Paul tells those of us who are the true church that we are to judge those who are in the church in 1Cor.5:9-13. And not those that are without because God will judge them. God wants us to do this because the church is for the righteous. Not the unbeliever. But, have you noticed that most preachers speak of evil outside the church? Always speaking in their messages about the evil that is in the world and condemning them for it. I wonder why that is. Hmm? Don’t they realize that by judging among ourselves as Paul said we keep the church the church, and the world? So what could possibly be their motivation for judging those outside the church against Paul’s instructions? What drives them to do this?

Gotta Know The Truth | A Bible Study For Those Seeking Truth

In this message, I m going to try to help you see what that is by doing just as Paul instructed. And while some may complain about this kind of message complaining that this is just being a “fruit inspector” when we do this. And it’s no one’s business how another lives their faith. Paul said otherwise. So I say for those who do not wish to follow Paul’s admonition that they are choosing to do so to simply hide from the truth instead of embracing it. And that doing so will not end well for you. But, for those who do as Paul admonished we are those who run to the truth. Instead of away from it. And we will do this today in this study as we look into what is the justice of God, and His grace that comes from it.

When the world thinks of justice they think of the offender being punished. They think in terms of someone getting what they deserve by making them pay the penalty for what they have done. So when the church thinks of justice shouldn’t we understand it as being different from the world since God says His ways are not man’s ways? Yet for some reason, they do not. In fact, they generally think in exactly the same terms about what justice is that the world does. Preaching that justice is getting what we deserve just as the world does. But, God’s justice is not about getting what we deserve. This is why I refer to those who believe this is God’s justice as Churchianity and not the true church at all. But, how can this be? It is because we supposed to renew the way we think when we come to faith in Jesus. God’s ways are above our ways so that His thinking is completely different from the way the natural man thinks. Which is what Paul plainly said in 1Cor.2 when he wrote, “But the natural man receiveth, not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.”

But, if we have the mind of Christ why do so many still think about so many things like justice and grace the same way that the world does? Why do so many who call themselves Christians believe exactly as the world does about something as fundamental to our understanding of how God relates to us as justice and grace? Could it be that it is because they have not come to saving faith in the true God? I contend that the Bible shows that when we believe what the Bible says about God’s justice and grace we should arrive at a very different conclusion about what it means for God to execute His justice than what the world thinks when they think of justice being executed. And we will see this clearly by reading in John3:16,17. Because here we see exactly what it means for God’s justice to be executed. This passage says that “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” This shows that God’s justice is His deliverance done for men because He loves us all. It is salvation, not punishment. And what we see in John3:16,17 is in complete agreement with what we see in Judges2:16. Because in it we see God delivering His people from the oppressor. So God’s justice was no different then than it is after Jesus came.

And what is so beautiful about God’s justice is that it brings deliverance for both the offender and the offended. Not just the offended as the world and so many who call themselves Christians believe. What a huge difference this is from the way Churchianity and the world view justice. Could this mean that it is because they all have believed in the same false god? A false god whose justice is giving people what they deserve? And that grace to them is only unmerited favor that keeps men from getting what they deserve? And that he is only able to give this so-called unmerited favor because his wrath is appeased by the bloody torturous death of the innocent?

When he should have instead believed in the Creator who loves man and has done all that is needed to make him free from death simply because He does love us without condition. By becoming a man so God could join with mankind in his death. So that by His resurrection He could conquer death for all who will receive His gift of love. But, as we’ve seen in these two passages, and would see all through the Bible if we really believed in the God the Bible says is love, giving someone what they deserve does not even remotely resemble the justice of the true God at all.

So I will ask again. Could it be that those who believe this about God really do not know Him? Could it be that they have made a god for themselves that is fashioned after the world’s thinking and not what the Bible says? The thinking of the natural man who considers the things of the Spirit to be foolishness? Just as an idol maker and worshiper does. And in the case of the Roman Catholic and protestant religions, their natural man understanding of justice has made for them a god who requires the torturous bloody death of the innocent to appease its wrath. A more abominable belief about God is not possible. Because this belief destroys any notion of a God of love. And instead makes the true God into a god-like Molech who required the torturous bloody death of the innocent to appease its wrath. A false god that the true God commands His people not to worship.

Jeremiah 10:10 (KJV) — Today's Verse for Monday, October 10, 2016

This is also why they have made their god’s love subject to its justice. A perverted justice that must be satisfied before love can be shown. And the satisfaction of their god’s perverted form of justice is that someone must pay the penalty for the bad behavior that was imputed to them from someone else for them to be forgiven. A penalty that comes from their god’s demand for “sinless perfection”. The keeping of laws written on stone Paul calls the ministration of death in 2Cor.3:7. A perfection that they have believed that through no fault of their own they can never accomplish. Because they were actually made that way. They have believed this because they have believed in a false god like Molech and not the true God at all.

Their god is so completely sadistic that it made them in such a way that its demands on them can not possibly be met. A false god who when those demands are not met then condemns them to burn in a lake of fire for all eternity for not meeting those demands. If this imposter isn’t satan then there is no satan. Their twisted understanding of justice actually causes them to believe that their god has shown it’s “great love” and “amazing grace” for them in making the way out of this predicament by the torture and murder of a completely innocent man in their place to appease its wrath against them for a situation they had no part in creating. But, were nevertheless held to account for. Again, this is not the God of the Bible. It is an imposter. It is satan.

This is why I know that anyone who believes in a God whose justice is that which gives someone what they deserve has not come to saving faith in the true God. Because this is not the justice of the true God found in the Bible. Nor is it the grace God shows to all men. It is the god of this world’s form of justice and grace. It is the false god of punishment and unmerited favor. Because the Bible clearly shows God’s justice to be deliverance, not severity. Unconditional love, not capriciousness. Not condemnation for circumstances one has no part in creating. A grace that comes from the unconditional love that has nothing to do with merit one way or the other.

And the Bible clearly shows that God’s love reigns supreme because John says God is love. And Paul says it is the goodness that comes from His love that leads a man to repentance. Deliverance from the false god and death by His saving grace. A love that is not subject to anything. Let alone justice. On the contrary, God’s justice works by His love and is from His love. It is not contrary to it. Nor is it a condition of it that must be met as these who have been deceived into idolatry have believed. Because in executing justice His love acts to deliver us from the devil and death. It does not throw us into its arms because of some perverted form of justice that thinks justice is getting what one deserves. And especially so when one has had no part in what they believe makes us deserve it.

So once again we see that the fact that God is love is the all in all for determining how God deals with His creation. There is nothing that God does that does not have its genesis in His love. And this is why He came as a man to suffer and die on the cross. Because only by doing this could death be conquered for us so that we could be delivered from death so that we could have eternal life. Jesus said this was the purpose for which He came in John10:10 stating clearly that “I have come that you might have life and that life more abundantly”.

So why do so many believe the lies from those who do not know the true God? Could it be that it is because they do not know Him either?  It surely can. But, He is waiting for them. He has always been waiting. Wooing men to Himself by His goodness that comes from His love. He has prepared the way for them to come to Him because He loves us with a love that is rich in goodness and forbearance and longsuffering because it is the goodness of God that leadeth thee to repentance as Paul taught in Rom.2:4. Not His severity. And not the threat of a penalty.

If you are hearing this for the first time and you are sensing the love of the true God, will you trust in Him today and turn from the capricious lying false god that you have believed in? Will you turn from the false god who has tricked you to believe that justice is you getting the punishment you deserve through no fault of their own, to the true God who loves you and wants you to know His love? If you will you can be set free from religion to righteousness. A righteousness that is our relationship with Him just as Jesus said He was when He went to be with the Father after being separated from Him by the power of death as He told them in John16:10 when He said: “Of righteousness, because I go to the Father”. Not a righteousness derived from perfect law-keeping done by ourselves or someone else that Paul says is a righteousness that can not save anyone in Gal.2:16 and Phil.3:6-9.

1 Corinthians 16:14 | For God So Loved

If you are reading this God is calling you. He loves you and wants you to know Him. Because knowing Him is this eternal life that provides you with the spirit that makes you God’s child.John17:3. Because while all men are created by God, not all men are born of His Spirit so that they are children of God. It is only those who have come to know Him that is spiritual because knowing Him is to be born of His Spirit. So if you do not know Him, but have now believed that He is Lord and that He has raised from the dead to conquer death for you, then please take the time right now to talk to Him and confess to Jesus that He is Lord of your life. And believe that He has raised from the dead to conquer death for you. If you do believe in Him then tell Him something like this and you will have eternal life:

Dear Jesus, I believe you. Thank you for joining with me in death so that by conquering death by your resurrection I could join with you in eternal life. Thank you that you raised from the dead so that I could raise from the dead too by trusting in, clinging to, and relying solely on you. Thank you for giving me a new spirit now Lord so that I can live with you in your kingdom forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.

By praying a prayer similar to this one and really meaning it from your heart you have been saved from death to life. From sin to righteousness. And from the wrath to peace with God. And now as you begin reading the Bible and believing what it plainly says it will begin to change the way you think and believe. Because when you trust in Jesus you leave the old life behind where you were only able to relate to and trust in what has been made. And now will be equipped for God’s kingdom because you are no longer only natural flesh and blood, but are a new creature made a spiritual being ready to inherit God’s spiritual kingdom. It is because of Jesus’ resurrection that He is the only WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. Because only Jesus has broken through the wall of death that the flesh and blood natural body can never get through. And only by the new birth are we made ready to receive the spiritual body that can go through the wall of death as Jesus’ did first so we could follow Him in the way He has prepared for us.
