist right-wing fanatics” who embrace a message of “hate and fear.” Hillary Clinton claimed that those who were bringing charges against her husband for his extra-marital sexual adventures are part of a “Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy” or simply are prejudiced against anyone from Arkansas. Texas governor Ann Richards labeled them “mongers of hate” who “preach their anger” and “have turned the party of Lincoln into the party of Operation Rescue.” Also, Congressman, Vic Fazio, chairman of the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee, said the “intolerant,” religious right wants “to carry views that are distinctly religious over into government and try to impose them as law” using “stealth candidates” and “subterranean tactics” to advance its ruthless agenda. U.S. Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders spoke of the “unchristian religious right” as “those people who are selling our children out in the name of religion.” Writing on the op-ed page of the New York Times, Robert H. Meneilly writes, “The religious right confronts us with a threat far greater than the old threat of Communism.”

The Christian Right has oftentimes been compared with Nazism and they point out that Nazis were Christian. But, were they?

Martin Borman was a very high Nazi official in Hitler’s government and he wrote,

“National Socialism and Christian concepts are irreconcilable. The Christian churches build upon man’s ignorance and are endeavoring to keep the greatest number of people in a state of ignorance….Our National Socialist concept of the world is on a far higher plane than are the ideas of Christianity, whose essential points have been taken from the Jews. For that reason too, we have no need of Christianity…..” (The NAZI YEARS, Joachim Remak, pp. 103-104, Prentice-Hall, 1969)

Ludwig Von Mises described socialism under the Nazi’s [increasingly similar in America].

“There are, however, no longer entrepreneurs but only shop managers (Betriebsfuhrer). These shop managers do the buying and selling, pay the workers, contract debts, and pay interest and amortization. There is no labor market; wages and salaries are fixed by the government [Labor unions, minimum wage]. The government tells the shop managers what and how to produce [FDA, OSHA], at what prices and from whom to buy, at what prices and to whom to sell. The government decrees to whom and under what terms the capitalists must entrust their funds and where and at what wages laborers must work. Market exchange is only a sham. All the prices, wages, and interest rates are fixed by the central authority [Federal Reserve]. They are prices, wages, and interest rates in appearance only; in reality, they are merely determinations of quantity relations in the government’s orders. The government, not the consumers, directs the production. This is socialism in the outward guise of capitalism. Some labels of the capitalistic market economy are retained but they mean something entirely different from what they mean in a genuine market economy.” (Omnipotent Government, Ludwig Von Mises, p. 56) [emphasis added by author]

Any Christian who has stood his ground on Biblical faith has grown uncomfortably accustomed to being called all sorts of names:

  • Judgmental or Biggot: People say, “You criticize our way – you don’t think we’re good enough for God!” (Romans 3:23-24)
  • Arrogant: “You think you’re better than us – that you have found the only way to eternal life!” (John 14:6)
  • Narrow-minded: “You think you have the only handle on the truth. If you practiced the love you preach, you would see all people as worthy of salvation” (1 Timothy 4:1)
  • Ignorant: “You don’t know there are other paths to enlightenment” (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
  • Old-Fashioned: “You cling to obsolete myths” (Hebrews 13:8)

Obama said of working-class voters in small-town America, “They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

The names “radical right,” “far-right,” “extreme right,” “Christian right”, and “alt-right” are also part of the effort to marginalize and demoralize those with traditional views. When was the last time you heard homosexual activists or abortionists referred to as the “Radical Left?

Vice President Mike Pence told a crowd of graduates from the Christian-based Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, that they ought to be ready for ridicule because this secular world is about as intolerant of those of the faith as can be.

There is no doubt that persecution is a stark reality of living the Christian life. Christian persecution is to be expected: the apostle Paul warned that “everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12). Jesus said that, if they persecuted Him, they will also persecute His followers (John 15:20). Jesus made it clear that those of the world will hate Christians because the world hates Christ. If Christians were like the world—vain, earthly, sensual, and given to pleasure, wealth, and ambition—the world would not oppose us. But Christians do not belong to the world, which is why the world engages in Christian persecution (see John 15:18–19). Christians are influenced by different principles from those of the world. We are motivated by the love of God and holiness, while the world is driven by the love of sin. It is our very separation from the world that arouses the world’s animosity (1 Peter 4:3–4).

Christians must learn to recognize the value of persecution and even to rejoice in it, not in an ostentatious way but quietly and humbly because persecution has great spiritual value. First, the persecution of Christians allows them to share in a unique fellowship with the Lord. Paul outlined a number of things he had surrendered for the cause of Christ. Such losses, however, he viewed as “rubbish” (Philippians 3:8) or “dung” (KJV) that he might share in the “fellowship of [Christ’s] sufferings” (Philippians 3:10). The noble apostle even counted his chains as a grace (favor) that God had bestowed upon him (Philippians 1:7).

Second, in all truth, Christian persecution is good for believers. James argues that trials test the Christian’s faith, develop endurance in his life, and help develop maturity (James 1:2–4). As steel is tempered in the forge, trials and persecution serve to strengthen the character of believers. A Christian yielding graciously to persecution demonstrates that he is of superior quality as compared to his adversaries (see Hebrews 11:38). It’s easy to be hateful, but Christlikeness produces kindness and blessing in the face of evil opposition. Peter says of Jesus, “When they hurled their insults at Him, He did not retaliate; when He suffered, He made no threats. Instead, He entrusted Himself to Him who judges justly” (1 Peter 2:23).

Third, Christian persecution enables believers to better value the support of true friends. Conflict can bring faithful children of God together in an encouraging and supportive way they might not have known otherwise. Hardship can stimulate the Lord’s people toward a greater resolve to love and comfort one another and lift one another to the throne of grace in prayer. There’s nothing like an unpleasant incident to help us reach a greater level of brotherly love.

Even in the face of Christian persecution, we can press on. We can thank God for His grace and patience with us. We can express gratitude for those whom we love in the Lord and who stand with us in times of distress. And we can pray for those who would accuse, misuse, or abuse us (2 Corinthians 11:24Romans 10:1).

The Media Assault on Christianity

When Reggie White, an ordained minister and All-Pro defensive end for the Green Bay Packers, stated in a speech his Christian beliefs regarding homosexuality, CBS almost immediately canceled his pending sportscasting contract. During his speech, White declared that he is “offended” by the comparison of struggles of homosexual groups to those of blacks. “Homosexuality is a decision. It’s not a race,” he said. At about the same time, CBS announced plans to air the Howard Stern Show, featuring raunchy language, nudity, and graphic sexual content.

Supported by the Justice Department, the news media characterizes Christians who choose to believe in the Bible as cultists. Numerous examples of this bigotry are evidenced by the endless reports of people who believe the “end of the age” is near is responsible for all sorts of terrorist acts. Some of the more apparent examples include the burning of the Davidian compound in Waco Texas and the murder of the family at Ruby Ridge.

Following the tragedy in Oklahoma City, Americans watched in disbelief as liberal pundits attempted to portray the maniac bombers with conservative and religious Americans – especially those who fight for the unborn child.

Writing in The Washington Post, Michael Lind made that connection between the bombers and pro-lifers. He wrote,

“The story of Oklahoma City and the militias should not make us forget that the main form of political terrorism in the United States is perpetuated by right-wing opponents of abortion.”

Washington Post columnist Carl Rowan wrote one of the most unbelievable columns stating:

“I am absolutely certain the harsh rhetoric of the Gingriches and Doles … creates a climate of violence in America.”

Bruce Morton of CNN attempted to link the bombers with religious Americans:

“What do you suppose the odds are that when they finally know who did it, they will say, “Well, I was following God’s will?”

Eleanor Clift, the loud voice of the left on PBS’s The McGlaughlin Report, predicted the bombers were from…

“a loose cabal of gun extremists, religious extremists.”

In the wake of the murder of Nicole Simpson, Wall Street Journal columnist Al Hunt attributed part of the blame for domestic violence against women on Pat Robertson’s teaching on the headship of the husband over the wife.

A government report blamed Christianity for causing teenage suicides. Published in 1989 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, it accused Catholics, Baptists, and other Christian groups of depicting homosexuality as morally wrong, thus creating “resolvable internal conflicts for youth who adhere to their faith but believe they will not change their sexual orientation.” The recommendation: churches must change their beliefs.

A working definition of hate speech is “speech that is intended to insult, intimidate, or cause prejudice against a person or people based on their race, gender, age, sexual orientation, political affiliation, occupation, disability, or physical appearance.” If that is the accepted definition, a Christian should never participate in hate speech. However, the problem is that the definition of hate speech is broadening over time. Proclaiming that a certain belief is wrong or that a certain activity is sinful, based on biblical principles, is increasingly being included in the definition of hate speech.

Ephesians 4:15 refers to “speaking the truth in love.” First Peter 3:15 instructs Christians to defend their faith, but to do so “with gentleness and respect.” Colossians 4:6 proclaims, “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt.” Sadly, some Christians fail to follow these biblical instructions. Some Christians (or at least people who claim to be Christians) speak the truth but speak it in such a way that it is very hateful. One prominent example would be Westboro Baptist Church and its “God hates fags” slogan. Westboro Baptist Church is correct in declaring the Bible’s teaching that homosexuality is sinful, but they are declaring this truth in such a way that it is intended to be incendiary, offensive, and hurtful. Needless to say, the Bible does not support such methods.

It is likely that in the near future, governments will begin declaring more speech as hate speech, thereby making it illegal. In some parts of the world, it is illegal to say that homosexuality is a sin. In some countries, it is illegal to declare one religion right and other religions wrong. This steady broadening of what qualifies as hate speech could eventually lead to any effort to evangelize being declared hate speech since it would be “hateful” to tell a person that what he/she currently believes is incorrect.

What the perpetrators of this expanded hate speech definition fail to realize (or admit) is that to tell someone the truth is an act of love, not hate. Is it hateful for a teacher to tell a student that his/her answer is wrong? Is it hateful for a building inspector to tell a construction company that they are building on a faulty foundation? Of course, the answer to these questions is no. However, that is precisely the illogic that is being applied to current hate speech legislation. Telling someone that his/her religious views are wrong is somehow hateful. Telling someone that his/her lifestyle is immoral is somehow hateful. The logic is not, in any sense, consistent with how truth is determined in other areas of society.

Our goal is to speak the truth in love. We do not hate Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Catholics, Mormons, or Jehovah’s Witnesses. Rather, we simply believe that these groups are making some serious theological and biblical errors. We do not hate homosexuals, adulterers, pornographers, transsexuals, or fornicators. Rather, we simply believe that those who commit such acts are making immoral and ungodly decisions. Telling someone that he/she is in the wrong is not hateful. In reality, refusing to tell someone the truth is what is truly hateful. Declaring the speaking of truth, presented respectfully, to be hate speech, is, in fact, the ultimate demonstration of hate. “Religion needs to reassess homosexuality in a positive context…” [“Government Tells Churches What to Teach,” AFA Journal ]

The U.S. government released a report by a committee of the National Research Council which called the Christian perspective of homosexuality a “deep-rooted social pathology” and further blamed Christians for “stigmatizing” homosexuals and thus contributing to the spread of AIDS.

Indeed, name-calling has become the defacto standard for liberals when describing their opponents. But, their derogatory terms, “bigot,” “racist,” “sexist,” and “homophobic” must be losing their effectiveness because recently they have begun a new campaign: calling their opponents “crazy.”

Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen says that Charlton Heston is nuts because his views on the culture war contradict today’s notion of political correctness.

Jesse Jackson says that Rudy Giuliani “sounds like a mentally disturbed person” because the Mayor had defended police action in New York City respecting the shooting of unarmed suspects.

Mind you, these people are not saying that their opponents’ ideas are crazy. That is perfectly legitimate. They are rather labeling the proponents of ideas they oppose as crazy. Their intent, of course, is to convince the American public that since these people are crazy, as opposed to the idea being crazy, then they do not deserve to be listened to at all. [Paul Weyrich, “Liberals resort to calling names,” Christian Crusade.]

The defenders of all that is fine and decent indict Bible-believing activists as “hate mongers,” “fire-breathing radicals,” “unchristian,” “merchants of hate” who would establish “a Christian version of the Ayatollah Khomeini’s Iran” and “fanatics” with a message of “hate and fear.” By stigmatizing the movement of the value, the Left hopes to avoid the issues in the debate. Its subliminal message is: “Don’t listen to what these extremists are saying. Don’t take them seriously.” They’re militants and bigots – and that’s all you need to know about them.” [Don Feder, “The Religious Right? That’s You,” Christian American.]

The frustrating thing is that those who are attacking religion claim they are doing it in the name of tolerance, freedom, and open-mindedness. Question: Isn’t the real truth that they are intolerant of religion? They refuse to tolerate their importance in our lives. – Ronald Reagan Source

The Bible says Bible prophecy is a lamp shining in a dark place (II Peter 1:19). That light should not be extinguished! It gives hope, encouragement, and helps us fight the good fight. It reminds us God is in control, that He has a special plan, and that He keeps His promises. It helps us live holy in an unholy age.

This is hardly controversial. In fact, it is our hope in hopeless times. We have the ultimate victory. We are not destined for wrath!

We are living in the most significant time in history and the most prophecy fulfilling days — with the least amount of interest in them. Our assignment is to be “watchmen” (Ezekiel 33). We’re to be sounding an alarm whether anyone listens or not.

Trouble is ahead. Time is short.

The nations of the world seem to be moving by a hidden hand into exactly the right positions on a global chessboard. Amazing things are happening right before our eyes.

Because of that, we must not be silent.

And don’t be discouraged. In Jesus’ day, a remnant changed the world.

It was David, a youth who watched over sheep, that had the courage and resolve to stand up to such a fierce enemy. Although this situation seemed hopeless and to any rational person would have appeared to be suicide, David stood up to the giant, overcoming this enemy who blasphemed God, and slew him victoriously.

So what does this have to do with us? We all know the story of David overcoming Goliath, but what if any connection does this have to do with living in the end times? A lot, I believe.

As followers of Jesus Christ living in the world today, we are living in unprecedented times. We stand on the cusp of seeing the unveiling of the New World Order and with it even more intense persecution of Christians worldwide. The evil that is going on in the world will only grow worse as humanity is deceived into worshipping Lucifer. Some Christians think that these things are inevitable and there is nothing we should do about it, that we should just sit back and allow these dark events to unfold as prophesied.

Nothing could be farther from the truth. Just as David faced a political enemy that wanted to conquer the people of God, we as 21st century Christians face a similar challenge. Though we face a giant that isn’t literal in the physical sense, the challenge is the same. We face an enemy that hates us and seeks our destruction because we serve as a constant light and reminder to this world of Jesus’ victory and Lordship accomplished through the resurrection. So how are we to respond? Does God want us to be passive and submissive to the evil powers hard at work hell-bent on enslaving humanity? Absolutely not!

God has called us to overcome the giants of these last days. We as Christians have been called to stand in these times of darkness.

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

We are called to overcome deception. We are called to overcome false teachings and ideologies. We are called to overcome perversion. We are called to overcome the dark powers which seek to force mankind to submit to the will of the devil. And when the time comes, those Christians who are in the world at the time of the Antichrist are called to overcome him and his global government as well.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

When we consider all of the negative and frightful topics present in our world today, we should look to examples like David who did not cower in fear but rather had such firm faith and confidence in God almighty that he stood in the face of a giant. We too must strive to have the same kind of faith a sign of courage to stand. Just as David armed himself for battle, we too must arm ourselves for battle – a spiritual battle that must be won with spiritual weapons.

2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds

When we read those words from Revelation 12 above, it is clear that the followers of Christ WILL overcome our enemy because ultimately Jesus will overcome him. The war has already been won and the day is coming when Christ Himself will cast down Satan and all who follow after him. Does this mean that Christians won’t suffer or be persecuted? No. Does it mean that Christian’s lives will be spared? No. The Bible is clear that persecution, suffering, and even death will befall those who follow after Jesus. Even now our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world are suffering unspeakable horrors. Yet, it is in spite of these terrible things that Christians will overcome the enemy.

Jesus Himself affirmed this point when He commissioned Peter to take over as leader of the church after His ascension:

Matthew 16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Like David, the day is coming when we will stand in a victory next to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to whom ultimately belongs the victory. Until then, however, we need to be like David and stand our ground. Each of us needs to do our part to stand for Jesus in these End Times. We must be bold and courageous to stand against the evil that is so prevalent in our world.

What does overcoming giants in the end-times look like practically speaking? It means taking action! It means speaking out whether vocally, through the written word, or through our daily actions. Talk to people. Share the truth and stand up for Jesus using social media. Call your congressman and urge them to support legislation aligned with Biblical values and reject those that are contrary to the word of God. Vote! Start a blog or podcast. Write a book. Exercise your constitutional rights of freedom of speech, assembly, and protest! (In a law-abiding manner of course) Lend support to Christ-centered groups and organizations that work to share the good news of Jesus. Serve in your local community in a way that helps others to see the love of God through you. Most importantly, never, never, never, underestimate the power of prayer!

Shadowbanning: Here is what you do. if you have 5,000 friends or 500, doesn’t matter. This ALWAYS works as FB is the shadow-banning King of social media.

Basically, Facebook owns your profile. Really. They own your friends. They own you, and you can’t do a damn thing about it if you are on Facebook.

Now imagine if you will, you place a link that you want all of your friends to see. So you post the following: Or any variation, you can say anything you want – as long as you have our URL – Our website that can be clicked in your message in it, you will quickly understand what the left is doing. They will not allow others to see YOUR post even to YOUR friends. Obviously, they are not YOUR friends. They are Facebook’s friends and you can’t do or say anything about it. Except leave, or if Trump does what is needed, we all sue them to death for wasting our money on ads and banning us. Time alone wasted on Facebook building a platform that can be just stolen, is priceless. Millions and millions of dollars are owed to conservatives and Libertarians all over for ads, for their work… and for their time put in building their businesses that they believed they were building on a neutral platform like ATT. They all know ATT or Verizon or TMobile, none are going to cancel your service if you say something they do not like in a conversation with someone they do not approve of for political reasons. Here – try this – – write the following or any variation and post it to YOUR friends. Don’t use the exact wording.Just saw the best news site I ever saw in my life. I never saw so much news and videos and links in my life. You have to go to Whatfinger News. , here – https://www.whatfinger.com – click this I bet you found your go-to news site from here on.

Now if you posted such a message like the above that actually links to Whatfinger, if you have 5,000 friends guess how many will see your post that you want them to see? 5, maybe if you are lucky. Yeah – out of 5,000 of YOUR friends, they have to go on your page to see this, and then they still might not. We now get reports where people will not even see it on your own page. Only you can. How’s that for a fake ‘platform’ that doesn’t want anyone to read Whatfinger News or the thousands and thousands of other sites? Evil is all I can call it. Theft as well. Time for justice.

This is Shadow-banning. You can still post your message or comment, but no one will see it. See – insidious and evil and obviously they are censoring. You are banned, but they don’t want to just tell you because they are cowards (and make money by you being there) and would need to ban 60 million of us. To just come out and say anyone who dares go against what they believe will be banned will destroy them pretty quickly.

Don’t get us wrong. We’re for freedom and capitalism. Facebook is not that. People were lied to. We were told it was neutral, like the phone company, which gives them immunity from being sued. Even if you have a convo on Verizon lines that they don’t like it doesn’t matter as phone companies are real platforms. But Facebook and other social media with the same legal protections for lawsuits are NOT neutral. After conservatives spent fortunes building their memberships and readers, Facebook thinks it can just rob them of it all. The ONLY thing protecting these leftists and potential dictatorship enablers that they are, is no one can sue them due to the lie of them being a neutral platform. This must change for America to survive. Now you understand…

The Birth Pains Are Growing Stronger….

“Unless God has raised you up for this very thing, you will be worn out by the opposition of man and devils”…
My name is Steve Meyers and I need to share a vision and warning that the Lord showed me back in April 2007….

Many of you will ask why I waited so long to share the warning. I didn’t. I shared the story with everyone that would listen from pastors to friends to family to colleagues. Immediately following the initial vision, I called a close friend. I told him to sit down that I had something to tell him. I needed it documented as I knew this was supernatural and from God. As I witness events unfolding today, I need to share the vision again.

The silencing of the American people before 2020?

“The human heart is an idol factory.”

The Un-Godly — Those That Suppress the Truth, the social media giants built multi-billion dollar empires by giving everyone a voice, but now that they have such a dominant position on the Internet they have decided that many prominent conservative voices should be completely silenced.

The Left, a broad term for Liberal Socialist Democrats that can only be explained fully by using the Bible explanation of the human race is as follows. A servant of Satan, because you are either saved or lost. This election has brought out the true nature of who you serve. Simply put, it’s Donald Trump, Conservatives, and Christians against the rest of the world. The Left’s Love applies only to those who believe as they do. They Love evil and commit Anarchy against those who love good. They are governed by lies and never tell the truth. On this Friday, Inaugural Day for the swearing-in of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States the Left wants to commit widespread Anarchy to shut down the swearing-in ceremony. Their goal of transforming America, which was founded in Judea Christian values into a Pagan Nation is almost complete. Their goal has always been the total removal of God from American society and the downfall of America. Donald Trump says he is a Presbyterian, but he left off the USA, an apostate church.

Everything done in dark will be brought to light, being biblically bankrupt will not exclude the elitist.

Let Me Make This Abundantly Clear. (I Am Apolitical) While I Have a General Distaste for Politicians No Matter the Party They Belong To, I Am Unashamedly Politically a Bible Believing Conservative Christian. I Have a Severe Distrust of Government. I Believe It Is the Most Inefficient and Ineffective Way to Accomplish Most Things. While I Strongly Disagree with Liberals/Progressives and Conservative on Most Political Issues, and While I Believe Liberals/Progressives and Most Politicians Are Terribly Misguided and Naive About What Big Government Will Eventually Result In, I Strive to Not Question Their Motives. at the Same Time, While I Find Myself in Agreement with Conservative Politicians on Some Issues, I Do Not Believe Electing Republicans Is the Answer to Everything. for Me, Very Sadly, the Main Difference Between Republicans and Democrats Is How Quickly They Want to Drive the Car Towards the Cliff. Simply Put, I Do Not Believe the Government Is the Solution for Everything. I Do Not Place Any Faith, Trust, or Hope in Any Politicians to Fix What Is Wrong with the World. “Come Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20)

Our government has been overthrown. As evidenced by Trump’s capitulation on the border, his recent servitude to the GMO industry and his acquiescence to the warmongers, our President has been compromised. Our liberties are being eliminated one by one. Gun confiscation is next. The Constitution is gasping its last breaths. Our borders are destroyed and our culture has been turned upside down by every perversion known to man.

Education is useless without the bible (Daniel Webster)

Usually, the Lord doth no great thing for or against his people, without giving warning of it before it comes.

John Wesley who said that what we tolerate in our generation, will be embraced by the next. Wesley is 100% correct! We are living in sick times.

  1. Corinthians 4:8-11 New King James Version (NKJV)
  2. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9. persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— 10. always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

Satan has power over (LGBTQE-TRANS PEOPLE). The “sons of disobedience” referred to in Ephesians 2:2 are those who have not trusted Christ as Lord and Savior (cf. Acts 26:18; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 13:12). The demons are also under the rule of Satan (Matthew 12:24), and one of his titles is “prince of demons” (Matthew 9:34). Satan has a kingdom (Matthew 12:26) and a throne (Revelation 2:13). Satan is called a prince because he is a ruler and possesses the power to manifest evil in the world through influencing people and commanding demons.

HNewsWire- “All political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable.” Just look at some of our modern-day examples: torture is “enhanced interrogation techniques”; murder is “collateral damage”; the aggression initiation of war is a “pre-emptive strike”; the theft of taxpayers’ money is a “bailout”, and the theft of depositors’ money in a bank is a “haircut” or “bail-in”.In a blatant example of Newspeak, the New World Order controllers (through the psychiatric DSM V) have tried to rename pedophiles as “minor-attracted persons” and redefine pedophilia as “sexual orientation”. This makes no sense since sexual orientation has to do with gender, not age, with whether you are attracted to males or females, not how old they are. There are even organizations (like B4UAct.org) which are claiming that pedophiles are being unfairly stigmatized for their feelings!

If homosexuality has been posed as healthy, good and normal, in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, so can pedophilia. Pro-pedophilic articles are making their way into academia.

The Cult of LGBTQE-E for EVIL and is often a cover for child-molesting perverts

Unfortunately, not all alternative sources are reliable, even some Major Christian (and I use Christian loosely) news sources have been corrupted. They will NOT tell the truth. They just parrot the deceptive narratives perpetrated by those who currently control our government and media. Even those who are honestly trying to present the truth can miss it sometimes. There is so much deception out there. In these last days, you must be wise as serpents and gentle as lambs. It is no time to sleep or slumber. Diligence and vigilance are required. It is critical that you think for yourself and not be a Lemming.

For 3,500 years antiGENTILISM has been the glue binding Judaism
For 2,000 years antiCHRISTianity has been a prime focus of Judaism.
antiGENTILISM is the problem. Cavemen did not sit around their caves:
    GROK: “HEY, me hate Jews.”
    HORG: “What a Jew?”
GROK: “Me not know …. but me hate”
HORG: ” We wait for Jew to come so we be mean to him”
Then non-Jews sat for tens of thousands of years waiting, waiting, waiting, for a Jew to come along, so we could all be mean for no reason. Sorry, what happened was Jews created a social system of Xenophobic Tribalism (look it up) wherein THEY hate all NON-Jews, and this hate of all non-Tribe members has, naturally, caused People to not like them.
anti-semitic … that’s what they called Jesus of Nazareth in the Galilee …
JUDAS ISCARIOT was a JEW beloved by the Temple Priests.
Judaism is neither a race or a religion, it is Xenophobic Tribalism.
A person unduly fearful or contemptuous of that which is foreign, especially of strangers or foreign peoples.
    1. The organization, culture, or beliefs of a tribe.
    2. A strong feeling of identity with and loyalty to one’s tribe or group.
Quick summation? They are the enemy of anyone who is not a TRIBAL MEMBER …… and only “tolerate” Gentiles.
They have practiced eugenics for 3,500 years …. both Mother and Father are supposed to be Jews for true membership.

Jews HATE Christianity even more then they hate most Gentiles — The Jewish Rabbis hold ISLAM in esteem while spitting on Jesus “As for Christianity, there is a dispute among Halachic authorities, but the vast majority consider it idolatry as well. Islam, on the other hand, is not considered idolatry.”
Read that last bit again:very very slowly so the “christianzionists:” can keep up … “Islam, on the other hand, is not considered idolatry.” The Rabbis despise Christianity.
The World should insist Israel live by the standards Israel demands of others. Be judged as Ye judge others. If Israel wants to be recognized, Israel must recognize the EQUALITY and HUMANITY of ALL People. Quit calling NON-Jews SHISKA, GOYIM, GENTILE. If Israel wants Hamas to ‘repudiate’ their charter, Israel must REPUDIATE their manual of hate, the TORAH, which openly proclaims that all ‘gentiles’ should be ‘Hewers of wood, and bearers of water’ …….. for Israel.
Israel must recognize the Native People’s RIGHT to a Palestinian state.
Israel REFUSES to sign the Non Proliferation Treaty or open It’s NUKES to inspection, Israel should have the exact same sanctions that were put on Iran.

I read your articles with great interest. I’m not a christian, never been baptized and grew up in a family of Wiccans. The things that worry me about christianity has to do with its history of violence against its opponents. Here is an article from Foreign Policy regarding the matter:

  3. Patrick Galasso on October 5, 2019 at 12:00 am

First and foremost you must understand that at the root of the New World Order is a spiritual battle and our enemy is Satan.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. – Ephesians 6:12
